Great location (though I regretted not booking the Hilton doubletree around the corner). Feels more like an Airbnb serviced by a hotel. Checkin process was confusing (had to go to a different hotel - hotel said we got instructions but we checked and had nothing from them). We got great restaurant recommendations from the front desk attendant. The coffee in the room is not free - they charge a euro for each capsule. Who does that these days? We paid for breakfast as part of our stay. Breakfast was ok but very weak compared to most places at this price we have stayed at. The coffee (as per of breakfast) was wonderful. Parking was cumbersome - we had to park in a nearby garage which was a good 10 minute walk away. Overall a solid experience but we expected more given price and alternatives in Trieste. Trieste itself was marvelous especially miramare castle

Excelente ubicacion para conocer Trieste, la suite cuenta con todos los servicios y muy limpia. No cuenta con recepcion, hay que ir a un hotel que esta a la vuelta.
El desayuno muy recomendable y el cafe exquisito.

Este hotel ocupa un antiguo palacete de la via san Nicolo en el centro de Trieste, pero carece de los servicios adecuados para ser un hotel de cuatro estrellas. La recepción esta en el hotel Intercontinental, careve de gimnasio y el desayuno es bastante deficiente. En vez de ser un buffet, tienes que pedir la comida a los camareros que son bastante lentos y además la oferta es mediocre. Cuatfo lonchas de jamón cocido, unos cruasanes industriales y un diminuto zumo de naranja. Si quieres un extra como salmón tienes que pagarlo aparte. En España su categoría no pasaría de 3 estrellas.

Ideal porque: A. Sus habitaciones, aunque funcionan como las de un hotel, tienen cocina y son grandes (salón y comedor). B. El precio es asequible y, comparado con el resto (de menor o de mayor escala) está bastante acertado. C. Está ubicado en el centro, en una zona donde los ruidos no llegan, a pesar de estar al lado de todo. D. El edificio es un escándalo de bonito y hay muy pocas habitaciones. E. Si coges el desayuno, lo harás en la cafetería o terraza del Hotel Continentale (madre de este hotel) y es excelente. PD: el check-in se hace en el Hotel Continentale (está girando la esquina a cuatro pasos).

Great hotel in the center of Trieste. Close to Piazza Unita D’Italia as well as the Grand Canal. On great shopping street and lots of great restaurants nearby. Hotel offers reasonably priced car valet car service.

What an incredibly impressive historic building (1907) with updated, modern interiors. Units A and B are across the street from the Continentale Hotel, while units C and D are just around the corner. Staff at the hotel are wonderful, and breakfast is included. Daily housekeeping for the suites. The Palace Suites are incredibly quiet.

If you have a rental, very hard to get to. Parking is a pain and that’s with the ability to valet. The office to check in differs from the place you stay and is confusing. It’s mentioned in the reservation but the address is not provided. The air conditioning didn’t work well and it stated they had laundry (washer) but our suite/apartment didn’t have one. (We selected it because there was one). This is an apartment not a hotel. Breakfast was not included and over priced. It was fine for one night but expensive.

Lots of positives including an excellent location, friendly staff and great space for families. The room is nothing fancy but clean and efficient. Check in was difficult as we actually had to check in the hotel next door and get a key, but there were no clear instructions and it took a while to figure that out. Note you are staying in apartment like building and have to walk to the hotel which is near by though. Some of our family members were staying at a different hotel for a cheaper price near by and their room and hotel were significantly better. Anyways Trieste is charming city and this is a solid overall hotel but there may be other options worth exploring.
