I cannot recommend this hotel enough! It's attached to the mall in the Akita JR station and is sandwiched between a 7/11 convenience store and a Starbucks coffee! Also excellent food joints nearby includiing an awesome noodles joint 1min walk. The room was bigger than standard rooms at Japanese hotels and the reception crew was friendly and attentive. I had stores my bags in the morning and went back in the afternoon to check in and the staff had already brought it to my room- lovely attention to details. I think I will come to Akita again just to stay at this hotel as it was amazing

El Hotel Kamenoi está ubicado en la montaña y es uno de los pocos establecimientos en funcionamiento en la zona. Sus instalaciones son muy amplias. Optamos por un paquete de media pensión, que ofrecía una buena relación calidad-precio. Además, como de costumbre, por la noche sirven ramen de cortesía, lo cual es perfecto para los niños en crecimiento. Nos alojamos en una habitación tipo suite que contaba con camas dobles de estilo occidental y tatamis japoneses. La habitación era muy amplia y espaciosa. El agua de los grifos del hotel es agua potable de la montaña, con un sabor fresco, dulce y muy agradable al paladar. Nos encantó. Además, me di un baño en el onsen exterior en medio de la niebla, una experiencia fantástica.

社会人軟式野球大会の応援で3泊しました 駐車場がホテルの前に7台くらいあり先着順ですがとても便利です 道路を渡ったところにも駐車場がありました 飲食店やコンビニも近く立地はとても良いです 秋田駅まではタクシーで１０分くらいです 夜鳴きラーメンのサービスもあり無料でペットボトルのジュースももらえました 部屋も綺麗で快適でとても良いホテルでした

Fuimos de Kakunodate al lago Tazawa. Como íbamos a hacer turismo en el lago Tazawa, primero fuimos al hotel para dejar nuestro equipaje. En recepción nos dijeron que ya habían limpiado la habitación y nos dejaron registrarnos primero. ¡La actitud fue realmente buena! También nos explicaron la ruta y el horario del autobús hasta Tazawako, así como el horario del autobús que debemos tener en cuenta al regresar. ¡Muchas gracias! Después de visitar el lago Tazawa, me di un baño en las aguas termales del hotel ♨️, ¡que estaban limpias e higiénicas! Por la noche tuvimos un bufé y había sobre todo turistas japoneses mayores, así como un grupo de turistas de Taiwán. ¡Todos eran muy exigentes con los modales y la cortesía a la hora de comer! ¡Al día siguiente, después del check out, hay un autobús gratuito a la estación de Tazawako! Durante el viaje, mi pequeña hija dejó su teléfono celular en el autobús. ¡El conductor revisó el auto y me lo trajo de inmediato! Mi pequeña hija no se dio cuenta de que había olvidado su teléfono. ¡Quiero agradecerle mucho al conductor! ¡Pulgares arriba por su conocimiento del servicio!👍

Good location and convenient with just 5 mins from JR station. There is convenient store, 7-11, on the first floor. Room is clean. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Good facilities and free uses of onsen and sauna rooms.

It is an old hotel opposite of ANA Crowne hotel. The location is great nearby the train station as well as the bus terminal. Very near to shopping area as well as restaurants. There is a big Lawson nearby where they carry a lot of things in this store. The only thing is that upon arrival the centralised aircon was set on warm mode that we can not changed. Luckily the window can be opened.

The hotel has a very good location. Although not immediately next to the JR station, it's a short and easy walk to get to the hotel from Akita Station. When you see the Museum of Art in the photo, you are arriving. Also, the famous Senshū Park is just across from the street. It's a grand hotel with nice rooms. The staff are friendly and professional. It's not far from the bar district. There are many interesting bars over there. After a couple of drinks, you can just walk back to the hotel.

We stayed two nights. It was a great experience. Room itself is good, bed is comfortable. Got onsen and free half portion of ramen and rice after 7:30pm, which is a bonus. Ramen is delicious. However, service for a part-time staff (a girl) was bad! This is the first time we experienced such bad service in Japan. First, her greeting was mean and rude, with no smile on her face and kind of ignoring the customer. Second, after we got the room key and get ready to take the elevator, we didn't know the way. She just kept ignoring us which a normal staff would show you the way to the elevator right after finished check-in. Lastly, after we entered into the room, we found out that the toilet seat was loosen. So we went down to the lobby to tell her about these. She was so unhelpful that she did not even want to come up to our room to see what happen, but just tild us to use the toilet in the lobby instead! At the end, luckily there was another senior full time staff just on duty, we told him about this, and he immediately went up to our room to see what happen. Will give this senior staff a 5 star. So other than that part-time staff (girl), all were pretty good.

Servicio: el servicio fue uno de los mejores y más hospitalarios que he conocido en Japón. Ubicación: se encuentra a solo 5 minutos a pie de la estación Yuze Onsen JR (aunque es una línea local con trenes no muy frecuentes, alrededor de 3-4 al día). Sin embargo, tienen un servicio de transporte para cubrir esos 2 minutos en coche. Cena: la comida estaba bien presentada y deliciosa. onsen: hay 2 onsens, uno en el interior y otro al aire libre en la nieve. eran cómodas (aunque no tenían una vista fantástica, pero hace su trabajo). la temperatura era la adecuada y casi teníamos todo para nosotros.

La habitación es espaciosa y el baño, pero un poco viejo y polvo. Muy lejos de la estación de Odate, así que tendrá que atrapar un autobús o prepararse para un paseo 20-30 min. Personal útil que nos guió donde atrapar autobuses.
