So glad that I chose Six Senses Kyoto, love the design and everything about the hotel. I must say the pool was one of the best pools I ever swam, felt so calm and relaxed. Room was super comfortable and clean, overall experience was beyond my expectations. Thank you the team for their impeccable service, they are so well trained and professional. Excellent quality breakfast with buffet and à la carte menu.

El hotel está ubicado en la estación JR, lo que facilita mucho ir a cualquier parte, incluso para hacer compras y comer desde la salida sin salir. La habitación es amplia y el servicio es excelente. Merece la pena alojarse en este hotel.

The concierge team is really resourceful and helpful when we asked about luggage delivery service, thumbs up for their service. Just love everything about the hotel, excellent hospitality, great location, beautiful design, spacious room, comfortable bed and etc. Breakfast with huge selection including some Thai dishes, crispy bacons ever, just amazing. It was really great value for the money, highly recommended!

El trayecto a pie desde la estación de Kioto hasta el hotel Kyoto Ritz-Carlton es de unos 10 minutos, un tiempo razonable. El hotel también ofrece un servicio de transporte que sale cada 20 minutos de 9:00 a 17:00 todos los días. El hotel cuenta con varias habitaciones. Reservamos una habitación doble con una cama, con espacio suficiente para dos maletas de 60 cm. El baño está equipado con bañera, artículos de aseo básicos, secador de pelo y zapatillas. El hotel proporciona botellas de agua; se pueden rellenar en la máquina expendedora antes de la llegada. El hotel también ofrece numerosas instalaciones, como restaurante, tiendas, gimnasio, piscina, salón de banquetes, etc. Vimos muchos turistas de China continental y de Europa/América. Muy recomendable; sin duda volveríamos a alojarnos aquí.

Suitable for those driving. Spacious hotel up on a hill. The common area looks modern but the rooms look abit dated. My teens appreciated the ”retro look” ..the ocean view compensates for the rooms. What we all enjoyed as a family was the onsen & evening bar & snack sessions. There were also some family activities,so it'll be suitable for kids. Perhaps summer might be more things to do. Free parking definitely a plus too.

A huge thank you to Cecilia and Vinnie from the Guest Experience team, who went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and comfortable. Their warmth, attentiveness, and thoughtful gestures made us feel incredibly welcomed. A very special shout-out to Cecilia, who noticed my daughter’s love for Winnie the Pooh after our visit to Disneyland Resort. She prepared a beautiful card, a sweet message, and even a handmade Pooh origami and placed it in our room. It absolutely made our daughter’s day — such a thoughtful touch we will never forget. We also want to commend Yuki from the restaurant team for his warm and wonderful breakfast service each morning. His kindness and attention to detail set the perfect tone to start our day. The Ritz Kids adventure passport was a delightful surprise — engaging not only for our daughter but also enjoyable for us as parents. And of course, we loved the festive Christmas atmosphere, especially the beautiful Christmas tree and the amazing gingerbread house with the incredible aroma that filled the lobby. The Ritz-Carlton Kyoto truly exceeded our expectations in every way. We felt cared for, welcomed, and genuinely appreciated. We can’t wait to return again. Highly recommended for families and anyone seeking an unforgettable Kyoto stay.

La ubicación está al otro lado de las dos ciudades, el camino es hacia ella, muy conveniente. Kyoto no es grande, muy guapo, el hotel va a las atracciones en general es bueno. La recepción, el gestor de salones están en buenas condiciones, el inglés está muy en línea, muy internacionalizado, especialmente contratado por un hermano pequeño europeo y estadounidense, y la comunicación es muy comunicativa. Las instalaciones de la habitación son buenas, y el desayuno es bueno, especialmente la máquina fresca y interesante.

El hotel definitivamente vale la pena por su excelente relación calidad-precio. Aunque la estación de Nishi-in es pequeña, es muy conveniente para ir al Heyuan Hall y a otros lugares. Cerca están Torikizoku, Yoshinoya, 7-Eleven, etc. Camina de Sijo a Sanjo unos cientos de metros y podrás tomar un pequeño tranvía directamente a Arashiyama. Espero que el precio no suba demasiado durante la temporada de hojas de otoño.

Beautiful hotel at the foot of the mountains. Surrounded by many many cherry blossom trees (must be breathtakingly beautiful during that season). The hotel staff are extremely polite, professional and helpful! The room is very spacious, bed is super comfy and bathroom is my favourite. Other facilities such as the spa is awesome too! Will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone and I will definitely want to revise again during blossom season too. Last but not least, the breakfast is great too!
