En un día despejado, ¡el Monte Fuji prácticamente llena toda la ventana! Si quieres vivir esa experiencia, ¡este es el lugar ideal! Ubicación: Está a 1,5 km de la estación de Kawaguchiko. Fui caminando, arrastrando mi maleta. Hay una tienda de conveniencia y un pequeño restaurante de ramen a unos 200 metros. Puedes alquilar bicicletas a unos 20 metros en diagonal frente al hotel (¡no alquiles una deportiva, te dolerá el trasero!). Está a unos 300 metros del río, lo cual es bastante conveniente (para mí, todo a menos de un kilómetro es conveniente, jaja). Instalaciones: Hay dos jacuzzis, uno arriba y otro abajo. Para ser sincera, no son muy grandes ni impresionantes. No hay sauna. El hotel combina elementos nuevos y antiguos, pero tiene todo lo necesario. Limpieza: La habitación tenía un olor extraño... Un olor peculiar, un poco desagradable; recomiendo dormir con la ventana abierta. El resto de la habitación estaba bastante limpio, sin rincones antihigiénicos. Servicio: La recepcionista era una joven muy guapa y enérgica que nos recibió de maravilla. Comida: La cena es fundamental para una estancia de dos noches con dos comidas. Me alojé dos noches, así que fueron cuatro comidas. En general, la comida tenía buena pinta, pero para los que somos exigentes con la comida, le faltaba sabor. El servicio del restaurante estuvo bien, aunque mi cerveza tardó muchísimo en llegar, jaja. En conclusión, espero que añadan una sauna en el futuro (lleva abierto décadas y no creo que la añadan solo por mi reseña, jaja). Quizá añadan más, pero no es nada del otro mundo, y sigo pensando que es caro para lo que ofrece.

Si toma el autobús de carretera, puede bajarse directamente en la estación de Fujiyama, que está a 5 minutos a pie del hotel. El hotel también ofrece un servicio de transporte a otros lugares. El hotel no es especialmente moderno, pero está muy limpio y ofrece un desayuno sencillo por las mañanas. En general, está bastante bien.

It was definitely an enjoyable and worthy experience of traditional ryokan with tatami and futon with the best view of Mt. Fuji from the room window! The hotel itself overlooks parts of Mt. Fuji with Lake Kawaguchiko, and we even added on dinner and breakfast during the stay! They are simply one of the best meals during the trips in Tokyo! The onsen is another bonus to enjoy while seeing the view of Mt Fuji, even though it is public hot spring which might be a culture shock. Definitely worth to try it out again to enjoy the traditional Japan vibes around Lake Kawaguchiko.

I booked this hotel because the promotion made it seem luxurious, but the surroundings feel odd, almost like all the trees have been removed by purpose, littered with dry leaves and fallen branches. It feels dirty and poorly cared for. I was expecting a neatly landscaped area with grass and trees, but instead, the outside feels like a barren, lifeless space. That said, the inside of the room looks very good. The accommodation consists of two separate large caravan‑style rooms. They are not very spacious, but they are sufficient for a family of four. One of the rooms has slightly less living space because it includes a larger bathroom, with a full‑size bathtub. This is something you rarely find in Tokyo, where most bathtubs are quite small, so this was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, we struggled with the bathtub controls as it was written in Japanese, we couldn't use it after all. Also, the heating system are all labeled in Japanese, and there were no clear instructions in English. As a result, we didn’t figure out how to use the heating until the second night. We stayed for two nights in total. There is an outdoor spa area, which is interesting and enjoyable. We used it and found it quite good, although it is small. It works best for two people, three is a tight squeeze, and four would be uncomfortable. The sauna is decent and operates daily. Breakfast is served at set times rather than as a buffet, likely because the hotel only has 14 rooms. Guests must choose a time slot, such as 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, 8:30. We chose 8:30. Breakfast is a set menu rather than self‑service. Each morning includes a starter, a main dish, and some small item to finish, well enough for us. The first day was Japanese‑style, with a rice‑based dish. The second day was Western‑style, with a sandwich as the main course and fried eggs with pork belly. The food tasted good, but we would have appreciated more water. We did not ask for refills, as staff left the area after serving. Finding the hotel is a bit difficult. The entrance sign is blocked by a car park sign, making it very easy to miss. You need to drive very slowly, or you will pass it without realising it. We spent several minutes searching before realising this was the place. Be prepared to see a car park with two signs, where one directly blocks the hotel’s entrance sign.

