Cerca del lago, súper lanzando desde el aeropuerto de Zúrich, tren y autobús, tomó alrededor de 2 horas ponerlo ... un poco cansado ~ Sé que no seré tan arrojado en bote en Lucerna, y el bote todavía es cómodo . ~ La habitación es bastante grande, pero creo que la puerta no es muy buena, siento que la cerradura es fácil de abrir y traigo el artefacto antirrobo. Anteayer, el personal volverá a su pregunta, pero se sentirá muy impaciente. Un día, el personal de limpieza limpió la habitación durante el día, puso mis almohadas en la cama y mi pijama debajo del colchón. La ubicación es excelente, el punto de venta de este hotel es la ubicación y el paisaje, cerca del lago, no es demasiado fresco para comer en un restaurante al aire libre. El estacionamiento está disponible en menos de 10 ubicaciones, de forma gratuita. Hay menos tipos de desayuno pero también estará ahí, la habitación es pequeña, el problema común de los hoteles europeos

I have stayed in dozens of Swiss hotels for over 60 years and found the Alexander pleasant but somewhat lacking. The Hasler family were charming. After a long journey, it was disappointing to find all 4 adults complain about a bad first night’s sleep and something as simple as the pillows being to blame. Despite the hotel having a pillow menu with options such as pine shavings, horse hair, sheep hair, millet seed and bees wax but nothing as mundane as foam, we decided to go and purchase 4 pillows at the Coop in Luzern! This did not make a great first impression and nor did the attitude of the receptionist with whom we discussed the issue who said it was up to us. As we couldn’t take the pillows home at the end, we gifted them in pristine condition to the hotel for the benefit of future guests - so please ask! This hotel is in a fabulous location overlooking the Vierwaldstättersee (Lake Lucerne). The rooms are a little tired. The staff are mostly very pleasant and helpful but sadly not terribly efficient. Self service breakfast is an extensive buffet with little to criticise except that dishes of fruit and scrambled egg were not replenished quickly. The 3 course evening meal was tedious in terms of awaiting service especially as we had a 4 year old in our party. We also found some strange food combinations and actually preferred the food at the sister hotel, the Gerbi. Even ordering A La Carte we found restrictive over the 10 day stay. The hotel offered a meat fondu and when we asked for that one evening we were told it couldn’t be done as our table was not near to an electric socket. The hotel charged for tap water (we also bought soft drinks, wine and spirits) which we found strange. Yet a tea and coffee facility was free on each floor - with free water! There were sometimes noisy building works taking place at the hotel commencing at 7am. The hotel pools and spa facilities were excellent. On days when the hotel had day conferences taking place it was very difficult to find a parking place! Spaces were reserved with plastic cones for delegates and I was asked to park further away below the hotel in a public car park.

El hotel está a cierta distancia del muelle, y en la ladera, sigo por error la navegación para mostrar el equipaje durante 6 minutos, y estoy muy cansado. La recepción es un buen servicio para el hermano menor. También presenta las atracciones de los alrededores. Se puede ver la habitación con vista al lago. Se puede ver en la montaña Pilatus en Rizhao. No hay muchas variedades de desayuno, pero hay huevos cocidos. Solo puede cocinar usted mismo antes y después de su estadía.

Llegue a Zúrich a la 1 pm y vaya directamente a este hotel en lugar de quedarse en Lucerna. Fui a ver la mañana al monte Rigi y tuve la suerte de ver el amanecer. Tarda aproximadamente una hora, así que tienes que relajarte. (No hay tren por la mañana). La habitación en sí es realmente un motel y el resto del spa es excelente. Sensación de spa de lujo. Los precios de las habitaciones son tan caros que hay muchas habitaciones vacías en temporada alta. Se siente como un asiático que dio una mala vista (no tengo algunas vistas en esta dirección) Mesa de desayuno fuera de la ventana Otros miran hacia la ladera de la montaña. Por cierto, Rigi Mountain View se queda sin precios de hotel. Desayuno excelente Por favor, ve a ver el amanecer. Fue increíble porque no había gente en el camino. Ascendiendo, ya está ahí. It is quite rare that i would give somewhere the full 5-star/excellent rating but this hotel is amazing. Gosh - what a location. It really could not be more Swiss if it tried. One morning we even caught the ferry up to Luzern from the jetty outside the hotel. Magical. Reading some of the other reviews, i can only say that we found the breakfast spreads absolutely wonderful. Plenty of choice and of an excellent quality. (Even better they waited until you had finished before clearing the table). To me though, it was that everything was just so damn-Swiss (and i mean this in a nice way). Service excellent, everything on time, all the design and detail had been thought out. it was really difficult to find any fault (that said despite having almost every adaptor under the sun we did struggle with the Swiss two pin sockets i.e. could not plug in laptop). Some of us even went for a swim in the lake (and then were more prudent by trying out the sauna). The rooms with a balcony overlooking the lake. I mean what more could you ask for! Stunning. Would highly recommend.
