El hotel es muy básico, pero es limpio y temprano y tiene todo lo que necesita para un corto estancia. Las habitaciones tienen una magnitud decente con camas confortables, TV, secador de pelo, té y cafetería, suministros de leche y toallas, pero si lo solicitan en la recepción, son agradables y felizes para satisfacer sus necesidades. La dama que estaba en la recepción en el momento de nuestra estadía de una noche era hermosa, nos dio galletas extra, nos dio un cargador de teléfono para prestar y nos sentamos y tuvimos una copa en el bar de recepción. No hay servicio de comida en este momento debido a la escasez de personal, pero eso no afecta a nuestra estadía al salir a cenar y al desayuno el día siguiente. They have CCTV everywhere and this is monitored by the reception staff as well as a night porter so you feel very safe here despite the numerous reviews I've read about **********s and things. En general, he reservado un lugar agradable y barato para una noche y esto es lo que tenemos. Está en una buena ubicación con fácil distancia a pie a muchas tiendas, bares y restaurantes.

En el hotel, el hotel está en una habitación de 3 estrellas, y el hotel está en una habitación de 3 estrellas. ¡Fui a la recepción y hablé con la señora que era muy disculpada y explicó que la aplicación nunca funciona, si es así, quizás el hotel debería quitar los códigos de la habitación y sustituir con un menú de servicio tradicional de la habitación! La dama en la recepción hizo todo lo que podía para corregir el problema y parecía ser utilizada para esto ocurriendo. Desgraciadamente, porque tuve que esperar tanto tiempo para el servicio de habitaciones (se suponía que era sólo un snack) me perdí en el uso de las instalaciones así que no puedo comentar realmente, pero se parecían buenos . El desayuno era fantástico, tengo que decir, bien cocinado y muchas opciones, servirte a ti mismo que me disfruté.

Arrived early no issues with that, friendly guy talked us through check in via phone, booked direct, requested upgraded room, got keys to the room was not impressed! Very basic , Room 7 , strange smell, worksurface round sink cracked & shabby, no tea/coffee making facilities in room which I have never experienced before…(shared kitchen has all these) just not my preference like a cuppa in room without having to feel you need to get dressed & go downstairs (personal choice) called number enquiring if my room was an upgraded one, no it wasn’t they made a mistake, quickly rectified, changed room Room 10, have to say compared to 1st one this was progressively better. Parking , plentiful if you don’t have inconsiderate drivers parking across ways in front of hotel making access to rear carpark not accessible! , when we arrived back at 11pm we had to park on road round the corner (not hotels fault) Would we return , No, ok for what we needed it for attending function Hessle Town Hall.

We stayed here a few months ago, in one of their premium rooms & had a disappointing stay in a dated room with a narrow bath with a shower over it. The water also got turned off due to a plumbing problem so it was a bit of a nightmare. The hotel had no control over the plumbing problem but when we mentioned the difficulty we had with the high sided narrow bath on checkout, Michelle, on reception, immediately apologised & offered us a complimentary night in one of their other rooms with a walk in shower. A few months later, we received an email from Village Hotels, informing us that they had started refurbishing the rooms in the hotel so we decided to use the complimentary stay & find out for ourselves. We arrived to a warm welcome & was immediately allocated our room on the 'Top Deck' (Room 518). It had been refurbished to a high standard. It was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed, walk in rain shower, Iron, Ironing board, Kettle, teas & coffees & a very large TV. There was also a note with two Starbuck's cups, welcoming us back & inviting us to take the cups to the in house Starbucks shop for complimentary coffees of our choice - which we thought was a nice touch & very good customer care. We had a swim in the pool then after a night out in town, we arrived back at the hotel at around midnight. The bar was closed but the guy on the reception said we could have a drink. We only planned to have one but he said he was happy to keep it open if we wanted to sit there for longer. Breakfast was included & it is your average hotel buffet breakfast with a selection of hot & cold food, coffee, tea, juice etc... One thing that we noticed was the friendliness of the staff, Everyone seemed to have a smile & a warm greeting for us, from the receptionist to the housekeeping staff. This hotel is a few miles out of Hull but it is only a six minute walk to a bus stop with a very good service for those wanting to visit the theatre/ football etc...

Disgusting! Initially told check in is 2-9pm. We had a day out with family who were staying elsewhere, had planned to all return here for dinner. Receive a phone call at 5pm to say they were closing as Monday is their only day off. I said ok, but how did i check in? Was told to call a number on arrival. Arrived at 6:30pm, went to the pool as was the only thing we could see open. Asked if we could swim, he said yes, no problem, open until 9pm. Called a number to be let in to our room. Was taken to our room and unsurprisingly he handed the keys before quickly disappearing. The room was awful. Tired, dirty, the temperatures of a sauna and my daughter refused to use the bathroom due to how dirty it was. There were no curtains to block light from the window opposite the bed, and the door struggled to close. Stayed there 2 minutes and went back to the pool. A different staff member this time who said that we couldn’t swim as after 5pm you need to be 16, my daughter is 13, the pool was empty and there was just absolutely no need for this. He said she can swim in the morning, then he grabbed a timetable and said “oh no, actually, we have a booking, so you cant swim on your stay” We went back to our family who were staying elsewhere, desperately trying to find me and my daughter somewhere else to stay, but we couldn’t find anywhere available. This left us no choice but to return to the hotel to collect our belongings and drive long into the night to return home. We just couldn’t stay in this room. We arrived home at 2am, our family now enjoying a day together with us unable to be involved. Incredibly disappointed.
