I like this hotel. I've stayed here for 2 times. They provide a free transfer from and to Railway station and a city centre. Very good onsen with a scenic view on Sakurajima. You can also rent a bike here in the hotel for a reasonable price. Convenience store is right by the hotel.

客室に生花があるのが珍しいです。ホテルの大浴場ですが、男性の方は改装したようでとても清潔です。ただぢ、夜は23時に終わってしまうので、もう少し遅く営業して欲しいです。夕食を館内のレストランで刺身定食をいただきました。ボリュームも味も良かったのですが、肝心の刺身が小さくて残念でした。朝食ですが、さつま揚げ、カルパッチョが絶品です。カルパッチョは夕食以上に大きな刺身でした。ここの朝食はグレードが高いと思います。

가고시마 중앙역에서 도보로 5-6분 거리에 있으며 접근성은 매우 좋았다, 공항버스터미널도 5분 거리인 점을 가만하면 접근성은 최고입니다. 직원들도 친절하며 청결도도 준수한 편입니다. 조식은 매일 거의 같은 음식이 제공되는 점은 인쉬웠으며 현재 호텔의 외벽 공사중이여서 전 객실의 전망이 좋지 않다. 호텔에 처음 들어와 커튼을 걷었는데 창 바로 앞에 공사하는 인부의 모습이 보여 깜짝 놀랐다. 기차소음이 심하며 최악은 와이파이가 거의 있으나마나 할 정도의 속도와 잦은 끊김현상은 매우 짜증나게 만들었다.

It was very easy to get to from the train station using the tram. The room was as advertised and the bathroom was little but very functional, it's always fun to see how well they use the space in Japan! It is very close to the terminal passenger ferry as well. We stayed 2 nights !

So surprise the entrance of hotel is inside the station. This is even nearer than JR hotel at Oita. So convenient!! Their breakfast is good too but a bit expensive at 1980 yen which is same at Oita. With lots of eating places around and of course the ferry wheel not to be missed. Got the CUTE pass at tourist centre to take bus to City Aquarium / port for ferry to Sakurashima to view volcano. Spent around 4h from hotel and back to port for the trip only as we didn’t stop at all bus stations in the Sakurashima. Glad to try the longest leg bath there. Watched few mins of free dolphin show at the canal of the port too. Took tram back to hotel to rest. Then went for ferry wheel and took bus to tenmonkan to visit donki. Back to kagoshimachuo for dinner at 7pm and rested for the day. Really very super convenient place / city. By the way only 2 washer and 2 dryer in the hotel North Wing, so if you need to do laundry do plan else long queue.

Hotel Kyocera is probably one of the largest hotel in Kirishima. It has two buildings ( main and annex) and looks quite good architecturally. They are connected by a bridge on the 3 floor which has the walking escalator- and a display of the various places that have been listed as world heritage sites in Japan. Inside the main building, there is a glass church which is ideal for weddings. In the basement, there is a large onsen, and spa. It is certainly a good place for having a holiday. The overall condition of the rooms are good- and the rooms are of good size. My room faces the East and has a perfect view of sunrise! I had a pleasant stay at Art Hotel Kagoshima. The hotel offers a beautiful view of Sakurajima, especially from the rooms facing the bay — waking up to that scenery was truly memorable. The staff were friendly, polite, and helpful throughout my stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the overall service felt professional and efficient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a short stay. The bed was cozy, and the room layout made good use of space. Breakfast was enjoyable, with a nice selection of Japanese and Western dishes, and the restaurant had a lovely view as well. The hotel’s location is convenient — just a short drive from the city center and ferry terminal. Overall, Art Hotel Kagoshima is a great choice for travelers looking for comfort, good value, and beautiful views of Sakurajima. I would be happy to stay here again.

La estación de Kagoshima-chuo estaba muy lejos para caminar. Tengo que tomar el autobús. Primera ciudad de Japón que no podía usar mi tarjeta SUICA en los autobuses. Asegúrese de que tuvieras un pequeño cambio. Sin embargo, se encuentra a sólo 10 minutos a pie de la calle Tenmonkan, el área de compras/comedor de Kagoshima. La cocina es agradable si quieres hacer tu propia cocina. Hay una máquina de venta en el cuarto piso con cerveza y vodka en las rocas. También hay 2 lavanderías y secadoras - uno en el tercer piso y el otro en el techo. El techo tenía un secador de gas que es mucho mejor en la secador de ropa.

首先交通非常方便，在日本玩就應該選擇距離車站近的，酒店離鹿兒島中央車站步行2分鐘，酒店周圍很多好吃好逛的店鋪和大賣場，酒店本身環境也很不錯，高於一般的連鎖酒店水平，早餐雖簡單，但總體味道不錯。這次分別住了四晚二種房型，總體都相當滿意

Pros: The hotel locates near the west exit of Kagoshima Central Station. It takes less than 3 minutes walk to get there from the station. However it would take 8-10 minutes walk to reach the airport bus terminal which is close to the east gate of the station. Space of a double room is satisfactory and average in Japan. Cons: Breakfast is very simple so we just ignore the breakfast on the the third day. No USB sockets in the room. One should not expect much facilities and services with reference to the price.
