Really quiet location as it is right on the golf course. Great views over the ocean if you fancy a walk. Rooms have been newly refurbished with natural tones, soft lighting at headboard, comfortable bed with an array of pillows. Central light panel controls all room lighting - have a play! Really good desk space for work options, with desk light for ample lighting and power right there whilst working. No stretching of cords or having to share with the kettle. TV with great reception live TV. Spacious bathroom with toilet, large shower, large mirror and vanity space, 2 power points and sink. Reasonable water pressure and good temperature but could not tell which was hot or cold. Trial and error Breakfast included is good and tasty, basic with eggs, bacon, baked beans, hash browns and fried rice, selection of different toast and banana bread, coffee, tea, juices. Could probably do with some fresh fruit as well as an offering. Nice bush outlook at breakfast and plenty of seating. I had a corner room so my view was not the best - disappointing! The pool is beautiful and the spa is warm, even in the middle of August. I would come back but better view next time as the hotel was not full midweek. I would highly recommend a stay!

Very convenient location as it just 10mins walk to Melbourne central. The rmit university and swanston tram station right in front of the hotel building. Don’t have enough time to enjoy pool and sauna as it opens from 7am-9pm only. The only dissatisfied is I don’t know that the room service is provided. On the 4th night of our stay while we entered the room after one day trip, we realized that the cleaner has actually entered and cleaned our room without asking our permission. Imagine what if our goods have went missing, can the hotel management beared the cost of our loss? Please do not enter the room without inform customer, customer will ask for room cleaning if they really want the service.

Armour is a very nice motel. The service is speedy and friendly. The facilities provide for everything that we need. Cafes and restaurants are nearby.

Aunque la limpieza era buena, la custodia diaria no estaba disponible como se enumeró en su sitio web o su sitio para instalaciones.  Tenemos una respuesta no profesional de un empleado que, a petición, nos dio toallas extras que debido a los salarios y el tiempo del año que no se estaba haciendo la custodia diaria. Nos quedamos dos noches y necesitamos borracha retirada y hojas cambiadas, también toallas nuevas, mat de baño sustituido diariamente. Si queríamos quedarnos en apartamentos de autoservicio, justo lo suficiente, pero nos quedamos en un hotel/resort sin una cocina para lavar nuestros vasos de vino o los vasos, etc.  En el hotel no hay un apartamento con una sola cama, pero hay un baño de baño con una cama de baño.

We scored a room upgrade to a very dusty room that had no soap in either dispenser. It was on the top floor - so elevator took longer so would have preferred our original booked room. Usually very happy when staying here but this room was kinda dirty (bathroom tiles/crevices) and hadn’t been vacuumed along windows so more dust on window sills and behind chair.

The hotel is rather good in terms of location and services. The reception staff was nice and willing to offer help. The only problem was the housekeeping service. Even room cleaning was requested in the morning, the room was still not cleaned after 3:30pm. Also, the housekeeping staff left a bottle of cleaner in the bathroom. The breakfast was quite good. We booked the buffet dinner for one night, but the food was just okay. The oysters were not fresh enough and refill was not prompt.

Habitación muy bonita, suficiente para una familia de cuatro. Está limpio y ordenado, y hay gel de ducha, champú y acondicionador, es una muy buena estancia. Lo que pasa es que la mayoría de los hoteles de Australia no tienen cepillos de dientes, por lo que tendrás que traer el tuyo.

We had a wonderful one-night stay at the RACV Goldfields Resort this past weekend. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful — they really made us feel at home. The resort itself is beautifully maintained, with stunning grounds that are perfect for a peaceful walk or simply taking in the scenery. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout. The facilities are excellent — from the relaxing outdoor areas to the well-equipped amenities, everything felt top-notch. Although our stay was short, it was the perfect little escape, and we left feeling refreshed.

Clean and well maintained facilities. Warm cozy cabin and having ac with heating option was bliss.
