En un día despejado, ¡el Monte Fuji prácticamente llena toda la ventana! Si quieres vivir esa experiencia, ¡este es el lugar ideal! Ubicación: Está a 1,5 km de la estación de Kawaguchiko. Fui caminando, arrastrando mi maleta. Hay una tienda de conveniencia y un pequeño restaurante de ramen a unos 200 metros. Puedes alquilar bicicletas a unos 20 metros en diagonal frente al hotel (¡no alquiles una deportiva, te dolerá el trasero!). Está a unos 300 metros del río, lo cual es bastante conveniente (para mí, todo a menos de un kilómetro es conveniente, jaja). Instalaciones: Hay dos jacuzzis, uno arriba y otro abajo. Para ser sincera, no son muy grandes ni impresionantes. No hay sauna. El hotel combina elementos nuevos y antiguos, pero tiene todo lo necesario. Limpieza: La habitación tenía un olor extraño... Un olor peculiar, un poco desagradable; recomiendo dormir con la ventana abierta. El resto de la habitación estaba bastante limpio, sin rincones antihigiénicos. Servicio: La recepcionista era una joven muy guapa y enérgica que nos recibió de maravilla. Comida: La cena es fundamental para una estancia de dos noches con dos comidas. Me alojé dos noches, así que fueron cuatro comidas. En general, la comida tenía buena pinta, pero para los que somos exigentes con la comida, le faltaba sabor. El servicio del restaurante estuvo bien, aunque mi cerveza tardó muchísimo en llegar, jaja. En conclusión, espero que añadan una sauna en el futuro (lleva abierto décadas y no creo que la añadan solo por mi reseña, jaja). Quizá añadan más, pero no es nada del otro mundo, y sigo pensando que es caro para lo que ofrece.

I stayed at Fujisan Station Hotel and found it quite convenient overall. The location is excellent, just across from Mt. Fuji Station, making it very easy to get around. Check-in was done with the staff and went smoothly. Free parking is available, which is a plus. There is no onsen and no complimentary bottled water, but there is a free ice machine in the dining area, along with vending machines for snacks and drinks. The water faucet is an old-style rotary type. Breakfast starts at 7:00 AM, but food runs out quickly due to the large number of guests. The buffet includes scrambled eggs, grilled mackerel, rice, miso soup, salad, fresh milk, and granola. The small bread rolls and mini croissants were not very good. The twin room was clean, but the beds were quite firm and not very comfortable.

It was definitely an enjoyable and worthy experience of traditional ryokan with tatami and futon with the best view of Mt. Fuji from the room window! The hotel itself overlooks parts of Mt. Fuji with Lake Kawaguchiko, and we even added on dinner and breakfast during the stay! They are simply one of the best meals during the trips in Tokyo! The onsen is another bonus to enjoy while seeing the view of Mt Fuji, even though it is public hot spring which might be a culture shock. Definitely worth to try it out again to enjoy the traditional Japan vibes around Lake Kawaguchiko.

I booked this hotel because the promotion made it seem luxurious, but the surroundings feel odd, almost like all the trees have been removed by purpose, littered with dry leaves and fallen branches. It feels dirty and poorly cared for. I was expecting a neatly landscaped area with grass and trees, but instead, the outside feels like a barren, lifeless space. That said, the inside of the room looks very good. The accommodation consists of two separate large caravan‑style rooms. They are not very spacious, but they are sufficient for a family of four. One of the rooms has slightly less living space because it includes a larger bathroom, with a full‑size bathtub. This is something you rarely find in Tokyo, where most bathtubs are quite small, so this was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, we struggled with the bathtub controls as it was written in Japanese, we couldn't use it after all. Also, the heating system are all labeled in Japanese, and there were no clear instructions in English. As a result, we didn’t figure out how to use the heating until the second night. We stayed for two nights in total. There is an outdoor spa area, which is interesting and enjoyable. We used it and found it quite good, although it is small. It works best for two people, three is a tight squeeze, and four would be uncomfortable. The sauna is decent and operates daily. Breakfast is served at set times rather than as a buffet, likely because the hotel only has 14 rooms. Guests must choose a time slot, such as 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, 8:30. We chose 8:30. Breakfast is a set menu rather than self‑service. Each morning includes a starter, a main dish, and some small item to finish, well enough for us. The first day was Japanese‑style, with a rice‑based dish. The second day was Western‑style, with a sandwich as the main course and fried eggs with pork belly. The food tasted good, but we would have appreciated more water. We did not ask for refills, as staff left the area after serving. Finding the hotel is a bit difficult. The entrance sign is blocked by a car park sign, making it very easy to miss. You need to drive very slowly, or you will pass it without realising it. We spent several minutes searching before realising this was the place. Be prepared to see a car park with two signs, where one directly blocks the hotel’s entrance sign.

The staff at Fuji Premium Resort went above and beyond to help us when we had some difficulties.  When we went it was snowing hard and had been involved in a minor car accident. The staff kept registration open late, got us food at no extra charge from the gift shop because the dining area was closed, and arranged transportation for us to get back to our car the next day because it was not able to get up the hill in the icy conditions and no other cost.  The rooms were nice and comfortable and the buffet breakfast in the morning was delicious.  Would absolutely stay with them again.

