La habitación del hotel está limpia y ordenada. La reservé al principio porque teníamos que tomar un avión temprano a la mañana siguiente, porque no era conveniente para nosotros vivir con niños. Solo quería encontrar un restaurante cerca del aeropuerto. Cuando Vi el hotel, me llamé Por lo que puedo imaginar, la recepción es muy amable, el hotel está muy limpio, el aislamiento acústico es muy bueno, los camareros son muy educados y lo más importante es que es muy conveniente para abordar el avión. Puedes ir directamente del hotel a la sala de embarque. Realmente creo que es un buen hotel.

Estaba un poco nervioso después de leer algunas críticas negativas, pero al llegar, me llevé una sorpresa increíble. ¡Increíble! Elegimos este hotel al azar como escala en Weifang.
Entorno: Estándar de 4-5 estrellas. El vestíbulo es magnífico. La habitación es grande, con dos camas unidas. Es enorme, ¡perfectamente cómoda para una familia de cuatro! Además, está muy limpia. Si de verdad quieres ser quisquilloso, te conviene alojarte en un hotel de más de 1000 habitaciones.
Servicio: Se ofrecen gachas de avena gratuitas por la noche y yogur de frutas de bienvenida. También hay agua mineral disponible. La recepcionista fue muy amable y simpática.
Restaurantes: El desayuno era increíblemente variado, con unos cien productos, una fusión de cocina china y occidental. Había cuatro o cinco platos con huevos, cinco zumos recién exprimidos y cuatro o cinco opciones de leche de soja y café. También había pasteles de sésamo al estilo de Shandong y tortitas de cebolleta. Los pasteles y el pan estaban deliciosos.
Y lo mejor de todo, hay una piscina estándar de 50 metros en el sótano. Está impecable y abierta a todos los huéspedes. ¡Es increíble! ¡Todo esto por menos de 400! El desayuno para dos adultos y un niño, además de un chapuzón, fue un verdadero lujo. Hay muchos restaurantes cerca. Como viajero de negocios frecuente, era la primera vez que me hospedaba en un hotel de cinco estrellas y podía dormir hasta que me despertaba naturalmente. ¡El servicio brindado por el chico guapo Evan en la recepción fue excelente y muy agradable! La tía Ruby Zang del departamento de limpieza también es muy amable, trabaja con cuidado y concienzuda. Además, el desayuno buffet del hotel es muy rico y delicioso, ¡especialmente el plato de wonton pequeños! El punto clave es que el baño del vestíbulo también está muy limpio. ¡El conserje también es muy amable! Desde el momento en que me registré en el hotel, recibí una atención meticulosa por parte de Liu Ruixue, Mu Weili y Lan Cui. Me sentí cordial y satisfecho. El hotel es un hotel fantástico, especialmente el diseño de estilo Muji, y es limpio y cómodo en general, y la ubicación es excelente – en la playa y rodeado de restaurantes y tiendas de conveniencia.

The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect, and the facilities are among the best in Yantai. The service was also incredibly warm and professional.
We had a special episode during our stay — my son accidentally left one of his shoes in a DiDi taxi, and we were struggling to contact the driver due to the language barrier. Thankfully, staff member Dragon Xu went above and beyond to help us. He communicated with the driver, arranged for the shoe to be retrieved, and even handled all the related details and costs with great care.
That shoe had a very special meaning for our family, and we’re truly grateful for his kindness and dedication. Because of this experience, we’ll definitely stay at the Pullman Yantai Center again with even more fondness next time we visit Yantai.

I stayed at this hotel for my birthday weekend and from check-in to the end of my stay, everything was amazing. The 270-degree room was exactly what I wanted and more. The view was superb and honestly unforgettable.
The birthday touches really made me feel special. I received a cake, fresh fruits, a lion mascot and even the bed sheets were decorated with a “Happy Birthday” message.
This is easily one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in China. Breakfast was excellent with a good mix of Western options and the staff were friendly, helpful and genuinely courteous throughout my stay.
Special thanks to Nora, who checked in to ensure everything was satisfactory and was incredibly helpful from start to finish.
This hotel truly delivers luxury and a premium experience. If you’re visiting Qingdao, it’s an excellent choice and I would definitely stay here again.

this is our 2nd time staying at this hotel. we booked 2 rooms for 4 pax. we tried the chinese restuarant at level2 and dishes were great! recommend anyone staying at weifang to stay at this hotel.

