A Comfortable, Pet-Friendly Stay with a Few Areas for Improvement The hotel can be difficult to identify when you first arrive because there is no sign directly on the building. Instead, the sign is attached to a gate that usually remains open, so it becomes partially folded and easy to miss. The hotel also does not have on-site parking. Guests park across the street at the restaurant where breakfast is served each morning. Breakfast was traditional Chinese and included steamed buns, sweet potato, a hard-boiled egg, watermelon, tea, and milk. Everything was very tasty. Coffee was also available, but it cost extra. The people looking after the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. When we arrived, they were filling the swimming pool after cleaning it and told us it would be ready later that day. Although the pool was one of the main reasons we booked the hotel, it did not quite meet our cleanliness standards because the deeper areas still appeared slightly cloudy. However, many other guests were comfortable using it, and we saw people enjoying the pool every day. The library area was absolutely gorgeous, but unfortunately, there was a strong smell of mildew that made it difficult to spend much time there. These were the main drawbacks of our stay. Our room, however, was lovely. It smelled fresh, the bed was firm and very comfortable, and the sheets were clean. The staff emptied the rubbish and replenished our drinking water every day. The bathroom products were high quality, and toothbrushes were provided upon arrival. The room would have been even better if there had been enough towels for everyone staying in it and if the water had been slightly hotter. The hotel is located directly beside the river, with access to a peaceful riverside walk through beautiful gardens. There is also an elevated walkway farther down the road that looked interesting, although we did not have the opportunity to explore it. The river area was especially relaxing, and if I return, I would bring folding chairs and a small folding table so we could sit in the shallow water, relax, and play games. Most attractions and restaurants are approximately a 20-minute drive from the hotel. The receptionist tried to help us with maps and itineraries. Unfortunately, even after attempting to find the same hike on three different days, we were unable to locate the trailhead. It seemed that even local residents were not very familiar with the exact route. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is that it is pet-friendly and does not charge an additional pet fee, which was an important reason we chose it. The gentleman at reception also helped us secure a dinner reservation at Naked Ranch, where we had a wonderful evening. Moganshan is a beautiful destination, and overall, this hotel provided a comfortable stay. There is certainly some room for improvement, but I would return because I slept incredibly well and appreciated the warm, helpful service. Thank you again to the staff for all their assistance.

La experiencia de alojarme en el hotel del área panorámica esta vez superó mis expectativas, especialmente tengo que elogiar el servicio de autobús y al hermano Dakang. Como hotel situado en una zona pintoresca, la importancia del servicio de autobús es evidente, y el servicio aquí es absolutamente tranquilizador y reconfortante. El servicio de autobús se envía de manera eficiente y el vehículo siempre llega a tiempo, ya sea que esté viendo el amanecer temprano en la mañana o regresando al hotel tarde en la noche. Lo más inolvidable es el entusiasta servicio brindado por el conductor Dakang. Cada vez que los invitados suben al autobús, los saludará con una sonrisa sincera, les recordará que tengan cuidado en los escalones en los días de lluvia e incluso recordará las paradas que los invitados visitan con frecuencia. No sólo conduce con firmeza. Este servicio humano convierte el autobús mecanizado en un vínculo de calidez. El hermano Dakang añadió un fondo brillante a todo el viaje con su profesionalismo y sinceridad, ¡lo que definitivamente es el escenario más conmovedor de este hotel! Es muy recomendable para todos los viajeros que buscan experiencias detalladas. Creo que esta atención también os sanará. Podrás ser actor de grupo mientras te alojas en el hotel. Es una experiencia muy especial y muy interesante.

We are a couple from the Netherlands and spent 3 nights at this family run B&B.  We were friendly welcomed by granny. Since we were the first and only guests to arrive that day we could pick any room. We chose one room with 2 large beds at the top floor, close to a balcony with laundry basin and drying lines.  While waiting for her daughter Madam Ye and her grandson to come home we were treated homemade tea. Granny also led us through the village to find us a nice little restaurant for lunch.  The B&B is conveniently located in the middle of the village, in a block right accross the main square. On the road accross the square you can find small grocery shops and a few restaurants serving delicious local specialties.  Speaking about local specialties... Madam Ye prepares a delicious Chinese breakfast offering a variety of homemade dishes that go very well with the rice porridge and mantou. Fresh cooked eggs, fermented cucumber and turnip, various kinds of bamboo shoots, deep fried ricecake slices and some special glutinous rice snack called qingtun.  Madam Ye and her son helped us to arrange transport and assisted us with purchasing tickets to the Yunhe Terraces. We were picked up by a driver at 4:30 in the morning so that we could see the sunrise in time. Worried about us not having had breakfast that early, madam Ye got up at 3 am to make us a rich and filling breakfast. Such a kind, polite and hospitable gesture. We felt so bad we hardly had eaten any because we could not have the driver wait for so long. Madam Ye said we were fortunate we picked the correct date for seeing the sunrise above Yunhe Titian. We had an almost clear blue sky that morning. The next day it started raining.... But on that rainy day we were lucky again to witness a local festivity that only takes place once in every 5 or 6 years, where all villagers worship the gods of fortune.  The fireworks, the marching and music we witnessed it all. Indeed we felt lucky 😁 After our last dinner at a local restaurant just around the corner we came back at the B&B and agreed with Madam Ye what time we would have breakfast and what time her son would drive us to the bus station. She again mentioned how lucky we were because that evening a Chinese opera was performing at the local village hall. Together we walked up there and to enjoy some wonderful Chinese opera before walking back to the B&B again after having spent another joyful day at Chongtou village. Please visit this lovely little village in Yunhe County and stay in this lovely little family B&B. The village Chongtou, the Yunhe terraces and this B&B, our lovely little home there, will stay in our memories forever....

