Viaje fuera de las horas punta y compre un billete de barco directamente a la isla Gouqi Shengshan. El B&B ofrece un servicio gratuito de recogida y regreso al muelle, lo cual es realmente considerado, ¡y también mejora el tipo de habitación de forma gratuita! ¡La habitación con vista al mar de 270 grados es realmente increíble! La habitación tiene mucho estilo y cuenta con un sistema de control de voz inteligente. Es muy limpio y ordenado. Al principio estaba bastante nervioso, ¡pero en realidad superó mis expectativas! El restaurante de mariscos recomendado por el jefe también es muy bueno~

La habitación es muy limpia, el diseño general es muy cálido, la ubicación es muy buena, el otro lado es la zona de paisaje de Oshijiang, hay muchas frutas de mar en la orilla, está muy conveniente para Puqi y Nansha, el dueño es muy bueno, el hotel recomendado también es muy delicioso, el desayuno en el hotel de nueve palacios es también muy exquisito, Es el hotel que quiere volver la próxima vez.

Love everything about the hotel. The breakfast and lunch were very good and delicious and luxury eventhough it was vegetarian food. The landscape was green and so quiet. Beautiful garden around our rooms. Perfect for recharge our energy and refresh our soul and mind. Location is very near and in walking distance to Guanyin Fajie.’

We had a lovely stay at Sea Cliff Hotel for May 1st break. This is what I liked: - buying ship ticket for May holiday was mission impossible, starting with Tickets App not accepting foreign passports. Hotel helped me with arranging the tickets both ways, even after there were no tickets online (sold out in 20 min) - they arranged a pick us up on arrival and brought us back to the pier on departure - hotel has an excellent sea view location, very silent and sea centric rooms, same for restaurant - everything is modern, I specifically liked ability to share Apple screens on TV in the room, great way to review photos and watch own movies in the evening - good breakfast 8 to 9AM, you can come 8:45 and enjoy a late breakfast as well; we also had late lunch in hotel restaurant on arrival, great food, great to seat outside, flexible working hours (not closed 14-17!), actually I liked their meals more than what we had on the main beach top restaurant, finally reception can brew you a coffee though bit hot - there is 20 min walk from the hotel for a great bay and coffee place to watch sunset, excellent experience and no need to wake up early - hotel was always online on WeChat to address any issues or questions, including how to organize a day, fantastic services! - hotel has own beach area, looks like good to swim, I will consider for summer, water is clean on the island, and this is just couple of hours from Shanghai - small drawback: fishing boats pass by from early morning, this may disturb your morning sleep ;) - other thing the bed is a bit too hard for my back, but where did you see soft beds in China? Overall: highly recommended!

One of our best stays in China! This place was absolutely amazing. The ladies running it are hilarious and always made us laugh. First of all - the rooms are really good for the price. We got upgraded to a much better room after our first night, free of charge. It’s also conveniently located next to grocery shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach, while still being a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle. The food here is really good too - the (included) breakfast as well as what you can buy for lunch/dinner is really fresh. Because of the language barrier they tried to accommodate by providing more “western style” breakfasts for us, but when we realized and asked about it they made us a second breakfast that was like the one everyone else got. They also helped us out with a driver to take us to the abandoned village, and booked our tickets back to Shanghai. Also, the aircon here is FAST and reliable which we’ve realized isn’t a given after a few weeks in China. So that’s another (small yet important) plus for sure! Usually I like to explore different places and stay at different accommodations if/when I revisit places, but I’d probably make an exception and stay here again if I ever come back to visit the island!

