Nos alojamos 3 noches y cada día vaciaban las papeleras y nos proporcionaban toallas limpias. El espacio extra debajo de la cama para las maletas es un detalle genial y, en general, el diseño de la habitación es excelente. Había varios grupos turísticos alojados durante los 3 días, lo que hizo que estuviera un poco concurrido, especialmente a la hora del desayuno, ya que todos los huéspedes iban a la vez. Staff were nice, a couple of them speaks English well. Our twin room with sofa bed was adequate. Sofa bed has seen better times n can feel the springs, not for someone who is on heavy side. Location of hotel is good. We love the hair dryer, Refa brand, top notch. Parking cost ¥1000 per night. Just behind is the shopping street and ard 15 mins walk is a big shopping mall, Sakura Machi. Kumamoto Castle can be seen opposite the hotel but if walking is still not so near. We decided to check out of hotel and drove to the castle. There are a few parking lots near to the castle but some need to walk longer.

The hotel is very near JR Kumamoto Station, which makes it convenient for travel. The room was large enough for three people, and the sofa was converted into a comfortable bed. Daily housekeeping is not included, but fresh towels and floor mats were provided in a paper bag hung on the door. There was a small holding area before entering the room to keep shoes and hang clothes, which added privacy since one of the beds faced the main door. The hotel also has a chapel inside (for weddings), and there are ample public car park spaces around if you drive. Overall, I would recommend staying here as it is comfortable and clean.

Fue muy cómodo. Nunca imaginé reservar un hotel de cinco estrellas cerca de la estación de Kumamoto por poco más de 3000. El ambiente era limpio y bonito, y el servicio excelente. The staff is friendly and provide good service. The bath house is normal, but can tell its age. I feel the room is very dusty, it’s making my hand itchy and nose sneezy all the time. The bathroom is also old with water marks and mould. I am a fan of Dormy Inn and have stayed in Dormy Inn branches at Aomori, Hachinohe, Tokyo, and Osaka before, but this Kumamoto branch has the most room for improvement. The hotel is in walkable distance to the castle, so it is great.

Solid hotel. Close to the airport, decent facilities, quiet atmosphere and nice service. I recommend trying the hot springs. Bring a towel there with you!