Nunca he escrito una reseña sobre Ctrip, pero tengo que escribir una hoy para Yunshang Hotel. En primer lugar, quería elegir una habitación con vistas al Monte Fuji en el lago Kawaguchi con unas 2 semanas de antelación. Todos los demás hoteles estaban llenos, así que la reservé como la única disponible. Lo raro es que no incluye. Desayuno. Nunca antes me había encontrado con esto en un hotel sin desayuno. 😊Cuando me registré, pregunté que el chef había dimitido Bueno, seguí sintiéndome raro. Quería darme un baño en la terraza por la noche, pero cuando me duché, ¡descubrí que se había acabado el gel de ducha! Salí desnudo y llamé a la recepción, ¡pero la recepción en realidad me dijo que bajara y lo recogiera yo mismo! jeje! Bueno, seguí lavando y encontré que el champú y el acondicionador también estaban vacíos. En ese momento vino el personal de servicio con jabón de baño, pues seguí lavando y descubrí que el nuevo también estaba vacío. El ambiente y la vista de este hotel son realmente buenos, así que lo aguanté. Al día siguiente compartí la vista de este hotel con mis amigos, y mi amigo chino en Tokio me preguntó qué hotel era. Después de que le dije el nombre, me compartió una noticia impactante. Este hotel Yunshang es bastante famoso entre los círculos japoneses y chinos. Se dice que el propietario chino quería que la habitación del hotel tuviera una vista del Monte Fuji. los árboles que el vecino que tenía delante se negó a talar. Bueno, esto es muy chino, y luego se explica todo el mal servicio en el hotel. Después de todo, China sirve. Si planea elegir este hotel, tenga cuidado. El servicio es extremadamente pobre. Se puede decir que nunca encontrará algo así en Japón. Otra cosa buena es que la distribución y la decoración de las habitaciones están en consonancia con la distribución. ## Transporte Si vienes desde Tokio, por ejemplo, Shinjuku, bájate en la parada 'Fuji-san Yamanakako Iriguchi (138)', lado B. Sin embargo, al comprar los billetes en la página web de highwaybus, esta parada no aparecía. Por eso compré hasta la estación de Asahigaoka; el precio es el mismo y el autobús también para allí (toca el timbre), así que no hubo ningún problema. Una vez en la parada de autobús, llama al hotel y en pocos minutos vendrá un servicio de transporte. Una vez en el hotel, no olvides reservar también la hora del servicio de transporte para la vuelta. ## Entorno El hotel está en la montaña, con unas vistas muy claras del monte Fuji. Aunque el hotel tiene sus años y las instalaciones son un poco antiguas, están muy bien conservadas. ## Servicio El personal es muy amable y atento. Si has reservado la cena, debes confirmarlo con el hotel con antelación; Ctrip también te llamará para preguntar si prefieres comida japonesa o occidental. Si no has reservado la cena, puedes consultar la página web del hotel, elegir lo que quieras comer y reservar con antelación. La cena empieza a las 6 de la tarde, ¡recuerda ser puntual! ## Onsen (Baños Termales) Hay dos onsen, y en uno de ellos puedes bañarte mientras disfrutas de las vistas del monte Fuji, lo cual es muy placentero. Sin embargo, un detalle es que el onsen no proporciona toallas, ¡así que asegúrate de llevar la tuya! Pero al hacer el check-in, nadie nos avisó que teníamos que llevar las toallas de la habitación al onsen, ni tampoco vimos ningún aviso en la habitación. (Aunque vi a otros huéspedes con toallas, no sé dónde habrán visto esa información o si se me escapó 🤔). En resumen, es un hotel excelente, ideal para un viaje tranquilo y unas vacaciones relajadas. La próxima vez, me gustaría quedarme unos días más 😊

If you are searching for a place where serenity, cleanliness, and genuine Japanese hospitality collide, stop looking — this is it. The Room & Amenities From the moment we stepped inside, we were blown away by how impeccably clean everything was. I mean spotless. The room itself is wonderfully spacious, giving us plenty of room to unwind after long days of exploring. But the real showstopper? The private hot bath. Soaking in steaming hot water while gazing out at Mt. Fuji from the comfort of our room was nothing short of therapeutic. And then there is the balcony. Waking up each morning to a full, unobstructed view of Mt. Fuji right from our private terrace felt like a privilege I never wanted to end. Whether it was sunrise painting the peak in soft pink or the mountain standing bold against a clear blue sky, the view alone made every yen worth it. The Host — Above and Beyond The owner is one of those rare people who makes you feel like family from day one. Warm, attentive, and endlessly kind, he ensured our stay was seamless. But what happened on our last day truly sealed this experience as unforgettable. While we were waiting for our bus back to Yokohama, he volunteered to drive us to Yamanakako Myojinyama Panoramadai. I cannot put into words how breathtaking that spot was — a sweeping panorama of Yamanaka Lake shimmering below with the majestic Mt. Fuji rising proudly in the background. It was the kind of view that makes you stop breathing for a second. That he took time out of his day to gift us that moment speaks volumes about the heart behind this villa. Final Thoughts Reitoku Fuji Lakeside Villa is not just accommodation — it is an experience. Clean, comfortable, spacious, and run by someone who genuinely cares about his guests. We will definitely be coming back, and I cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone looking for the ultimate Fuji getaway. Thank you for the memories, Reitoku. See you again soon.

El personal de recepción del hotel fue muy amable y atento, haciéndonos sentir como en casa. Desde la ventana de la habitación se veía directamente el monte Fuji y los cerezos en flor a orillas del lago; el paisaje era sencillamente impresionante. El desayuno estaba incluido y era variado para todos los gustos. También había un baño termal en la sexta planta. El hotel ofrecía un servicio de traslado gratuito a la estación, lo que nos ahorró muchas molestias. ¡Fantástico! El conductor también fue muy amable. ¡Este viaje fue inolvidable!
