El hotel es de primera. Todo funciona en la habitación, la limpieza está disponible bajo petición y el desayuno es bueno, aunque repetitivo, no te quedarás con hambre. Puedes alquilar una moto por 350 pesos por un mínimo de 3 días. Las excursiones son opcionales, o puedes reservar tus propios boletos a las islas. Recomiendo este hotel, pero solo habitaciones con baño privado.

Situación del hotel está bien, pero no muy bien firmada. Apasionante estacionamiento. Habitaciones asignadas (Reina) está bien, pero ubicación apasionante ( cortinas abiertas para ver la planta de mantenimiento!) Muy pobre agua caliente en la ducha/baño. Toallas abominables, muy viejas y muy duras. No limpiar mi coche con ellas. El restaurante es muy bueno, excepto el vino de cualquier naturaleza, a pesar de la amplia selección de menús. La piscina está bien, excepto un poco de espuma en la superficie del agua y las telas de mosaico en y alrededor de la piscina necesitan limpiar mal y las telas desaparecidas y sustituir.

They even prepared a small suprise for me since we arrived on the day of my birthday. We booked the Rattan Villa for five people, and it was incredibly spacious. There was more than enough room for everyone to move around comfortably. We also had restful nights—the beds were so soft and comfortable that it felt like sleeping in a five-star hotel. The resort has a peaceful and relaxing ambiance. Although there was some ongoing construction during our stay, it wasn't a major issue since we were out most of the day for our island activities, and the work had already stopped by the time we returned each afternoon. We also enjoyed dining at their restaurant. The food was delicious, and we appreciated that the chef personally came over to ask how we liked our meals. My only suggestion would be to add more menu options, as the resort is quite far from restaurants and convenience stores. Having a wider selection would be especially helpful for guests staying several days. The staff were all friendly, accommodating, and approachable. They assisted us with everything we needed before, during, and even after our stay, making us feel well taken care of. El hotel está bien, con una piscina y un bar preciosos. Pero no creo que valga la pena el precio. El personal de recepción no es muy servicial ni amable. La habitación está bien, pero nada más, un poco anticuada. El desayuno no tiene muchas opciones; nos costó encontrar algo que nos gustara. El hotel está bien, pero podría mejorarlo o podrían bajar los precios.

The hotel itself is truly luxurious — beautifully designed, pristine, and so comfortable. The restaurant was a definite highlight — absolutely delicious food that we looked forward to every meal. And the views… wow! The scenery took our breath away and truly touched our hearts. The staff are nice and very welcoming. We stayed for 2 nights and the breakfast buffet viands are different everyday. Will definitely book again soon.

Kalipay is conveniently located along the main road, walking distance from CEV (the best ceviche in Siargao) and Happiness Bar (best happy hour deal). The resort is quiet, has a nice pool and the rooms are clean. The staff are amazing — friendly, accommodating and extra helpful. The receptionist, Kim, took really good care of us.

Everything was great. Prime location and you can escape to the beach in just a few steps. Kudos to receptionist Jem and guard Kuya Mike fas they’re very accommodating and friendly all throughout my stay. I wish there were signages on closing the door slowly though as some foreigners dont mind their own manners when sharing quarters. Some throw their tissues in the toilet and dont tend to flush it, not sure if it’s their culture but something Mad Monkey has no control over. Bonus points on having a lot of bathroom to choose from. They also offer FREE SHOTS at the bar during night party. I booked the bunk through Trip.com for only 648 pesos. When I tried yo extend my stay, it’ll cost me more than 3 times more. So book ahead at trip.com for cheaper prices.

Rucksack is the biggest Hostel in Siargao, it offers private rooms for couple, family or group traveller and Dormitory Type rooms for Solo Traveller like me. Dormitory bed is comfortable with thick Hotel bedding, ventilation is very cool. Price is also great specially if you are budget conscious . Rucksack has its own Pool, Restaurant and Bar. Plus activities for guests every night. You will definitely enjoy your stay.
