El hotel está ubicado en una excelente ubicación, ubicado al lado de la estación de Kanazawa, las atracciones también son 1 muy conveniente, solo la habitación está un poco deteriorada, pero la relación calidad-precio es bastante alta, siempre es un hotel de cinco estrellas, para viajar a Kanazawa. ¿Puedes considerar quedarte aquí?

Rooms (3/5): For a family of 3 the room was relatively spacious and had no trouble handling us and our luggage. There is a decent amount of wall plugs with 2 in the room and a third in the seating area. They also give an extension cable with 2 sockets and 2 usb ports. The toilet is spacious and the bath is decent in size. Overall atmosphere of the room was calm and relaxing. Service (4/5): Service was exceptional, the receptionist introduced the hotel to us well and they had several pamphlet guides from how to wear a yukata to how to behave in an onsen and several others which was nice to havw. When leaving the onsen by car, they also wave until you are out of sight which is a small cherry on the top. Facilities (4/5): They have 2 onsens, mens and ladies which alternate daily. I only had the joy of trying one of them which was lovely and had a small cold bath outside which is a plus in my book. In the mainlobby they also have free flow non alcoholic drinks through a dispenser, having hot drinks like tea and coffee and cold calpis, coke, sprite, orange juice and water. Had a nice time after the onsen grabbing something sweet and cold then sitting in the lounge to cool off. Food (3/5): The dinner was lovely. They served a variety of food with the steamed horse mackeral standing out (this is coming from a person who does not like fish that is cooked besides when its battered). The seaweed and miso based paste also went lovely with the rice. Breakfast was also decent but nothing outstanding besides the pudding at the end. Overall 3.5/5: If you want to be out of the hustle and bustle of the city and just really want to kick back and relax this is the place to be. For me, this Ryokan is worth visiting again if I ever pass by. Nothing extremely exceptional but overall enjoyable experience.

La recepción, el servicio de conserjería y las instalaciones de las habitaciones son muy buenas. Hay mucho café en cápsulas UCC, té local y agua mineral para preparar té. El desayuno es muy rico y regularmente hay comidas especiales. Es muy bueno si no puedes comer lo suficiente por la mañana. Si te quedas un día consecutivo sin limpiar, recibirás un vale de 1.000 yenes, que podrás utilizar para gastos de hotel, especialmente para el desayuno. La ubicación está a solo 6 minutos de la parada de autobús y hay muchas comidas deliciosas en el mercado de Omicho. En definitiva, se trata de un hotel japonés que deja una profunda impresión.

¡Nos encantó nuestra estancia en el Hotel Nikko Kanazawa! Desde nuestra llegada, el personal se esmeró en hacer que nuestra visita fuera realmente excepcional. Su hospitalidad fue cálida y profesional, garantizando una experiencia cómoda y sin contratiempos durante toda nuestra estancia. Las habitaciones eran increíblemente espaciosas y estaban bellamente diseñadas, ofreciendo un nivel de comodidad que realmente distingue a este hotel. Cada detalle de la habitación estaba cuidadosamente diseñado, haciéndonos sentir como en casa. Una de las mejores características del hotel es su ubicación privilegiada, justo al lado de la estación de Kanazawa. Esto lo hizo increíblemente conveniente para explorar la ciudad, acceder al transporte público y disfrutar de las tiendas y restaurantes cercanos. Este hotel se ha convertido fácilmente en uno de nuestros favoritos de siempre, y estamos deseando volver a alojarnos aquí. ¡Muy recomendable para cualquiera que visite Kanazawa!

