It was clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and even showed us how to use the electric stove. The bathroom and kitchen were both spotless.

Overall was a very nice experience, service was good, upon check in was surprised to received a free room upgrade from a garden view room to a scenic lake and mountains views room, however a little disappointed surprised for the hotel informed about not a free parking for our vehicle to park overnight at the Hotel’s carpark 😐

La ubicación es excelente, muy cerca de las principales atracciones, a 10 minutos a pie. Se puede aparcar gratis en la calle de 18:00 a 09:00. Fuera de ese horario, cuesta 3,5 dólares la hora por un máximo de 2 horas, lo que es mucho más barato que aparcar en el centro de Auckland. La cama de la habitación era demasiado blanda para mi gusto.

I recently stayed at Scenic Hotel Southern Cross and had a very pleasant experience. One of the biggest highlights of this hotel is its excellent location – it's within walking distance to many of Dunedin's main attractions, including the Railway Station, Baldwin Street (the world’s steepest street), and Queen’s Gardens. Whether you're in town for sightseeing or just want convenient access to key places, this hotel is ideally situated. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient, and the staff were warm and welcoming, making the entire stay hassle-free. The room was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to relax after a day of exploring the city. Another plus is the on-site hotel parking, which is a great convenience, especially in a central location like this. Overall, I’d recommend Scenic Hotel Southern Cross for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel in Dunedin with friendly service and all the essentials covered.

Over all the room was clean and the bed comfy Short on tea bags and outside light stays on all night that needs a sensor light or a black out curtain on the door  Toilet seat is loose but everything was clean the service staff do a fantastic job thanks  Over all we gave it a 8 /10

Servicio chino, servicio cuidadoso y entusiasta, el coche se encuentra con un problema, el dueño de la tienda siempre ha ayudado a comunicar con el teléfono, ¡muy gracias! La habitación está limpia, higiénico, tiene su propio jardín, estacionamiento conveniente, el coche está estacionado en la puerta de la habitación, el hotel está en el borde de la carretera principal, y está cómodo entrar y salir. Este es un buen hotel de autos, ¡recomendado para quedarse!

酒店環境特別好，老闆娘是一位中國姐姐，特別好，還給我牛奶，這裏很安靜，而且離景區很近，十米的地方有個麥當勞和加油站，100米的地方有一個炸魚薯條也是國人開的很好吃但不友善，總之酒店很乾凈衞生，地理位置好，方便快捷，停車很方便

Great stay! The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the location was perfect. I would definitely stay here again.

Location: The hotel is located close to the Queenstown airport but approximately 15 mins away from Queenstown itself. Parking: There is no parking bays at the Hilton (only valet) itself but it shares with Doubletree which is limited. Due to some maintenance work, level P2 was closed off and had to park in a reserved slot for the night. Cost of parking is NZ$ 16 per night. Rooms: This is where my issue lies, the room temp is centrally managed and it was freezing at night especially with the floor to ceiling windows. Had to go to the front desk for portable heater and extra blankets on the 1st night. Bathroom is non-heated (with tiled floors) so extra cold in there. In most places we stayed in NZ, the bathrooms had heated lamps overhead for comfort. I requested the accessible room for mom and it was provided as requested although the location of the room was on one end of the building which is a distance to walk. Food: Breakfast was a good selection and ran from 630 to 1030am.
