Hotell Villa Borgen

Wonderful three-night stay in one of their annex apar**ents. The space was very nice, quiet and well-lit. (We had no upstairs neighbors during our offseason stay.) Staff was helpful and friendly in every interaction, and breakfast was excellent—really increased our sense of value. Location is in the old city and a short walk to sights within the walls, with a couple of grocery stores and more not far outside the walls.

Very well located, yet in a quiet courtyard / garden of its own. Standard double rooms seem to be all fairly small (ours was 12 sqm) but adequate since we did not spend much time there. Bed was large and comfy enough. Bathroom also quite cramped but adequate. Extra space was afforded by the pretty garden where there were chairs and tables. It’s a bit pricey for the standard that would better be described as B&B than hotel (there was staff present only from morning till 5pm). Very good breakfast.

Great place for visiting Visby. Very central location but in a relatively quiet part of the town (not the main party area) so no disturbances. The rooms are also located a bit from the street, which also helps. Small and familiar hotel, nice and friendly staff, breakfast ok, everything you really need is available and at least for me nothing’s really missing. Wifi stable and fast, beds comfortable, slightly warm in the room, no air condition, only a small fan available in the room. In the single room where I stayed, the bathroom is very limited in size and it’s almost impossible to take a shower and keep the floor dry… All in all a very nice and price worthy hotel in Visby, just a few minutes walk from the harbour or from the bus station and close to shopping, restaurant and bars. Very limited parking possibilities really close to the hotel, but convenient parking places a few hundred meters away.

This is a lovely place in every respect. Very welcoming, comfortable room, tasty breakfast, good location. I'd definitely stay here again.

Cozy stay at Villa Borgen. The service was low-key - it seemed to be only one person - but it was all done well. Excellent breakfast - the different smoothies each morning were a treat! Good location near Söderport. Cute courtyard. Would definitely stay again.

Mycket bra

Så trevligt hotell mitt i Visby med supertrevlig personal. Dock lite kallt inne i rummen. Bra att det fanns möjlighet att ha med sig hund.

Ett enkelt hotell, ganska slitet och mycket små rum med allt för lite plats för förvaring. Dock mycket bra läge, god frukost och bra parkeringsmöjligheter.
