El hotel está cerca de la autopista (unos cientos de metros) tan conveniente en este sentido, pero la zona es modernas instalaciones de negocios en la orilla de la ciudad. El hotel es grande, moderno, multifloro. Hay un pequeño bar en el hotel, pero un bar más grande está en el restaurante italiano directamente conectado (pero independiente) a la puerta. El restaurante ha sido bueno con comida y servicio. El hotel estaba bien, y las habitaciones estaban modernas, limpias y adecuadas. Mi única crítica (menor) fue que las duvas estaban en el lado fino para cualquiera que duerme con una ventana abierta del verano. Probablemente quedarse allí otra vez.

Ich fange mit dem Zimmer an: es ist recht klein mit einem Mini-Tisch. Wenig Abstellmöglichkeiten. Dafür großer Fernseher, geräumiges Bad. Gute Schallisolierung. Man muss Glück haben, wenn man vor dem Hotel einen der öffentlichen Parkplätze ergattern kann. Diese sind am Wochenende kostenlos. Parken in der Tiefgarage kostet zwölf Euro pro Nacht. Die Zimmerreinigung war tadellos. Die Klimaanlage macht was sie soll, wenn auch unter erheblichem Geräuschpegel. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich, das Frühstück ist korrekt. Allerdings waren wir so ziemlich die einzigen, die die Einweghandschuhe am Frühstücksbuffet benutzt haben. Wäre vielleicht es sinnvoll, wenn das Personal die Gäste drauf hinweisen würde, dass diese zu benutzen sind. Das große Hinweisplakat wird schlicht ignoriert.

Das Campo ist ein gut renoviertes Hotel, die Zimmer sind ansprechend und hübsch. Hervorheben möchte ich, dass insbesondere auch die Einzelzimmer sehr komfortabel sind. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte reibungslos. Der Sauberkeit gebe ich jedoch nur 3 von 5 Sternen, der Duschboden hätte es mal wieder dringend nötig gehabt. Die Wasserleitungen sind irgendwie so gekoppelt, dass es, wenn ein anderer duscht zu ungewollten heiß-kalt-Wechselduschen kommt. Das Personal fand ich pragmatisch. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Als Tipp: Geöffnete Türen begrüße ich bzgl. Corona sehr, aber nicht wenn der Bereich davor von Rauchern genutzt wird. Ich habe beim Frühstück gefühlt im Raucherzimmer gesessen. Weswegen das nicht mein ”Stuttgarter-Hotel” wird: Die Schallisolierung funktioniert nicht / ist nicht durchdacht. Die Türen der Zimmer und der Flure schließen mit einer Geschwindigkeit und einem Krawall beim ins Schloss fallen, dass es bei voller Belegung einfach ununterbrochen kracht. Wenn das Nachbarzimmer betroffen ist, sitzt man senkrecht im Bett, da dieser ”Lärm” auch über Bodenvibration läuft und Erdbebenfeeling auslöst. Ja, der Boden - mit dem Trittschall stimmt was nicht (oder mein Zimmernachbar war ein Elefant). Und: Sobald jemand im Nachbarzimmer den Stuhl verrückt knarzt es, als würde ein Umzug stattfinden. Ich empfehle Filzkleber. Ich hatte Ohrstöpsel dabei - die Frequenzen konnte nicht abgeschirmt werden. Nachts hat mich mein Nachbar bis 2 Uhr wachgehalten, ab 5 geht es wieder los. Ergo: Wenn die Nachbarzimmer nicht belegt sind, ist das ein Hotel mit einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Bei voller Belegung und schlaflosen Nachbarn - kann ich lärmgeplagten nur abraten. Mich hatte es geärgert, ich hatte einen wichtigen Termin und bin extra den Tag vorher angereist um ”fit” zu sein. Rückblickend hätte ich auch morgens um 5 zu Hause aufbrechen können.

Me gustaría quejarme de la estancia desastrosa del Hotel Novum Ruf en Pforzheim. Estoy absolutamente decepcionado por la calidad de su hotel y por lo que nos han asignado como habitaciones. Reservé en Internet antes de ver fotos de una hermosa habitación, pero cuando entramos en ella, nos sorprendía. La habitación no era igual a las fotos que habíamos visto. Era sucio (esos tejidos de espinacas eran claramente visibles) y tenía un aspecto muy diferente de las imágenes. Cuando le dije al personal que era normal, nos dijeron que no debíamos quejarnos. Pero eso no era todo. Todo el hotel huele a orina y cosas similares. Tanto la recepción como la escalera eran intolerables. Era inhigiénico y una condición para quedarse en un entorno así. No puedo recomendar a nadie este hotel y estoy realmente decepcionado por nuestra estadía. Como joven, fue especialmente frustrante que el personal intentó decirnos que era normal quedarse en estas condiciones. Espero que en el futuro haga algo contra estas condiciones y trate mejor a sus huéspedes.

We stayed for one night at the Parkhotel to be within walking distance of the jewelry museum. This was among the more expensive options we considered in Pforzheim, but we believe it was money well spent. This hotel would easily hold its own quite well in much larger cities; in terms of size and facilities, it might compare to many Hiltons or Sheratons, but everything about the Parkhotel is at a higher level. The public areas were immaculate and bright with lovely fresh flower arrangements, dinner staff appeared to be seasoned veterans, and the (optional) breakfast was easily the best we encountered in two weeks of travel. There was plenty of underground parking, and the front desk staff was friendly and professional. My only slightly negative impression was the very long walk to our room, but that was far outweighed by our overall experience; it seems clear this hotel sets high standards, and in our brief stay, it lived up to them in all respects.