Tuvimos una estancia muy agradable en el Hotel Shangri-La de Qingdao. La habitación era espaciosa, limpia y cómoda, con una cama muy cómoda que nos hizo sentir muy bien descansados durante todo el viaje. El personal fue amable, profesional y atento, siempre dispuesto a ayudar con cualquier solicitud. La ubicación del hotel también es muy conveniente, lo que facilita explorar la ciudad. En general, nuestra experiencia fue maravillosa y realmente mejoró nuestro viaje a Qingdao. ¡Muy recomendable! 🌟

The hotel is pretty and I booked it for 1 night as a luxury treat so I could get a good rest for my layover stop to another destination. My room smelt like stale smoke unfortunately, though I had asked for non-smoking. I paid extra on my booking for breakfast and had to wake up at 6am, eat breakfast at 6.30am and go to the airport at 7.20am. My room had a bathtub so I took a bath before bedtime and went to bed at midnight, I got up to go switch the lamp off at 1am and found this bug crawling up the side of my bed going towards me. I think it's either a tick or a bed bug, the body was full of blood. It had 6 or 8 legs, difficult to see but I took a video which doesn't allow me to upload. I don't have any problems with normal bugs such as spiders, but if it is a tick or bedbug it is a big problem. I was really worried there were more hiding inside the bed, I called reception for help and they looked at the bug which I caught in a glass cup. They apologised deeply and changed my room, so I had to move at 1.30am. I explained I was already tired and have to wake up early. In the new room I was unable to sleep as I kept worrying about bed bugs. I got up multiple times to check my bed. And there was a noisy couple next door talking loudly until very late so I couldn't sleep. For a luxury hotel you should not need to loose a whole night's sleep because you are worried about bedbugs or ticks biting you. Nor should be able to hear noise from other guests through the wall. I was extremely exhausted the next day and did not have any appetite. I asked if they could refund the extra I paid for breakfast because I couldn't eat it, but they said it wasn't possible. So I forced myself to try eat 1 egg and some small rice porridge but couldn't finish it. Really expensive to pay for breakfast and hardly eat, it's a shame they couldn't refund the breakfast considering I had no sleep. For a 5* hotel, I would like to have good rest and peaceful sleep. But it was not like that. The staff were very kind and helpful, but it's not so easy to travel here alone. It was not easy to book a taxi for the following morning to the airport and it took 40 minutes of assistance, the man was very kind and helpful, but the hotel should make an easier system for foreign guests to book taxi. When I first arrived in Jinan airport, I had no idea how to get to the hotel. There is no ATM inside the hotel so you cannot withdraw cash, and you cannot pay with foreign card to book a taxi. The shangri-la website did not provide any details for public transport. It simply said bus transfer was available but did not say which number bus. I would give the details here but I have forgotten the route name and bus number now as it was hectic and I was very tired, sorry. I had to waste a lot of time trying to ask for help at the airport as the staff did not speak English. Luckily someone helped me. The bus will cost 20yuan and take you into the centre where you will see the intercontinental hotel and a large shopping mall on the left side of the bus, get off at that stop, it takes 1 hour. From there it's only 5 minutes walk to shangri-la. For a big hotel they should provide easy instructions on the website to guests.
The staff apologised deeply for the bug on the bed, and offered 10% reduction of the room rate. Although when I checked out no refund was given and they didn't mention anything about it, I think they just charged full price. Personally I think 10% is not enough anyway. Nobody wants to change rooms at 1.30am because of bugs crawling on the bed. I didn't get any sleep at all and felt itchy because I kept thinking about bugs and couldn't eat the breakfast. I was absolutely exhausted the following day so I was unable to do anything at my next destination and had to waste 1 day more to rest. Unfortunately not an easy experience at the shangri-la.

8852 Serendipitous LifeOverall the hotel staff and service are 4 star. What makes the hotel 5 Star are the rooms and facilities. It is clean, safe, and well maintained.
To be fair, I did arrive in early April during the off-season but I was not impressed with the service provided. Staff was consistently difficult to find, or would be crowded all in the lobby. Check-In and Check out was easy and the staff are very nice. International guests be aware, few to no staff speak English or communicate in any other language.
The breakfast was not good. Cold and hard food, empty plates, drinks and foods not being refilled, and then having the lights turned off after breakfast was finished being served. Few selections, mainly cheap foods and breads.
There are no staff outside, during my time there. No bell hops, no one to guide you to the front desk (Because it is not easy to find at first), no one to help with your luggage. A single staff member stands at the front of the lobby after you enter to greet you.
Positives - The room was spacious and very clean. It had most things I needed and the quality of the room and bathroom was excellent. The balcony looked over the courtyard and the ocean which people can see you if you go out but was a nice addition. The island the hotel is on has everything close by and most taxis/Didi’s will pick you up within five minute
The area has been developing for many years and is getting better each year. The Qingdao Beer Festival ground are close by (about 30 minutes drive) during the summer, but most activities are in the city about one hour drive away for the rest of the year.
For this hotel, the room and facilities are the focus as they are well taken care of and maintained. I am not sure if I would return.

İ wanted to order room service after 20.30 they told me no english and hung up on my face. After 10 mins 2 people came to my room telling me they dont have room service, after 20.30 even though the menu said 24 hours.
The next day i tried to order at 16.00 and they told me it starts at 18.30…
the design and the quality of the hotel is maybe the best ive seen in my life but the service is 0/10 … no cola to drink no food to eat .. i would not reccomend if you want to spend a lot of time in it.

UUsuario invitadoThe architecture and interior of this Hotel astounding. The careful and tasteful use of different materials, at the driveway, lobby, 2nd to 4th floor, and in the rooms is classic. The workmanship, to a trained eye, is worth the observation and study. The workmanship was tedious and meticulously performed. The Hotel is grand.
I am happy to say that the grandiose and class of this hotel, old it may be, is matched by the excellent service staff operating the Hotel.
