Highly recommended. Clean, comfortable, type c, fast lightning cable was provided…nice view from the room. Easily accessible by public transport since the location is next to Niigata station (bus, train, taxi, shinkansen) next to cocola mall (inside got 3 coins, eateries, pharmacy, coffee shop, famous udon shop, xebion sports, diors etc), lawson, family mart, 7e.. Walking distance to Donki, Isetan… just name it!

The hotel itself was nice, but the staff at the ski resort was horrible, the rentals are also not well maintained. The boards are not waxed, which makes it difficult to work with as there are a lot of flat routes which are difficult to avoid (Pony and village road were the flattest slope Ive ever seen in my life, I had to unstrap and walk and the board just wouldn't move). Ski resort staff were unfriendly and the rental staff was the worst, there was a lady there that was cold and rude. The only reason why the rental shop is surviving is probably because the equipments are salomon branded and that there is no other option.  I would visit again but only because the routes are fun, Myoko long run was the best, but I would never want to rent from the shop again. The food was very very good. For breakfast, you could choose from western or Japanese buffet. Western buffet is highly recommended, the omelette was the best ive eaten in my life and there was a diy risotto which was great as well. For dinner, there were 4 options, either buffet, steak, Japanese or shabushabu. All requiring reservations which is tough if you are checking in the evening as some might not be available. Highly recommend the steak, the food was good and the staff were amazing. Japanese was the hardest to get a reservation for but the food was quite underwhelming. The room was clean and ski lockers are also provided but it's tiny and can barely fit 2 boards. But I wish that in the toilet in the common area, you can adjust the tap temperature as the water is freezing cold. Amenities wise, bottled water are provided daily, also, yukata was provided but you can only wear them to the onsen which was extremely troublesome as I had to change multiple times a day.  The hotel provides shuttle bus services to and fro jyoetsumyoko station which was easy to book. The bus drivers were also friendly and helped out with the luggage. In summary, for a 5 stars hotel, it didn't live up to expectations, ski resort and rental staffs were unwilling to help and unfriendly. Also, some of the staffs could not speak Japanese which is puzzling for a hotel in Japan. If not for the amazing snow and slopes I would never come back.

El hall es hermoso, tiene servicio de lavapierna, bebidas de la sala de recepción, performances de piano de noche que se requieren para tocar, buses de la luz queda en el campo de minas de Beijing, me gusta la comida de medianoche. La desayuno buffet es muy bueno, me gustan las frutas del mar japonés. Desafortunadamente, el mar japonés está lloviendo desde el calor. Lo siento. Pero quiero volver a hacerlo.

非常好的設計酒店，交通需提前一天讓平台預約衹有越後湯澤旅籠井仙酒店15:15一趟，越後湯澤站對面就是井仙，也是龍言家的酒店，跟工作人員説明後可以在酒店休息等侯，這個接站不是固定的，預約才有，車程約半小時，到酒店後就有高效熱情的接待，我一個人定的基礎房型一泊二食，房間很大很寬敞，酒店是八海山酒業的有形文化材古代農家豪宅改建，設計獲獎，保護歷史和注意周圍環境保護，我非常喜歡，古樸時尚，大廳有茶水小食提供，下午5點有梅酒和清酒提供，現在沒有在房間吃便當的情況了，都是在餐廳吃，晚餐和式，我覺得在這個人均收費裏做得非常用心精緻了，環境優美，服務規範熱情，酒水飲料價格便宜，吃得很開心很滿足，我覺得比扉温泉明神館人均四千加的日式餐廳還好吃，早餐自助，三份主菜選一份，其他的自助，品質優良，口味很好，晚上8:30至9:15有三味線表演，夫婦倆一唱一彈是專業的演員，温泉有大浴場和一個私湯，私湯亮燈可進，但常滿，退房十一點然後交通車又送到越後湯澤站，有了交通車很舒適方便。不足設計師可能是設計店鋪商業的，住宿上有不足，非常漏光，晚上房間燈全關後走廊公區的燈光會透過來，深夜上衞生間都不用開燈，窗户和門隔音不好，下雨屋檐滴水聲很大，好在我備了眼罩耳塞，下雨降温空調暖房設定三十度也不能吹暖和，衹能維持不冷，日本酒店窗簾不遮光常態。總體非常好的酒店。

But the bathroom was tiny with very little space and felt out of place with the rest of the hotel. Bath was very narrow and small Overall: Very good location and modern hotel. Bathroom just stopped it from getting perfect score

I’m giving my honest opinion. This is my first unsatisfied review for a hotel room. I was very disappointed by the room for the price I paid. I paid more for this room than what I paid for luxury upscaled room near Tokyo Disney. The photos online were very deceiving. When I entered my room, it was gross, i cringed, and my toes curled. I didn’t want to put my belongings down. The carpet was old and disgusting. The pull out couch bed was gross. There were stains on the couch back rest and the mattress. The sheet for the mattress was too small it didn’t cover the stained mattress. The beds were hard and didn’t feel clean. The shower curtain had a bad odor. The room was very dated. Since this hotel is pretty secluded and other hotels were booked we had to make do. I’m glad we only stayed one night. On a better note, the staff were very friendly and service was great. Location for skiing was amazing, and the free shuttle bus was fabulous. Naeba Prince Hotel really need to do better with their rooms. I was looking forward to bringing my entire family of 14 to stay a few nights next year, but after seeing the rooms, I will not stay here again unless they renovate their rooms which are in dire need of upgrades.

Siendo sincero, está un poco lejos de la estación, pero es aceptable. Es principalmente para ocupación doble por más de 400 yuanes, con una gran sala con tatami y una sala de aguas termales. ¡¿Para qué más se necesita una bicicleta?! Higiene: El colchón y la colcha no se ven muy limpios.

La habitación era limpia y espaciosa con una cama de futon confortable. Si no reservas su especial cena/desayuno, puedes hacerlo con 2 días de orden avanzado sobre el escritorio delantero. Definitivamente quedarse aquí otra vez si alguna vez regresa en la zona 🫶🏼

Mi esposa y yo hemos tenido un 3-night estancia en este Toyoko Inn Joetsu Myok Eli Nishi Gucci Room #1306 del 13 al 16 de octubre de 2025. El hotel está situado en el primer piso de la estación de Joetsumyoko, a sólo 1-minute a pie de la estación de Joetsumyoko. El hotel es el tipo típico de hotel, por lo que es pequeño pero muy limpio. La cama y las pijamas son cómodas para nuestro gusto, y el pequeño baño - otra vez el típico tipo japonés - es limpio y tiene una fuerte presión de agua para una cómoda ducha. El hotel ofrece desayunos de estilos de cocina de casas simples, variaciones limitadas, pero es muy cómodo que da un buen comienzo al día. En SGD S$97 por noche con desayuno, encontramos valor por dinero y optaremos por permanecer aquí si viajamos a Joetsu o Myoko otra vez.

My wife and I visited this onsen resort in 2023 and we loved it. My wife especially likes the many onsens they have. We have always wanted to come here again and finally did after 3 years. Like three years ago, the room and facilities are very clean and well maintained everything just as they were. One thing did change and we are quite upset about it, is that the staff is not as enthusiastic as they were (there are some familiar faces, many new ones). I still recommend this place to everyone, Futaba is still the best compared to the other two onsen resorts we’ve visited in between. Hope they can figure out some way to motivate the staff and offer a better experience to guests.