This hotel is clearly showing its age and may not meet expectations for those looking for a more modern or well-maintained stay. While it carries the IHG branding, the overall experience feels dated. One of the main challenges was communication. The front desk staff had very limited English proficiency, making it difficult to get clear directions—especially regarding parking. Guests are required to go to the front desk to ask about parking arrangements, which is not very convenient. The signage outside is also misleading, and it’s easy to mistakenly park at a nearby open-air lot that charges ¥100 per 15 minutes or ¥1000 for 12 hours. The hotel’s designated parking is actually located in a shopping mall, which is not immediately obvious. The rooms themselves are quite old, with worn facilities. The bathroom had a noticeable musty smell, suggesting poor ventilation or maintenance. Amenities were basic—Dove toiletries were provided instead of the more commonly seen Pola brand in Japanese hotels. The air conditioning was also ineffective, which made the stay less comfortable. That said, the hotel does have one strong advantage: location. It is directly opposite Ōmichō Market, making it very convenient for exploring the market and enjoying a great local breakfast. Overall, this hotel may be suitable for travelers who prioritize location over comfort, but those expecting a smoother and more modern stay might want to consider other options.

Very nice and quiet, the onsen was so good with very peaceful scenes. The food and services were up to standard as expected.

Las instalaciones estaban limpias y ordenadas, y sin duda me alojaría de nuevo si tuviera la oportunidad. Sin embargo, al hacer la reserva, solicité una habitación tranquila, y al registrarme me dijeron que ya habían preparado una, pero era una habitación completamente diferente. No sé qué era, pero había un ruido constante, quizá del aire acondicionado, que me impedía dormir (me despertaba), incluso en mitad de la noche o de madrugada. Además, el ruido de los niños corriendo por los pasillos, gritando y dando portazos era terrible. Quería relajarme, pero no pude dormir. Fue una verdadera decepción.

For a family of 4, I have zero complains. Reasonable rates! There were 4 super single beds and the room is so spacious. They had complimentary drinks from 11am-8pm! Best part, they’re right next to the JR station and bus terminal. There are also 2 nearby malls which is totally awesome. Everywhere’s so accessible..

The hotel is old and the room is clean but not well cleaned especially the corners of the room. The room is old and dull and the toilet smells bad. The balcony is covered with bamboo screen which make hard to see the outside. We can see the balcony is not well cleaned and the rooftop of the building is not well cleaned, too. If they clean the balcony and rooftop it will make a big difference. The fence at the balcony is worn out if they repainted it,it will be very beautiful seeing from the inside. I dont care if the building is old but they should keep it well cleaned and more presentable and im sure people will come again. The food is good and the bathing facilities is also good but its too hot no air at all, i didnt stay long because i cant breath i wish they open the window for fresh air to come. the atmosphere from the window the dried mold of the rooftop and the worn out of the balcony fence should be fix.The place is very quiet and you can really relax.The main entrance and ground floor is renovated and its nice and modern. The service is good too but the clerks are not lively they should be more cheerful. If the room is not dull and the balcony and rooftop is clean i want to stay again but sorry i wont stay here again. El hotel está situado justo al lado de la estación JR de Kanazawa. Reservamos una habitación para 2 personas x2 con desayuno. El precio es muy bueno en relación calidad-precio. Aunque la habitación es un poco pequeña, todo está bien equipado. La habitación está limpia, es cómoda, el baño está limpio y equipado con los elementos necesarios. De hecho, estamos muy contentos de alojarnos en este hotel, ya que su servicio es muy bueno. El hecho de que la habitación sea más pequeña no es un problema, como es comprensible en Japón. Aun así, dormimos bien y con comodidad. El factor más importante es que este hotel está situado justo al lado de la estación JR, lo que resulta MUY CÓMODO para realizar cualquier deporte turístico en Kanazawa en autobús o tren. Recomiendo encarecidamente este hotel a quienes vengan con personas mayores o niños. El personal de recepción del hotel es amable y servicial. ¡Un visto bueno! Tenga en cuenta que el aire acondicionado durante nuestro período de viaje (principios de marzo de 2024) lo controla el hotel principal, solo se mantiene caliente (como calentador) ya que afuera hace mucho frío. No se puede ajustar durante este período. Solo abrimos la ventana si hace demasiado calor en la habitación para que circule el aire. El desayuno es bueno. Preferimos el cerdo asado como plato principal del desayuno porque nos pareció delicioso. Otras guarniciones del desayuno son estilo bufé con pan normal y comida japonesa, que también está buena.
