The Coast View hotel felt a bit dated, but it was generally clean. The TV wasn't working, but it was fixed immediately. The breakfast buffet and restaurant were delicious, and the staff were very helpful.
Unfortunately, I didn't receive a detailed statement of my credit card payment at checkout.
Despite multiple email requests since returning home, I haven't received a detailed statement of the total amount, so I'm confused about what was charged to my room and how much.Could you please attach it to an email as soon as possible?

OVerall a lovely hotel and super nice staff at reception. Rooms are very spacious and nice comfy beds.
Slight communication error when we asked for a tuk tuk and he took us to somewhere we hadn't asked & good job I has my google maps to recognise we were headed to wrong place!
Pool is lovely for a swim and nice to have complimentary drinks at 430pm too with a little snack, the games area upstairs was fun too but just very hot up there.

La ubicación es buena y el hotel es justo bien. Necesito una renovación alrededor del camino que conduce a la playa. ***y optar por esta ubicación para facilitar el acceso a las playas, si no se mantiene, se desiluden.
El SPA no es por la expectativa y la mantenimiento del spa es muy malo. La comida es por encima de la media. El desayuno buffet es bueno, pero no hay variedad para los que permanecen más tiempo. En general, fue una buena experiencia. El hotel está muy bien situado en la piscina, el Sr. Babu se le debe dar por su servicio.

Had two nights stay in the hotel at the beginning and the end of our holiday. The hotel was really nice, the rooms were large, with a fabulous rain shower plus toiletries and the beds very comfortable. Fort Kochi is a grey place to explore and the various aires were easily accessible from the hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

Location was really good , the roof top view was the showstopper of the property. As we were travelling with an infant we found the staff very helpful with preparing the meals for the baby. Arabian sea view room was excellent.

UUsuario invitadoI was weary about booking as the website photos looked quite tired. All of the photos are really old - it was an amazing stay and so much better than I expected. I enjoyed the complementary pottery making and the tea cart in the afternoons. The food à la carte was absolutely delicious. I avoided the buffet a bit as I do in all hotels. The pool is clean and there is excellent service, with staff helping you with towels, umbrellas, and drinks. The rooms are really pretty. Good air con. The gym is good and has air con although the air con is not as powerful as in the bedrooms. The gym has two treadmills, a static bike, basic leg press, weight rack and bench, and some of the arm/shoulder machines too. There were only a few downsides. 1) The beach that it backs onto is actually quite gross (there was nappy in the sand and gunk that looked like sewage), but it’s easy to avoid this. 2) The beach has a real drop from the sand into sea so it’s not very safe to swim in unless you want to be smacked against the bank. These two things don’t matter though as the hotel is lovely and there is enough to do that you don’t need to go on the beach. 3) I booked 2 nights in one booking and 1 night in another booking. I asked when I booked the single, third night, whether I can keep the same room. They said they’d let me know at check in. They didn’t let me know at check in. They said they’d tell me on the second day in the day, but nothing. I kept asking at reception and I called them on the phone twice, and they kept saying they’d call me back. It was 9.30pm on the night before I’d have to move rooms before they told me I could stay. I’m not really sure why it took so long or they messed me around on this as 3 of my exact rooms were available on the website for those nights, so by that logic it would not have been a problem!

O by Tamara offers a tale of two experiences: the facilities earn a solid 4 stars, while the service standards hover around 3 stars—creating an interesting contrast that management should address.
The Good: The hotel's facilities are genuinely excellent and well worth the visit. The infrastructure and amenities reflect thoughtful design and quality investment.
The Challenging: The service execution, unfortunately, doesn't match the facility standards. During our stay, we found ourselves repeating requests multiple times—whether at the restaurant or with general hotel staff. The breakfast service was particularly entertaining in an unintended way: the staff exhibited what I'd call ”Brownian motion hospitality”—lots of energetic movement, but not always in productive directions. Items were frequently forgotten, and follow-ups became necessary more often than expected.
The Concerning: We requested a late checkout until 1:00 PM. The front desk approved only a 30-minute extension, yet our bill reflected a 2-hour late checkout. This discrepancy requires immediate attention from management.
Recommendations: The property would benefit from comprehensive staff retraining to align service quality with the excellent facilities. Additionally, rooms and common areas could use renovation to maintain the overall standard.
Bottom Line: The facilities make this hotel worth considering, but the management team needs to invest in service training and operational consistency. With these improvements, O by Tamara could easily become a standout property.
I remain hopeful that management will address these concerns promptly.

