La ubicación está cerca de Owakudani y Hakone-en. Es mucho más limpio que Kowaki-en y Yumoto. Hay una parada de autobús J en la puerta. Unas paradas más adelante está Owakudani y unas pocas paradas detrás están Kojiri y Hakone-en. Es muy conveniente ir y venir. La tienda es propiedad principalmente de amigos taiwaneses, el servicio chino es excelente y las aguas termales son muy buenas. El gerente a cargo, el Sr. Lai, es muy amable y el servicio es muy entusiasta. Me quedé y me empapé durante tres días. Fue cómodo, tranquilo y agradable.

Overall good stay. Place is clean and spacious. In excellent location.  Strict check in time. Did not like design of the bathroom area which comes with steps.  Can be dangerous for elderly or children.

El hotel es barato. Se debe decir que la habitación es muy grande en el hotel japonés. El cuarto es limpio y limpio, las instalaciones están completas, la vista está más abierta y la vida es más cómoda. Debido a que el avión es tarde, el hotel ya está por la mañana, el personal sigue siendo muy entusiasta. Es que el hotel no tiene servicio chino. Si se comunica, necesita un poco de japonés.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. The traditional Japanese room was spacious and super comfy. The onsen facilities were definitely the highlight, way better than I expected for the price we paid. They have 3 types: 1 indoor, 1 outdoor and 1 mixed. All these are bookable throughout the day, from 7am to 11pm and they are completely private. The ryokan is 15 minutes walking from Gora station, so if you arrive by train and you have luggage I recommend you check on google map how to get there with a bus, otherwise you’ll have to walk uphill for a while. The only negative point I can find is probably the breakfast, I tried both western and Japanese style, they are both quite pricy for what they are and I personally did not enjoy the Japanese one. Despite this I would totally come back if I ever visit Hakone again.

April 2025: Got there an hour before check in and was informed that while my tent was ready that I would have to pay 1,000 Yen for the extra hour. I had a hire car so went back into town and came back later. Not the best introduction to the site. Very nice tent, good beds and pillows with a heater for the cold nights. Bathroom facilities were clean. Food very much aimed at local guests rather than foreigners. Note that there is some noise from overhead planes, the railway and motorbikes using the road below. Nothing deafening but it spoils the tranquility. Overall a good experience.

GLOCE’s guesthouse is located extremely close to Zushi Station, making it easy to find. However, be aware that the staircase leading up to the unit can be a bit challenging if you have heavy luggage. The unit itself is very clean, with 1 bathroom and 1 separate WC. It has 2 bedrooms and 2 additional sofa beds in the living room, providing ample sleeping space. The beds are very comfortable, and the blankets are super fluffy. Though we only stayed for 1 night, the unit had everything we needed for a short stay. There’s a supermarket next to the station, along with convenience stores and restaurants nearby, making it very convenient. The next day, we picked up our rental car and continued our journey. Overall, it was a great stay, and I’d highly recommend it!

Excelente albergue en la zona de Hakone-Odawara. El hotel es grande y cuenta con un excelente servicio. El personal viene directamente a usted tan pronto como entre y le pregunta si necesita ayuda. No me quedé más que una noche, pero me lo dio el turno. El hotel ofrece servicio de navegación gratuita a la estación de tren más cercana y también a la estación de Odawara (para acceso al ascensor).

Although it's far from town and amenities, its worth an hour drive to spend a night camping near the spring. The facilities are complete with camp fire, the BBQ facilities and the food are excellent. The dome tent is very clean and toilet are included. We also enjoyed the onsen at the main building. The staff are friendly and attentive, came to help us setup the BBQ grill, explained how to use the room heater. The beef are good, the beer and the night is cold. Thank God for clear sky and we were able to count the stars. This outdoor camping surrounded by nature in a clean unspoiled environment is hard to come by in my country. Love it here.
