The location is good and the hotel is just fine. Need some renovation around the path leading to beach. ***y opt for this location for ease of access to beaches, if that is not maintained it will lead to disappointment. The SPA is not per the expectation and the maintenance of the spa is very bad. Food is above average. The buffet breakfast is fine but lacks variety for those staying longer. Overall it was a good experience. The attender at the pool Mr. Babu is very good, he should be awarded for his fine service. Overall the hotel staff are polite and well ***nered and hear to our concerns.

Excellent Hotel with excellent services. The ***agers and staffs kept us very comfortable and most importantly accommodated to our toddlers meals during the stay. Very beautiful view as very peaceful hotel!

This property is peaceful and well maintained. The restaurant serves a limited menu with homely food. The breakfast has a buffet but the rest are a-la-carte. In room dining and the restaurant close at 10:30 pm. The spa is amazing and offers great treatment for the money. It’s a safe and peaceful place to spend a quiet vacation

Really good stay. Very good service. Rooms are big and clean. Nearer to north cliff (4 minutes drive). Get good sea view from reception. You can walk down to Papanashini beach. Evening snacks was a good touch. Overall really recommend this hotel.

The experience was great. The staffs Mr. Reji and Mr. Sudeep( Security head) were very helpful in all aspects. Guided us to good places nearby. The food and services were excellent and always wants to come back to this property. The pool staff and the experience from the other guests also was great.

Enjoyed the stay, staff were very hospitable. They handled all our needs with outmost care. Location of the property is good. Rooms have good view and are spacious. I liked the spa experience. The food was really good. There were several games to play. Swimming pool was good though water was little warm due to hot climate during the month of April.

I would like to share my and my family member’s experience. We booked 3 rooms 7adults and 1 kid. We paid for extra bedding as well and 100% payment was made in advance. Although we booked our rooms directly through hotel reservation but surprisingly front desk was not aware about extra bedding and we struggled till 12 in night to get the extra bed. Hotel staff was not at all supportive. I requested them that although we have already paid for extra bedding but still I am not well due to long journey please provide the extra bedding if you would not get the confirmation from reservations then I would pay for it but he didn’t accommodate us. Restaurant- Food was excellent but service was very lethargic. We ordered for Dal Makhni but the only staff served Yellow dal. There was a long delay in serving food. You need at least 1 hour to get your food served. Even after repeated calls or requests they didn’t serve the food on time. Restaurant staff is like a confused staff. You order something you will get something else. They have a very limited staff. It happened with us daily. But food quality and taste is excellent. But for sure they will not serve all the items in 1 go and that too 1 hour after placing the order. Even for items containing egg was not indicated in restaurant. For pure vegetarians it is very hard to adjust. There are so ***y bitter experiences happened with us which we explained at front desk. It is very hard to believe that it’s a Taj Group Property. The issues which I address are very genuine and need to be addressed and fix immediately because it dented Taj’s reputation. This was our worst experience staying with Taj. Location is nice. It’s a sea facing Property. Beach is around 10 minutes walk away from here.

Slightly less than extraordinary but I would say a great experience with no negatives or downsides so to say. Great rooms, Good swimming pool, play area for kids (table tennis, table hockey, tennis court, badminton, hammock, swingS, sea saw.. What else would you expect Sea view and nature at its best here

Staff takes good care of you including the property GM Mayank and F&B ***ager Jiju. They were there to guide us and assist us with suggestions on places to visit in Varkala. Overall staff was quite helpful and ready to help with a smile. Swimming pool with its water temperature was quite good. Rooms felt like they need a modern upgrade keeping in mind current design sensibilities. Sea views from the room were nice but would have loved balcony in the room to be in front rather than side. Food was pretty good - especially the south Indian preparations. No non sense property. Also quite close to some of the prominent things in Varkala - i.e. Cliff, Varkala beach, etc.
