Hotel Dar Ismail Tabarka

We stayed for 5 nights as a family of four there were some ups and downs Advantages : big pool, suitable for children A Private beach which I found fantastic The pool area is very nice with a lot of greenery and views over the beach and the mountain The Hotel staff is very polite and hard working The food tastes good i appreciated it although I couldn’t eat much because of the crowds. Disadvantages For the price we payed and for a 4 star hotel The reception area is always crowded and disorganized also very very old , Kind of depressing really The restaurant is more than disorganized I can’t believe how people can function in such conditions Very very crowded and also very old tables and not so clean plates or covers if you can find them. No wifi available in bedrooms only the reception and barbecue area. The signal also is very bad. Overall I would give it at most 3 stars I thing it deserves to be rated as a 3 stars hotel not 4 not 5 The only solution is to renovate as soon as possible and to change the restauration policy in order to make it more organized and enjoyable

Ubicado en el noroeste de Túnez, Tabarka fue originalmente un antiguo puerto pesquero y ahora se ha convertido en una nueva atracción turística. El Festival del Coral Rojo en julio y agosto de cada año atrae a innumerables turistas extranjeros. Las colinas del suroeste son onduladas, con corcho (la exportación de corcho se ha convertido en una fuente de ingresos para los residentes locales) y robles. Hay muchos animales y plantas en el bosque, lo que es ideal para la caza y la recolección de setas. El claro manantial de las montañas contiene una variedad de oligoelementos que pueden tratar enfermedades como las infecciones del tracto respiratorio superior y la bronquitis. La historia de Tabaka es rica y variada, con dominio fenicio, romano, árabe y otomano. La principal atracción de Tabarka es el fuerte genovés, que se encuentra en una isla no muy lejos del centro de la ciudad. La fortaleza se remonta a mediados del siglo XVI, cuando Tabaka fue gobernada por los genoveses. El estilo principal era genovés, pero también contenía algunas fortificaciones construidas por los otomanos.