This hotel is located in the heart of the main attractions, making it extremely convenient to get around, with several famous sights within walking distance. For travelers, this hotel is undoubtedly a very cost-effective choice. Although the price is affordable, the service and facilities are by no means lacking. There are a wide variety of dining options nearby, or you can visit the pedestrian street not far away, which is very lively at night. The hotel rooms are spacious and bright, with good soundproofing, allowing for a quiet and comfortable sleep every night. The front desk staff are warm and attentive, and the check-in process is quick and efficient. From booking to checkout, the staff provide thoughtful and professional service throughout. The breakfast selection is abundant, and meals can be customized according to personal taste, making you feel truly at home. It was a very satisfying stay!

Diez personas se quedaron cinco días y se sentían bien. Instalaciones: espaciosos y completos. Ambiente: las carreteras de la isla son tranquilas y el aire fresco. A la ventana, el lago se pone en el fondo. Higiene: ambiente limpio en el interior y el exterior, alojamiento cómodo y acogedor. Servicio: ¡Muchas gracias, ¡director! ¡Muchas gracias, el servicio es muy amable y atento, tanto el día como la noche, y con la urgencia, para resolver el problema en tiempo oportuno, vamos a pasar cinco días en el lago de Milli Island.

Instalaciones: El hotel cuenta con una amplia gama de servicios. Suelo alojarme en hoteles y prefiero aquellos con sistema de sonido. Hay gimnasio y piscina. Limpieza: La habitación king con patio estaba bastante infestada de mosquitos en verano, pero se mantenía muy limpia y libre de ellos. Entorno: El entorno es maravilloso, justo a la entrada del parque forestal, con una calidad del aire excelente, perfecto para unas vacaciones. Se admiten mascotas y es un lugar ideal para llevar niños y mascotas (un punto a favor). La piscina también es bastante agradable. Servicio: El servicio es realmente excelente. Aunque tiene 4 estrellas, es igual de bueno, incluso mejor, que el de algunos hoteles de 5 estrellas. El hotel es muy acogedor. Pueden llevar la cena a la habitación e incluso preparan sopa dulce para dar las buenas noches, un detalle muy considerado. La Sra. Yinuo también fue muy amable.

This was such a fun stay and I highly recommend for anyone planning on visiting Hengdian.It's so fun to be in a themed hotel room. I asked for an Eastern style room and it was so gorgeous. I could see the Forbidden City from my room window. It was so nice to be able to enjoy the evening festivities of the Guangzhou/Hong Kong area and then be able to just go straight up to my room to rest right afterwards. You also get the whole place essentially to yourselves for as many daytime photos as you want before the zone is open to the public. You can also get good evening photos after most of the crowd has left. There's even shuttles to help you move about the zone but I didn't need to use it since I was close to the entrance and opted to walk and take in the views when in the zone. There is a WeChat group chat you can join when you arrive where you can ask for help anything related to your stay in the zone. The room was very comfortable and I had a great time. The other scenic zones were just a quick Didi ride away. Highly recommend!

In a nutshell, suitable mostly if you have no other options (or everything that’s affordable is all taken for the night). For me, what struck me the most (or shall I say not surprisingly, but still remarkably true) was the fact that two different staff members of the hotel (aka the two receptionists that did both shifts during my stay) did not speak a word of English! Like, LITERALLY not 1!!! And I know, I know “This is China” and “What do you expect in a 3rd tier city” but still, guys, it’s the 2026 goddammit, not 2006! Like, the city where the hotel is located is virtually the world’s capital of the home appliances trade!!! There are enough foreigners who travel and even reside in the city for every self respecting hotel manager to know better they they must hire an English speaking staff that would (very likely) have some foreign guests too. One more time: no one is expecting a native English speaking level or some PhD academic skills and capabilities, but at least BASIC English skills competency should be a MUST in any developed country, especially China. Brushing it aside, the hotel was OKish (considering the price range). It’s a pain in the ass to check in as a foreigner (it literally too half an hour, being questioned multiple times the most bizarre questions such as “Where are you from?” or “What brings you to YiWu: travel or studying”, “What’s your phone number” (considering the guy had my passport in his hand and I made the reservation online where virtually ALL this information was widely available). Had to take a picture of me twice (mind you, I actually reside in the same city!!!). I just had to move out of my condo for a short while due to construction work taking place there. Anyway, room amenities are ok and had no other hiccups than that. Mind you, you need to deposit/transfer 100 yuan as a “security deposit” which is refundable via WeChat/AliPay transfer upon checking out.