An Unexpected Gem – One of the Best Resorts We’ve Ever Stayed At We booked this resort near Mount Fuji very late, and we were really worried because almost everything was already sold out. But it turned out to be one of the most wonderful stays we’ve ever had on any of our trips to Japan. The resort has several staff members who speak Vietnamese, and they helped us so much. Every time we needed to go somewhere, the shuttle bus took us to the station—even the times when I requested it late without booking an hour in advance, they still tried their best to arrange a pickup. Their kindness truly showed how much they care about their guests. From the driver to the front desk to the restaurant staff, everyone was incredibly warm, friendly, and always smiling. They were genuinely adorable and made us feel so welcomed. Our room was a huge surprise: a massive apartment-style space with four beds even though there were only two of us, plus two bathrooms. Everything was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The resort is located in a large forest, so the moment you step inside, you can smell the gentle scent of pine wood everywhere. The atmosphere feels grounding and refreshing—as if the Earth itself is recharging you. One of the best parts is that they have dedicated areas for pets. I got to play with some of the guests’ pets, and it was honestly such a sweet experience. Breakfast was delicious every morning, in a very authentic Japanese style. I went down for breakfast every day, and the dining area has a beautiful view of Mount Fuji—I even recorded some stunning videos there. I never imagined I would be able to book a resort this amazing. It seems like it has been operating for many years, with a rustic and warm charm that I absolutely fell in love with. Down at the reception area, they also sell all kinds of Mount Fuji souvenirs. When you’re out sightseeing in the Fuji area, you tend to buy a lot of souvenirs and snacks, which makes your bags very heavy—but the resort sells everything right there. I compared the prices, and they were actually much cheaper than the tourist spots, so we bought all our gifts there. Super convenient! I genuinely want to come back to this resort for future trips. It is one of the best places I have ever stayed, and I absolutely adore it. Highly, highly recommended.

Es un hotel excelente independientemente del paisaje y las instalaciones. Reservé la habitación más lujosa. Desafortunadamente, hubo un malentendido entre trip.com y el hotel. Las dos habitaciones grandes y la pequeña se cambiaron a solo dos habitaciones grandes. Había una pequeña habitación con aire acondicionado y sin cama. El chef se fue repentinamente, así que tuve que ir a un restaurante cerca de la estación Kawaguchiko, donde encontré una sorpresa. Hay un espacio de estacionamiento oculto que es muy conveniente. 

## Transporte Si vienes desde Tokio, por ejemplo, Shinjuku, bájate en la parada 'Fuji-san Yamanakako Iriguchi (138)', lado B. Sin embargo, al comprar los billetes en la página web de highwaybus, esta parada no aparecía. Por eso compré hasta la estación de Asahigaoka; el precio es el mismo y el autobús también para allí (toca el timbre), así que no hubo ningún problema. Una vez en la parada de autobús, llama al hotel y en pocos minutos vendrá un servicio de transporte. Una vez en el hotel, no olvides reservar también la hora del servicio de transporte para la vuelta. ## Entorno El hotel está en la montaña, con unas vistas muy claras del monte Fuji. Aunque el hotel tiene sus años y las instalaciones son un poco antiguas, están muy bien conservadas. ## Servicio El personal es muy amable y atento. Si has reservado la cena, debes confirmarlo con el hotel con antelación; Ctrip también te llamará para preguntar si prefieres comida japonesa o occidental. Si no has reservado la cena, puedes consultar la página web del hotel, elegir lo que quieras comer y reservar con antelación. La cena empieza a las 6 de la tarde, ¡recuerda ser puntual! ## Onsen (Baños Termales) Hay dos onsen, y en uno de ellos puedes bañarte mientras disfrutas de las vistas del monte Fuji, lo cual es muy placentero. Sin embargo, un detalle es que el onsen no proporciona toallas, ¡así que asegúrate de llevar la tuya! Pero al hacer el check-in, nadie nos avisó que teníamos que llevar las toallas de la habitación al onsen, ni tampoco vimos ningún aviso en la habitación. (Aunque vi a otros huéspedes con toallas, no sé dónde habrán visto esa información o si se me escapó 🤔). En resumen, es un hotel excelente, ideal para un viaje tranquilo y unas vacaciones relajadas. La próxima vez, me gustaría quedarme unos días más 😊

El personal de recepción del hotel fue muy amable y atento, haciéndonos sentir como en casa. Desde la ventana de la habitación se veía directamente el monte Fuji y los cerezos en flor a orillas del lago; el paisaje era sencillamente impresionante. El desayuno estaba incluido y era variado para todos los gustos. También había un baño termal en la sexta planta. El hotel ofrecía un servicio de traslado gratuito a la estación, lo que nos ahorró muchas molestias. ¡Fantástico! El conductor también fue muy amable. ¡Este viaje fue inolvidable!

The self check-in was very strange. There were many Japanese staff and a foreign staff members but they insisted that I my name and address manually. Then I had to pay the onsen tax, which is fair. The machine suggested either cash or credit card. I chose credit card and then the staff suddenly popped his head out to tell me to pay cash, which is extremely strange. It was very confusing. Either they set up their machine correctly, or they should stick to traditional check-in since they have a lot of staff. Still after I paid it took quite some time to get the key, they were ineffective. The room was OK, even though my booking was for 2 BEDS and 1 futon but only got 3 MATTRESSES on the tatami floor... I really enjoyed the bathtub with a view on the lake although there are only few of these bathrooms. The outside onsen looked nice but one of the baths was out of use, unfortunately.
