Llevé a mi madre y a mis hijos a viajar a Xiamen. Me quedé en la isla el primer día. Después de mirar muchos hoteles familiares durante los siguientes tres días, finalmente elegí Le Méridien. La antigua marca no me decepcionó. El hotel tiene una vista estupenda a medio camino de la montaña. El personal de recepción fue muy entusiasta y nos registró. Reservamos una habitación familiar en una villa. Cada vez que entramos o salimos de la habitación, necesitamos un autobús para decidir. Los camareros son muy amable. La habitación no es muy grande, pero el baño es muy grande y hay una bañera grande, a los niños les gusta bañarse todos los días y ver la televisión mientras se bañan, jajajaja. La variedad del desayuno es bastante rica, con estilos de buffet tanto chino como occidental, y los niños también lo disfrutaron. El hotel también dispone de un parque infantil, que no es muy grande pero sí suficiente para que jueguen los niños. A los niños también les gusta la piscina. Puedes encontrar otros niños con quienes jugar en ella. Es muy divertido. No es aburrido quedarse en el hotel sin salir. Estoy muy satisfecho con mi estadía esta vez. El paisaje del jardín del hotel es magnífico. El personal del hotel es muy educado y el servicio es muy satisfactorio. El desayuno buffet incluye una variedad de snacks chinos y occidentales. Lovely hotel Le Meridien Xiamen is set in a serene forest environment, perfect for a quiet retreat. The ground floor rooms are ideal for easy accessibility. Our room w/3 guest beds, a balcony facing and provide a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by nature. We particularly enjoy daily delicious buffet breakfast and dinner, with a variety of options to cater to all taste buds. Centrally located for visits to Gulangyu Island (leave before 5 PM to avoid peak rush) and Riyuegu Hotsprings (all-day retreat till 10 PM). Taxis are affordable but ensure they run on the meter. Cash payment is accepted, but drivers may not have change as most use contactless payments like Alipay, which can auto-translate to English and other languages. The hotel's tranquil environment and delectable dining options make it an excellent choice for a relaxing getaway for a mother + 2 daughters…

Room was beautiful , exceptional service at the lounge . A Special shoutout to Stella and team at the club lounge , Janas and front office team and the list goes on and on . They were able to ensure I had the utmost pleasant stay and were able to anticipate my every needs . The hotel is "hidden away" in a forest/hill. They do offer a shuttle service to the cities attractions one-way, which you can use daily, so you'd only have to use Didi for the way back. Considering Xiamen is quite a compact city, it's not too inconvenient. But going out in the evening for a night market, or dinner, does require either quite a hike, or always a taxi/Didi ride. If you do like a place that's quiet and just a few minutes by car away from the city, this hotel is for you. If you want a city hotel, where you can find bars/restaurants/supermarkets next door, you're looking at the wrong place. Rooms are regular for a 5* property, nothing wrong. Yes, as others commented, there is a bit of a wet smell in the rooms - due to the hotels location. First room I was given was smelling too bad, second attempt gave me a better smelling room. At least myself, got used to it after a moment in the room. Pool is large, and clean. Proper Sauna as well. Had the executive room with lounge access included (and breakfast). Breakfast was excellent, very solid 5*. Not the best I've ever had, but certainly VERY solid. Club lounge can get busy, and the offerings are better than what you'd otherwise expect. Willa Wu and Cupid Chi, the two ladies running the Executive lounge, gave great hospitality. Really top notch. In short: If you're sensitive on rooms smelling wet and/or want a hotel located in the middle of the city, this hotel isn't for you. Otherwise, it's great. I trully enjoyed my stay, and would stay here again in the future.

This hotel has good room and restaurant. Very good price in Xiamen.

Perfect for weekend getaways to a quite location

Preferably, they should have installed USB charger in the room, room light was not suffecient. a bench outside the front door for smokers, otherwise all were okay

Great place to stay that has many nice amenities like pool, gym, spa and nice surroundings. Would recommend!

The hotel is located on the mountain and the view is absolutely beautiful. The room is comfortable and the staff are friendly.
