We had an absolutely wonderful stay and felt truly well taken care of throughout our time here. Special thanks to Qiu Jie, who was always responsive and patient in answering our many questions via WeChat — her support made planning everything so much smoother. We’re also deeply grateful to the boss, Hongbo, for his warm hospitality and genuine care; it truly felt like staying with family rather than at a commercial accommodation. Everyone we met — including the chef and our drivers — was extremely kind, friendly, and attentive. They were always ready to help with arrangements such as transportation and ticket bookings, and did so with great sincerity. We were also thoughtfully provided with frozen fruits, which was a lovely and refreshing treat after spending time outdoors in the cold. The location is about a 2-hour drive from Snow Town, and we loved being away from the busy, crowded tourist area. The peaceful rural surroundings allowed us to experience local life at a slower pace, complemented by delicious farm-to-table home-cooked meals. The hosts even taught us how to do the hot water splash, which was a fun and memorable experience in the freezing winter weather. As a bonus, there’s also a cute little deer in the backyard, which added an unexpected and delightful touch to our stay. They helped us book a visit to Gou Xiong Ling (¥400 per person, inclusive of transportation, entrance fee, and all rides). The snow activities — snowmobiling, snow tubing, snow drifting — were great fun, and we appreciated that photos and videos were taken and shared with us afterward. In addition, they assisted with ticketing and arrangements for our visit to Snow Town, including crossing Yangcaoshan by horse-drawn sled, taking a snowmobile up the mountain, and then a jeep ride down (with the option to walk down as well). Transportation back from Snow Town was also smoothly arranged. Overall, this stay offered not just comfort, but a truly warm, authentic, and thoughtfully curated experience. Highly recommended for travelers who value genuine hospitality, local experiences, and a peaceful alternative to the crowds of Snow Town.

El dueño de la casa de huéspedes fue increíblemente amable, cálido y honesto, lo que facilitó la comunicación. No solo ayudó a organizar el traslado de ida y vuelta al aeropuerto y a la estación de tren, sino que también ayudó a reservar actividades como senderismo en el valle nevado, pesca en hielo, Bear Ridge y Wusong Ridge, para que no tuvieras que preocuparte por nada. La cocina del noreste de China también era deliciosa: cerdo agridulce, costillas de cerdo estofadas con judías verdes y rábano rallado agridulce. Cada plato era un deleite para los sentidos, y las porciones eran generosas.

¡Me encantó! La habitación recién construida era grande y limpia. Hay un tobogán privado justo al lado del B&B, ¡y los niños se lo pasaron genial! Aunque está un poco lejos del escenario principal, ofrecen servicio de recogida y regreso. Dimos un paseo y, al volver, el dueño nos reconoció e incluso llevó a los niños en moto de nieve. Prepararon peras y caquis congelados, ¡e incluso pudimos experimentar cómo hacer haws confitados vertiendo agua en hielo! ¡El cerdo agridulce de la cocina está riquísimo! Los ventanales de la cocina también son impresionantes.

We stayed here for 4D3N during our recent visit and it was a memorable experience for all of us. The place is comfortable & the host is really friendly. What makes this place so special? The host's service & hospitality. It is totally above and beyond which makes us really happy with our stay. Despite having a language barrier (we cannot speak or understand Mandarin), the family manages to accommodate all our requests and make us feel welcome. Upon confirmation, we contacted the host through WeChat and he helped us to arrange for return trip transportation from Harbin to Wuchang. Other activities that were arranged by the host: horse-drawn sleigh, visit to frozen waterfall & mini amusement park, private transfer to Snow Valley (journey approx. 2.5hrs/way), snowmobile to Bear Hill with other activities, play firecrackers during Lantern Festival, hot water splash in winter. Should you want to experience Northeastern hospitality, I highly recommend to put Kuolanting Inn as your choice. P/s: For Muslim traveller, there is no halal food available here, so please be prepared beforehand.

¡Lo recomiendo totalmente! El Hostal Haitao tiene una excelente ubicación, justo en la calle principal de Xuegu, lo que facilita mucho los desplazamientos. Tiene una entrada muy grande y un patio enorme donde es fácil aparcar. El servicio es excelente, siempre dispuestos a ayudar. Además, el precio es muy asequible, solo unas decenas de yuanes por persona, y eso incluye el desayuno. También tienen abrigos de algodón florales gratis para las fotos. La limpieza es impecable y la comida deliciosa. Ah, y un punto importante: ¡el arroz Wuchang es realmente aromático y delicioso!

The owners were great, very welcoming and helpful, they offered trips and help when needed, the rooms were spacious, spotless and warm, the food was delicious and they even cooked food for my son that wasn't on the menu, they taught us to make dumplings. In the small village there are other restaurants and a coffee shop and activities . The owners helped book activities and accompanied us for some, such as up to the mountain ridge and horse riding. We had bonfire and fireworks also whilst there. Overall it was a great stay and would definitely return again if we ever got the chance.

Así, detalles sobre el hotel. Probablemente es bastante nuevo, por lo que no hay limpieza y reparación de reclamaciones. La ubicación también es super, justo al lado del cabrón, por la carretera. Las damas en el resepschen también son responsivas, jóvenes. Pero! El servicio es cromo, fue a la habitación de papel de baño no, tuvo que preguntar. Cuando limpiaba en la habitación, el agua no se puso nueva, las toallas se cambiaron, pero en principio en casa también no cambiamos toallas todos los días, así que no pasa nada. El baño se ha ido a la siguiente persona. En el duche no hay un gancho, ni siquiera una performance, toallas pendientes en ningún lugar. Tienen una caja (foto adjunto) y en ella se encuentran cuerdas con diferentes salidas, como actúa como una transición, pero de ella no se carga nada, quizás se paga, nunca entendimos. La TV no es un canal ruso, aunque es moderno y fue posible masticar la pantalla de teléfono y ver el pinch antes de dormir. Aún en la habitación está frío, la ventana es salvaje, a pesar de la batería caliente. Y no está todavía en la calle. El hotel es pequeño, no hay baño en la sala, pero en principio no hay problema después de la evacuación que dejan la habitación al baño. Dejan las cosas a los acostumbrados en la recepción. The room were spacious & clean. If the services allowed to give 100stars, I would definitely go for the max! Awesome services from the owner & family. They were really friendly and welcoming.
