I had a pleasant stay at Art Hotel Kagoshima. The hotel offers a beautiful view of Sakurajima, especially from the rooms facing the bay — waking up to that scenery was truly memorable. The staff were friendly, polite, and helpful throughout my stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the overall service felt professional and efficient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a short stay. The bed was cozy, and the room layout made good use of space. Breakfast was enjoyable, with a nice selection of Japanese and Western dishes, and the restaurant had a lovely view as well. The hotel’s location is convenient — just a short drive from the city center and ferry terminal. Overall, Art Hotel Kagoshima is a great choice for travelers looking for comfort, good value, and beautiful views of Sakurajima. I would be happy to stay here again.

客室に生花があるのが珍しいです。ホテルの大浴場ですが、男性の方は改装したようでとても清潔です。ただぢ、夜は23時に終わってしまうので、もう少し遅く営業して欲しいです。夕食を館内のレストランで刺身定食をいただきました。ボリュームも味も良かったのですが、肝心の刺身が小さくて残念でした。朝食ですが、さつま揚げ、カルパッチョが絶品です。カルパッチョは夕食以上に大きな刺身でした。ここの朝食はグレードが高いと思います。

Este hotel está renovado recientemente. Este es un hotel con vistas majestuosas al monte Takachi El hotel estaba muy bien, el hotel estaba limpio y la cama estaba bien. La cena era tan satisfactoria, pero la composición de la bebida era un poco infeliz. El baño grande era espacioso, así que la utilicé de forma recreativa. ¡Es un poco incómodo traer a muchachos más grandes que pensé a la bañera ^^;; Generalmente satisfecho y usado !!

Hotel Kyocera is probably one of the largest hotel in Kirishima. It has two buildings ( main and annex) and looks quite good architecturally. They are connected by a bridge on the 3 floor which has the walking escalator- and a display of the various places that have been listed as world heritage sites in Japan. Inside the main building, there is a glass church which is ideal for weddings. In the basement, there is a large onsen, and spa. It is certainly a good place for having a holiday. The overall condition of the rooms are good- and the rooms are of good size. My room faces the East and has a perfect view of sunrise! 指宿菜の花マラソンの応援のために宿泊しました。 売店も遅くまで開いていたし、朝は早くから朝食の準備もしていただいて、過ごしやすかったです。 建物は年季が入っていますが、その分スタッフのみなさんがとても温かくて、ありがたかったです。 マラソンの応援の道案内など、すごく丁寧に教えていただき、助かりました。

I think I had been charge twice in my credit card for this booking since i had used my credit card when I booked this room,but then the hotel charge me again ¥6,560 uppon check in. I thought the amount will be return upon check out since trip.com advice me regarding this amount but I did not receive the amount after check out.Here is a proof of hotel payment that I made again upon check in

Amazing breakfast , very adorable onsen , excellent location and friendly staff makes this place highly recommended to a tourist looking for comfortable and reasonable price . I spent three nights and I wish I could spend even longer time there due the comfort and convenience of the property . Free facial masks is an extra ❤️

It was a wonderful stay. The hotel management was excellent, and the room was in great condition. I want to give a special mention to Miss Gotanda 五反田, who guided me after check-in. Her detailed explanations and warm smile set a positive tone even before I checked in. The hotel's hot spring overlooks Sakurajima volcano, enjoy hot spring while watching the sunrise was a truly delightful experience. I will definitely come back again next time.

the perfect remote place for onsen and sand bath relaxing treatment, fantastic rooms in Japanese style with all facility, great service twice daily, onsen bath with sea-side view at 5th floor of the hotel... restaurants and shops inside the hotel, bicycle available, restaurants and supermarkets in the near of the hotel, friendly hotel staff - just incedible nice and helpful !

En varios lugares se estaban realizando reformas, por lo que, entre otras cosas, no se pudo utilizar la zona de sauna.  Sólo tienes una botella de agua, sólo el primer día de tres. Le pedí a la camarera de piso una botella de agua, en parte porque no tenían que limpiar mi habitación, pero me dijeron que sólo estaba incluida una botella el primer día. Por eso, elegí comer mis tres almuerzos en restaurantes distintos al del resort, además de alquilar una moto en otro lugar. Esto supuso una pérdida de al menos 15.000 Y para el complejo, ya que el almuerzo cuesta al menos 3.000 Y multiplicado por 3 y una moto al menos 6.000 Y. Imaginemos lo que una botella de agua al día podría haber supuesto en ganancias adicionales.
