Bentley Lodge

We felt like at home ! Thank you for your warm hospitality !we hope we can once come again ! Debbie took care of us with a lot of good recommendations . We loved her breakfast and the selfmade fudges . Bentley Lodge is for us the prime adress in Torquay !

Just back from a four night stay at Bentley Lodge and as with previous stays first class in every way. Debbie and Richard are excellent hosts with nothing too much trouble. All rooms are en-suite and beautifully decorated with lovely comfortable beds, ample storage and good quality bedding. There are some nice touches like homemade fudge (Rich) and rocky road (Debbie) and a bowl of sweets, also a small fridge with filtered water and fresh milk, replaced daily if required. Great choice of breakfast, fruit, cereal, full English, omelettes ect. A beautiful garden to relax in, off road parking and plenty of advice on dining out and places to go if required. The train station is a 5 minutes walk away and Torquay sea front about 20- 25 minutes. We have no hesitation in recommending Bentley Lodge if you are looking for accommodation in Torquay.

Highly recommend, offered drinks upon arrival after 8 hour journey. Room fresh and clean, with tea and coffee facilities. Sweets treats in room, nice touch. Debbie and Richard very helpful. Richard thanks for dropping us to the station and Debbie thanks for giving a unexpected leaving gift. Short stay but enjoyable.

What a charming place to feel at home, Debbie and Richard are so welcoming and really can’t do enough for us when we stayed. The room was bright and airy, spotlessly clean, there was tea and coffee facilities and fresh milk everyday. Would definitely recommend Bentley Lodge. It is at least a 10 minute walk to the promenade. There is a good selection of breakfast and if you need anything that is not on the menu they would be able to get it for you. Also on site parking.

What a fantastic B&b, superb breakfast and nothing was to much trouble. Arrived to a complimentary drink and treats in our room,bedroom was spotless and very nice with a fridge with milk and water and tea/coffee machine. Thank you we will definitely be back.

Stayed at Bentley Lodge 25th/27th of May,lovely couple, spotlessly clean B&B,excellent breakfast, wine and beer on arrival lovely homemade rocky road and fudge in room,homemade fruit cake for journey home ,all the other little extras were great ,booked another stay before we departed would 100%recommend 🙂

We've just had another wonderful stay with Debbie and Rich,who made us so welcome as always. A beautiful room with everything you could wish for and a superb breakfast. Also a beautiful garden to relax in. Another visit soon planned in September!

A very nice, well-kept accommodation in new condition. Debbie (and of course her husband) is very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast in a nice breakfast room. When we checked out, Debbie gave us a piece of cake for the way home. The accommodation can be highly recommended.
