«It is just about 500 meters from the ACC market and about 900 meters from the main Savalalo market. So, location is good. The setup of the hotel is nice. It has a Ruby's burger shop within the premises, but it was closed on Sunday. Room was neat & clean with aircon and fan. 4 pillows, 2 towels, 2 blankets, 4 coffee shacets (3-in-1 mix), a kettle, and a small fridge, all these add up to great facilities inside the room. The receptionist Oma is a friendly lady and can help you with some information & cab booking requests.»

«Amazing staff, great location, had all the amenities we needed for a 6-nights stay. Our only complaint is the food for breakfast- it was so tasteless and one of us got food poisoning.»

«El hotel me encantó, tienen cuidado y limpio hasta el último detalle, además de una estupenda piscina. El hall del hotel es precioso y lo tienen decorado como en los años 20 del siglo pasado, es un lugar agradable para pasar el tiempo leyendo o consultando el teléfono. La ubicación es perfecta si dispones de coche de alquiler; en caso de no disponer de coche, dependes de caminar unos 20 minutos o pedir un taxi para ir al centro de la ciudad por lo que a este apartado le pongo sólo un 3. Destacar el desayuno que incluyen con la estancia, estupendo y cuidando la presentación. Yo me aloje en una de las cabañas, y me encanto la experiencia, pero hay que tener claro que te tiene que gustar ya que no disfrutarás de las mismas comodidades de una habitación y de que el baño y duchas son compartidos (aunque muy limpios y cómodos). Si no tienes claro esto, o si vas en pareja, quizá elegir una habitación sea mejor opción que alojarte en una cabaña. Añadir que me ayudaron con la reserva de la lanzadera para el aeropuerto y en todo momento el trato con el personal fue muy agradable.»

The only little concern was the noise from the car wash next door. Overall the owner and staff were welcoming and hospitable!!! Thank you for being a wonderful host, excellent!!!»

«I arrived at 2am from a late flight and checked in. The room looked relatively clean but there was an ambient smell of sweat/BO. I went to have a shower and at 2:30 discovered that the hot water barely worked. I was there 2 more nights and the hot water worked then, so maybe they switch it off or turn it down late at night but either way it’s something to be aware of. When I went to sleep I discovered that the ambient smell was coming from the pillows. They smelled absolutely disgusting. I had to put a polyester swimming shirt over the one I was using to block the smell out. This meant I could no longer use that shirt because it was soiled. When the housekeeping came to make up my room the next day, they took away the used towels and did not replace them. I was staying in a room meant for 2 people but I was only 1 person so maybe that’s why they felt justified in only giving me half as many towels. I called the front desk to see if I could get more and they seemed really reluctant to give me more. They said we will pass it on to housekeeping who will pass it onto laundry who might be able to give me more towels. When I asked how long that would take they wouldn’t say. They eventually gave me one more floor towel, and no extra bath towels as I had requested. This was disappointing. Lastly, there were a few small flies in the bathroom, and the breakfast was decent but not exceptional. I am not sure what other hotels in Samoa are like, but this one was not very good. I was unaware before arriving how hot and humid it is, and it is unsurprising that previous guests would return to their rooms extremely sweaty after being outside, however more needs to be done to address the effects of this. The pillows and bed linens need to be thrown away and replaced much more frequently. The location is excellent, being close to town, but I would try to go elsewhere next time. I did see lizards and a giant crab around the grounds though which I liked. It does seem that this hotel is really popular with other foreigners such as sports people, flight attendants, and retired couples, so perhaps my experience was an outlier. Yours may be different, but mine was not ideal.»

«It’s a average place,restaurants was okay,looks like it’s still trying to find its place,except more from this place as its been open for just about 12mouths now,hard to get food apart from the restaurant there,that’s very big but empty 🧐 needs a lot more hospitality experience in staffing, its cheap but can do a lot better»

«My stay at Sinalei Reef Resort & Spa was absolutely amazing. The place is so beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by lush tropical plants that make you feel completely connected to nature. Everywhere I looked, there was greenery, colorful flowers, and the calming sound of the ocean , it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and respectful. They always greeted us with warm smiles and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. You can really feel how much they care about their guests. Every Wednesday night they host a Fiafia Night. The resort also offers some great tours, including an Apia Town tour, a Savaii island tour, and a South East Coast tour. We went on the South East Coast tour and got to see the To Sua Ocean Trench. Overall, Sinalei Resort & Spa is the perfect getaway for us looking for beauty, tranquility, and authentic Samoan hospitality. I can’t wait to go back!»
