Lake Pichola Hotel

This hotel is just beside the lake pichola and gives a tremendous view of Lake. Loved the service and stay there. The staff are polite and nice. The lakeside view gives an amazing view in the morning and we can enjoy tea or coffee on the balcony.Totally happy with hotel

Certes l hotel est bien situé avec une vue sur le lac, certes vous pourrez dîner en terrasse avec les lumières qui se reflètent sur l eau, certes le personnel est serviable mais la chambre est vieille et sale. A un tel point que vous ne laisserez pas vos affaires au sol, que vous tirerez les rideaux en prenant des pincettes, que vous ne pourrez pas vous assoir sur les sièges de votre balcon et que vous aurez hâte d aller dormir ailleurs pour être bien à l aise

This hotel has a perfect location and you pay for it. The actual hotel was OK, but I stayed in far more special and nicer hotels for much less money throughout my time in India. I had to have them change the sheets when I arrived, as they were all dirty. My hot water wasn't working one night and they claimed to fix it but it was still freezing. I was secretly eyeing Udai Kothi across the street and wishing I was staying there. The room itself was big, I had a great view and my bed was comfortable. As a solo female traveler I felt safe here. I took the sunset boat ride and the boat was very old & moldy. The ride was pretty subpar and expensive. The restaurant on the roof was wonderful - I highly recommend going there!

This tired hotel right by the lake looked a bit lost in time. Service was slow and rather offhand. Breakfast was really a 3 star offering. The much talked about restaurant on the roof was pretty standard. Room was fine with a lovely balcony overlooking the lake.

The only reason I rated this hotel “Terrible” is because of the caged birds inside. Among several Hotels in Udaipur, only Lake Pichola Hotel has CAGED BIRDS. I don’t think having them makes a huge difference. They should free the poor birds.

We had Lake View rooms with a balcony, lovely hotel, look no further if staying in Udiapur, location is great close to everything. Rooms are very nice. breakfast great. The staff are excellent knowledgeable and extremely helpful . Decor is lovely thought the hotel.

I spent two weeks here while seeing the city and attending a friend's wedding. The hotel overlooks the stunning Lake Pichola and is situated across from the Old City area. It is within a 4 minute walking distance of the Old City, including the Jagdish temple, the City Palace, and lots of shopping, yet it provides a serene space to relax from the busy city. The staff were amazing, helping us book a yoga lesson, take a boat tour of the lake, book cars to reach the airport, and make dinner reservations across the city. I would absolutely stay here again. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. The rooftop overlooking the lake was a lovely place to rest during the day with some drinks. The restaurant at the top of the hotel, Upre, had some of the best food in the city and staying at the hotel allowed us to get a table easily.

The service was great. Very accommodating to a few special requests we had. The architecture and decor of the hotel are very cool and make you Feel like you are in a hotel from 100 years ago. And I mean that in a very good way. This is not some generic hotel. We had room 108, which is the floor above the lobby. The hotel is very quiet, which is why we picked it. Away from the hustle and bustle of the main part of the tourist area, but just a short 5 minute walk away. The hotel is built almost flush to the water (like ***y buildings here), so it was nice to be able to sit on our balcony and have water right now and watch boats on the lake and thins on the other side. The hot water tanks for the shower are a bit small. My wife and I had to be a bit careful for that we could each have enough hot water for showers. This wasn’t particularly hard to deal with, but I do want to note that.

Mesmerizing view from the hotel ! Fabolous location ! Limited breakfast options could increase some ! Needs to work on hospitality! Dilip singh from uppre roof top restaurant was the only one who made our meals so comfortable especially for my little one ! Poor housekeeping service no hot water
