El Hotel Marad es un hotel muy pequeño, muy lejos de Nápoles para tener un ambiente relajado, pequeño y amigable. El hotel se encuentra a 10-12 minutos a pie de la estación de tren local que hace el acceso a las principales ubicaciones de arriba muy fácil, más Herculaneum, Sorrento y más allá, y los puertos de Nápoles para barcos a las islas, etc. El hotel está muy bien mantenido y muy ocupado. La habitación era confortable (incluso con dos habitaciones dobles y dos solas), bien mantenida y el balcón es decente. El hotel ofrece un restaurante de calidad y un servicio de calidad a precios razonables, y el equipo de espera es excelente. No hay muchos negativos aquí en absoluto, sólo que el desayuno no parece corresponder al resto de la oferta de Marad. Por último, vale la pena explorar la ciudad local (Torre del Grecco) que tiene algunos restaurantes muy buenos y, si tiene niños, un par de buenos clubes de playa donde puedes campezar por el día con los locales. Se siente como si esta zona sólo ahora se abre realmente a los turistas, y crea una gran base.

This hotel is a mixed bag of great and not so great. The location is very good for hoping onto trains (best use the circumvesuviana line) to Pompeii, Herculaneum and Sorrento. The best train line to/from Naples and Sarno is the one outside the hotel. The staff were very helpful and attended to our requests for information and equipment (for the room). On the last point, we booked a 2 bedroom apartment that was very spacious, comfortable beds, nice views and very clean. However, while the apartment had a fridge freezer, it did not have a sink unit or any utensils to self cater. We asked for a kettle, some cups, spoons and glasses etc so we could prepare drinks and snacks, but it would have been nice if these could have been provided as standard. There are a couple of decent supermarkets nearby but check the opening times, especially on Sundays/holidays. We can highly recommend the Ristorante pizzeria Da Ciccio for food and drinks. The key down point is arguably beyond the control of the hotel but we were disappointed with the amount of dog mess on the streets near the hotel and in Torre Del Greco generally; this appears to be a local issue as the problem was not as prominent in Sorrento, Naples, Capri or Stabia. Overall a good value hotel with lovely staff but room for improvement regarding the room facilities.

Buena buena beringe bien. Siéntate en la cama y ver a Sorento y Capri Island lejos. Hay una playa justo delante de usted y viene un camión de comida en la noche. Es una atracción oculta que sólo vienen los italianos. Todo el personal es amigable y limpio cada día. La habitación es grande y espaciosa. El desayuno es gratuito, pero el menú no es diferente. Hay un parque de temas pequeño junto a él, que abre cada fin de semana. Hay muchos italianos en los fines de semana. El mar es realmente hermoso. Pero es un poco difícil moverse sin un coche. Sólo tienes que ir en tren, pero se tarda unos 15 minutos a pie de la estación de tren. No es bueno caminar porque no es bueno caminar. Recomendado para alquilar. Es bueno tener una mart decente justo a la puerta.