UUsuario invitadoEl hotel es un hotel de calidad, el hotel está situado en el edificio principal, y el hotel está situado en una zona hermosa y bien diseñada, el personal está bienvenido, siempre interesado en nuestros deseos. La piscina es pequeña, pero las habitaciones con vistas al jardín y los clubes tienen sus piscinas, así que la gente era poco, tranquilamente era posible mentir en la mentira.
No me gustaban los taxis obsesionados en la entrada al hotel. Llamado el Uber, así que no nos dejaron que el conductor nos recogera! ¡Era necesario subir un poco más alto ( hacia el Gokolam Hotel) y sólo allí podíamos entrar en el coche. ¡Muy desagradable, y para un hotel de esta clase no está claro por qué permiten el estacionamiento de un taxi, no se sentía seguro! Tenga en cuenta que si usa el limpiador, el conductor no podrá ir al territorio del hotel e incluso a la puerta, tiene que ir más arriba en la carretera, sólo allí puede sentarse en el coche, pasando esta mafia de taxistas.

The hospitality here is unmatched,,,, a huge compliment to the staff who go above and beyond to make you feel completely welcome. Shoutout to Manager Krishna. From the moment we arrived, it honestly felt like going to our own home. The warmth and attentiveness of the team really stand out, which other reviewers consistently rave about as well.
Another major highlight was the food; every meal was absolutely delicious and comforting, making us feel completely at ease, just like a home-cooked meal.
They have nice hiking trails around the property.
couple of practical things to keep in mind.
The Drive In: Please know that there is a 1-2 km rugged, unpaved road leading up to the property. It takes about 10-15 minutes to get to the resort from the main gate, so be prepared for a bit of a bumpy ride, and drive carefully!
The Spa/Massage: While the rest of our stay was incredible, pool was great. the massage was a complete waste of time and money. It was not pleasant at all, and I definitely don't recommend booking it.
Overall, if you skip the spa and focus on the beautiful property, incredible food, and the wonderful staff, you will have a fantastic time. We loved it!

We had the most wonderful 3 night stay at this beautiful lake resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, so friendly, helpful, and genuinely accommodating.
The setting is absolutely breathtaking, and the whole atmosphere of the resort is peaceful and relaxing. A perfect place to unwind and relax.
The rooms were lovely, spacious, spotless, and really comfortable, with everything we needed for a perfect break. The food was another highlight, every meal was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. A special mention to Jeeva in the restaurant, who made our dining experience even more memorable with such attentive and warm service but all of the restaurant staff were excellent and made every meal a pleasure. Also Anju who so lovely and again very attentive but I have to say every single staff member was so pleasant, which made our stay exceptional.
Can’t recommend this gem of a place enough, we are already planning our next visit!

Salvo por algunos inconvenientes menores. El primer día, solo había una bata en la habitación, a pesar de ser doble. El segundo día, la bata desapareció.
El menú del minibar es una cosa, pero otro producto completamente distinto tiene una selección mucho menor de la que se indica. Por lo demás, todo bien. Es un hotel elegante, con desayunos normales. Tiene una bonita piscina con gimnasio. El restaurante está abierto las 24 horas, lo cual es muy práctico. El personal es muy amable y profesional. La próxima vez que vaya a Kočani, me alojaré aquí.
