Great location in the city, surrounded by many good food spots and public transportation. Modern hotel, beautiful interiors and experience. Very welcoming front desk setting and dining area. Super clean and beautiful place. Helpful and professional front desk team. Great view of the city from our rooms, rooftop pool/sauna/onsen. Spacious rooms with huge windows for unobstructed views. Highly recommended.

Esta casa de huéspedes tiene una historia que contar en cada rincón, conservando parte de su estilo japonés original. El ambiente es tranquilo y limpio. El baño termal nocturno se reserva con una hora por grupo, lo que permite a las parejas disfrutar de un baño privado juntas. Se ofrece una introducción detallada antes del check-in. La dueña es amable y guapa 🥰. El desayuno es tradicional (el arroz está exquisito). Recomiendo encarecidamente tomarse el tiempo necesario para disfrutar plenamente y apreciar cada detalle. Aunque la ubicación está un poco lejos de la estación (a 15 minutos a pie), recomiendo tomar un taxi desde la estación hasta la casa de huéspedes. Hay un servicio de entrega de equipaje en la estación al momento del check-out, así que no hay que apresurarse a recogerlo. Puedes recoger tu equipaje al coger el tren (la consigna cuesta entre 600 y 800 yenes). Puedes pasear fácilmente por Yufuin, disfrutando del aire limpio y de las calles. Si tuviera que señalar un inconveniente, sería la notable humedad de los tatamis, probablemente porque está cerca de una montaña y hay bastante humedad. Además, al ser una casa de huéspedes, no ofrecen ningún servicio después de las 21:00. Llegamos muy tarde y no tuvimos tiempo de comprar nada antes de registrarnos. No hay tiendas de conveniencia cerca y la casa de huéspedes no tiene máquinas expendedoras de comida. Pero mientras no llegues puntual como nosotros, no tendrás este problema. 🙂

The Grand Mercure Beppu Bay Resort offers spacious, clean rooms and excellent service, with staff who communicate well in English. The lounge is a highlight, providing complimentary snacks and drinks, including alcohol, though seating can be limited during busy times. Breakfast was average and could be improved, especially considering the price. The hotel’s location is a bit far from Beppu downtown, which may be inconvenient for those wanting frequent city access. Parking spaces are also limited, which can cause some difficulty if returning late at night. Despite these drawbacks, the overall stay was enjoyable, thanks to the comfortable rooms and attentive staff.

First of all, I would like to extend special thanks to the hotel for their cooperation, and especially to Mr. Ninomiya from the hotel for his tremendous assistance, which made my partner and I experience a truly romantic and unforgettable time. The hotel staff spoke good English and were very friendly. The environment was tranquil and clean, the hot springs were excellent, and the view from the room I booked was absolutely superb. If I have the chance to visit Beppu for a vacation again in the future, I will definitely return and will also recommend it to my friends.

Lo que más me molestó fue que reservé dos habitaciones para tres personas, ¡pero resultaron ser dos para cuatro! ¿Por qué? ¿Cómo fue el pago? Estaba preocupado y no podía quedarme tranquilo. Ojalá me perdonaran. No podría usar esto si algo así sucediera.

Exit from train station, turn right, walk out of the exit and you will see the entrance of the hotel on the right of the building at AMU. Lobby at level 8 while room from 9 onwards. Level 19 is the free onsen for guests. Breakfast was good local and western style. The washer and dryer not as good I think as after wash my clothing got a smell. Managed to rewash some at Kagoshima. Overall very convenient hotel as we used their trains to travel to Peppu to visit hells and Yokosuka to visit Harmonyland

very happy to have booked this hotel. very well located hotel, walkable fr yufuin station. breakfast and dinner every day was very nice, some days better than others but excellent nonetheless. place is a little old but is well kept. room is also rather large and we had the mountain view which was amazing. hotel onsen water can be a little too hot, so sensitive ppl do be careful. will come again.

Симпатичный хотел с очень удобным и вайбовым расположением. Есть общая кухня со всем необходимым (плита, холодильник, микроволновка, раковина, посуда, столовые приборы, столы и барные стулья). Общие зоны душевых и туалетов чистые, шампунь и гель для тела в свободном доступе. Осталась в полном восторге от раковин, где сразу и мыло, и вода, и сушка. За дополнительную плату можно воспользоваться здешней прачечной (постирать и высушить белье). Из минусов: - Этажом выше находится караоке, и да, его слышно. - Есть разделение на мужскую и женскую половины, но стоит понимать, что сотрудники по этому признаку не делятся, по крайней мере, пару раз видела мужчину, который возился с корзинами. - Ячейки для багажа явно не предназначены для чемоданов.

El jefe es tan amable! He pedido un servicio de recoger, pero por favor saluda en frente del tren y ayúdame con atención. Y solicitar el desayuno y la cena sin condiciones. Es realmente delicioso! La casa de la ciudad es muy buena, pero no es muy buena. El presidente es muy amable, muy cálido, el arroz es muy delicioso, es la mejor manzana. Es la mejor manzana que he estado en mi vida.Voy a visitar otra vez
