I don't often give 1 star reviews but there this hotel's representation is so misleading that there is no alternative. At best a 2 star hotel given the lack of ammenities and service. Hotel room was dirty; building materials in the "garden"; no restaurant; awful breakfast. We were meant to have a sea view but we were on a lower floor and could not see the sea (I am not convinced that any rooms have a sea view given the building opposite).

We had a nice time, the rooms are clean and cool. The view in our family room was particularly nice, with a balcony. The staff was friendly and helpful so the service was great (we had issues with the fridge in our room and it was fixed as soon as we came back to the room). But I just can‘t agree with this being a five star establishment, which is what I payed for. The rooms are perfectly clean but there are stains on the curtains and on the wall, bathroom appliances are old and it shows. Breakfast was alright but not a five star experience either, bread was mostly stale, butter was a melted greasy mess, coffee was a disappointment. The spa area was also very clean but only open for guest for 4 hours, from 4-8 pm -which is a shame it could have so much improved our stay!

This hotel is not 5* hotel
The room is quite small and even the window is closed you still hear a lot of noise from the street.
The toilet seat is broken and breakfast is poor.
I will not recommend this hotel.

If you expect a 5 star experience, please forgot it. Hotel is located on the street side, o a very busy road. We asked for a sea room, which was very noisy, because of the window, which was not closing properly. Internet is working fine. Sleeping quality is on average level, all the furniture is an old and no refurbished style. Personnel is very polite, willing to assist you in any way. But the problem remain with the atmosphere, which is very old. Is you want to have an access to the sea side, you have to choose an upper floor. Spa is o.k. with a medium swimming pool. Breakfast is very poor for a 5 star expectation. Maybe 4*.

First this hotel says it’s 5 star but it’s barely 3 so here they are false advertising. Room numbers are written in paper and glued to the door if you can believe in hotel that advertises as 5 star. Then we enter the room and I see dirty walls not properly painted but the worse is the bathroom, toilet was dirty and not cleaned at all. In shower there are few tiles missing. It’s on noisy street so you hear traffic through windows which are old as building itself. Avoid this dirty unsanitary place! There are so much better hotels in Trst for the same price. This place is in level of hostel and not hotel.

This is hotel with excellent placement, just near center of Tireste, then we went for swimming across the street , there are city beaches when you can enjoy Adriatic sea. Stuff is amazing very professional, speaking languages, everyting is clean, in the bar we had welcome drink prosseco and fresh lemonade , with some amusebuche , then romms are very nice clean, beds are super comfortable , we had nighr sleep like babys, atmosphere in the hotel very positive , and old style class. There are bikes to use for free if you want, Morning breakfast was fantastic, the products fruits, everything was fresh and very good qualityn eggs we had hot warm , they make for you in kitchen, yogurt so good quality, then sitting on the terasse whil eating breakfast and overlooking the Adriatic sea was the real pleasure! Sincerely, we will come back to this hotel becouse we adore it , and we were sad to leave it , they were also king to reserve for us dinner in very good restaurant not far away from hotel. Looking forward to come againg in Grief Maria Theresia , and yes parking for the car is fantastic , there are place for everybody, and you do not need to worry about. Best regards to this wonderful hotel and their stuff .

We had the best welcome ever!
Our car broke down and we had to find a place to spend the night and arrived late and tired to the hotel and they were super sweet and they offered us a Prosecco and little snack to relax after the car nightmare we had. We ended staying another night as the place is beautiful, the shower has the perfect pressure, the bed is comfy and the staff is so nice. ♥️

Ho viaggiato 30 anni per il mondo per lavoro e devo dire che l’hotel lo considero da 3 stelle e non da 5. Il prezzo (vero che era durante la barcolana) partiva da 250€ la doppia. Considero buona la colazione, il personale super gentile e disponibile. La camera era pulita, ma spoglia, impersonale insomma non certo sa 5 stelle. Il bagno da rivedere nel suo generale. Se fosse un hotel da 120/130 € a notte ci tornerei, ma non a 200 e oltre euro, ho trovato hotel migliori a Trieste centro a buon prezzo per un 3 o 4 stelle. Non voglio offendere nessuno, ma questo è il mio personale parere in base alle mie esperienze e conoscenze ed auguro a tutto il personale il meglio che possano avere in quanto se lo meritano .
