This was my third visit to Carlton Court. Lynn and Paul were extremely welcoming as always and I had a lovely stay. The breakfast was excellent with the scrambled egg done to perfection. I stayed in Fern on the first floor which was extremely comfortable and the bed gave me a good night's sleep. I have to mention the delicious chocolate flapjack that was waiting for me in my room on arrival as it was delicious. On my last morning I had to leave early before it was time for breakfast. Lynn very kindly prepared me an excellent breakfast/lunch to take with me and yet more of that beautiful flapjack. Highly recommended and I look forward to returning again.

Lynn and Paul are excellent hosts, providing modern spacious rooms, great breakfast selection and free onsite parking. We stayed in Larkspur, a spacious room on first floor, overlooking the lovely garden. Carlton Court is in a great location within easy walking distance to the Seafront. There are some excellent restaurants just a short walk away. We also walked to the Princess Theatre to see a show, so worth checking what's on if you are staying. We would definitely stay in Carlton Court on our next visit to Torquay.

Our favourite place to stay in Torquay. Visiting Lyn and Paul is like going to visit family. All the rooms are excellent. We’ve tried quite a few of them and the quality is consistent and definitely 5 stars. It has xcellent food and the perfect location. Not far to walk into town for the beach and restaurants. Central for visiting lots of places.

We have just returned from another wonderful trip to Carlton Court. Lynn and Paul are fantastic hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them, the rooms are bright and clean with lots of storage, the rooms come with robes, slippers a safe and tea and coffee making facilities. The homemade cakes/muffins are divine, so is the homemade marmalade and jam. There is parking at the Guest House, which means that you don't need to use your car during your stay, you can easily walk into the Town there are also good bus and train links. We will definitely be returning

We stayed here for a couple of nights, attending a conference. Carlton Court more than lives up to its 5* rating. A first rate guest house, immaculately presented and spotlessly clean. We were in Gerbera which is a large ground floor bed room overlooking the garden with a comfortable large king sized bed. Three large windows give plenty of light and the small fridge was stocked with fresh milk and bottled water. A nice touch was the homemade flapjack. The en-suite is a decent size with a bath and separate shower. Lynn and Paul were great hosts, welcoming and helpful. There was a good selection on the breakfast menu expertly cooked by Lynn. All in all a hidden gem, quiet but only a short distance to the seafront. We would definitely stay here again if we were visiting Torquay.

Lovely guest house and owners we have stayed several times spotlessly clean and very comfortable rooms all with little extra touches that makes your stay that bit more special an amazing breakfast menu and all delicious! Parking available and great location

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were looked after fantastically. The Carlton Court is a beautiful house in beautiful gardens and has private parking. Our room was gorgeous and the en-suite comfortable and large. The breakfast was really good and very filling. All in all a five star stay. Thank you

Lovely hosts, clean rooms, freshly cooked breakfast, quiet location, onsite parking.The room was immaculately clean. The owners could not do enough to support our stay in Torquay. Torr station is a 5 min walk if you are travelling by train.

Recently stayed and we really had a great time . Very welcoming, spacious and light . Rooms are large and clean , modern & well appointed . Also there is a lovely Garden that you can relax in whilst grabbing a drink from the well stocked honesty bar . Breakfast is lovely with a varied choice to cater for all . The location is good too as the property is only a 10 minute walk away from some bars & restaurants & Torquay beach front . I would highly recommend Carlton Court if you fancy a trip to Torquay , you will love it . We will definitely return .
