Holiday Inn Club Vacations Tahoe Ridge Resort

Great location, massive square footage, clean, and. Lose to Stagecoach Lodge Heavenly. In fact, our room overlooked the lodge parking lot. Easy check in, well maintained roads (snow plows). Negatives are: Property showing it’s age, 1 of 2 elevators broken, building icemaker broken, hallways need refurbishing, and basement parking lot has not enough spaces for all units on weekends.

The villa had gorgeous views from all windows and the fully functional kitchen with dishwasher and the washer/dryer were great for our family mini vacation. Beds were comfortable and the villa was clean when we arrived. However, there was no housekeeping during our 4 night stay, and the coffee and detergent provided were not enough for the stay.

Second year staying at Ridge resort for a quick ski trip. Excellent location, right next to a ski lift. One downside: the resort is old, and some infrastructure elements don't work (e.g. sauna in our building), and some others just badly need replacement (carpeting, elevators, etc.)

Everything was great, except sauna wasn’t working and constant noise from the street (don’t forget earplugs)

First stay since Holiday Inn Club Vacations purchased the resort. The resort is not modern, however, the staff is friendly and courteous (housekeeping, front desk, concierge).

Bath tub extremely difficult to hurdle into. Jacuzzi on top floor were both out of order. Signage in elevator would have been nice.

We've stayed at Tahoe Ridge Resort 3 of the last 5 years, and this year's stay left us looking elsewhere. We ran into two significant problems that were handled poorly. We booked a two-room suite and noticed the heater did not work on the smaller side. My wife reached out to the front desk informing them of the issue. We didn't receive a response, and the heat was not fixed three days later when we checked out. The one road to the resort was closed for 3-4 hours one evening due to a traffic collision, and we were stuck down the hill wondering if we needed to book an alternate hotel for the night. There was no communication from the resort, and when we called the main number we were unable to reach the front desk. My wife finally reached a person on the reservations line who was rather rude and seemed bothered that we were calling. This year's experience has us looking elsewhere for next year's Tahoe trip.

5 night stay over NYE in Ridge Crest which was far from clubhouse - pool, games, etc. We booked 2 room suite which was nice for my family of 5 with 3 kids - 16, 13 and 8 - 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, full kitchen & living room. Looks like it was recently remodeled so it’s updated and a pleasant surprise from the rooms that are shown online which looks like they’re stuck in the 80s and 90s. Cooking for my family while on vacations like these helps us cut down on costs, especially because I have a special-needs child. I added a picture of me being able to cook which I really liked. Also, the room had a washer dryer in it which was great because I could do some loads of laundry in between our days. Cons: besides the distance from the clubhouse was the housekeeping seemed a little lax, when I checked in there was dirty clothes on the floor, and the sofa bed had not been fully made up. Additionally, the safe in the room was broken like someone had hacked it open so we weren’t able to use that during our day. Good location close to the heavenly but a bit pricey for the accommodations. I’d give it a 3.5 out of 5 stars.