Absolutely unacceptable experience. This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve ever encountered. We were never been told that the air-conditioning would be turned off during the night. Because of this decision, two of my family members overheated and their faces turned red, and eventually everyone in the room developed a fever. When we went to the counter to ask for help, we were told that the hotel shuts off the aircond because “most customers prefer a 养生 environment.” This excuse is completely unacceptable. If some guests want warmer temperatures, they can adjust it on their own. Turning off the air-conditioning for all guests is irresponsible. Instead of solving the issue, the staff pushed blame around, avoided accountability, and finally offered us a fan as a “solution” , after we had already paid full price for a room that should have proper cooling. Only when I finally raised my voice and demanded to speak to the manager ,they decide to turn the aircond back on. What’s the point of staying here If guests have to fight just to get normal air-conditioning, what kind of hotel is this? This whole experience completely ruined my trip. The front desk service was equally disappointing. They were unfriendly, unresponsive, and dismissive. They ignored us while chatting among themselves and only responded when I raised my voice. This behaviour falls far below professional standards. I have stayed in many hotels, and I have never experienced such unprofessional and irresponsible service. I do not recommend this hotel.

Service by the guy who picked us up from the airport is excellent. 10/10!!! Our luggage was damaged during the flight, he called someone to help us repair it. We were short on time for the ferry sailing to Mt Putuo due the weather conditions, that day sailings will be cancelled, (we got to chat in the van when he picked us up from the airport), he said we can just leave the luggages at the front desk and then hurriedly sent us to the port, good thing we made it. That's superb customer service!!! He didn't even want to get a tip, eventually we gave him some dried mango packs from the Philippines. The front desk guy though is a different story, he was super slow, did not know how to handle checking in of foreign passport holders I think. He has our passports and had to ask us our birthdays!! It was also difficult for him to understand the visa dates (expiry and issue dates), and he kept on asking when we arrived, it is just there stamped opposite the visa page, we just actually arrived that day, this is our first hotel. Anyway, free pick up from the airport is best and free sending to the port and then lastly also to the bus station. Great service.

El servicio era bueno, desde los conductores de autobuses de transbordador útiles hasta el servicio inmediato del técnico- tuvimos dificultades para acceder a la televisión inicialmente. No obstante, nos confundimos con las paradas de autobús declaradas por el hotel, ya que existen paradas de autobús designadas que son diferentes de las diferentes paradas de los templos donde sólo pueden ir los autobuses públicos. La habitación era confortable, pero no grande. Me gusta el diseño Zen. Las ventanas estaban abiertas cuando entramos en la habitación, por lo que había dos vuelos en la habitación. Nos voltámos al repelente eléctrico de mosquitos. Felizmente no nos molestaron. Los visitantes no deberían abrir las ventanas cuando hacen limpieza de la habitación para que los insectos no entren en la habitación. La isla tiene muchos árboles, así que hay insectos-mosquitos, volantes, etc alrededor. Las paredes de la habitación son tan finas, pero puedo oír las habitaciones vecinas hablando por el pasillo y el asistente de la habitación viene a su rescate diciendo que es el asistente de la habitación. El hotel está a pocos minutos a pie del mar, bueno para una caminata por la noche. En general, la calidad es buena y la habitación era cómoda.

This is a homestay (民宿), so do not expect the same level of service or amenities you would normally find in a hotel. The property is located within a residential estate, giving visitors a glimpse into the self-sustained local lifestyle in Putuo Shan. Based on the condition of the buildings, I believe this is an older estate, and many units have been renovated into hotel-style rooms for travelers. The homestay is about a 5-minute walk from the bus station. Each bus ride costs either RMB 5 or RMB 10 depending on the distance, payable by QR code. Private cars are not allowed inside the Putuo Scenic Area. If you have small luggage, you can bring it on the bus; for larger suitcases, you can arrange courier transport for rmb10 per piece per way—your guide or the owner can provide more details. The beds and bathroom are clean and well-maintained. We were satisfied with our 2-night stay. Tips: The owner provides disposable one-time-use towels. They are thin and small, so bring your own towel if you prefer something more comfortable. There are breakfast options right at the entrance. For lunch and dinner, it’s about a 5–8 minute walk from the building. We personally preferred the small local restaurant over the larger seafood restaurant. It is 1.7km to Puji Temple and 2.2km walk to Harbour. We chose to take bus as too much walking for us for the day already.
