I enjoyed staying at this hotel with my family and friends. It is situated on top a small hill on one end of Shengshan Island. Staff can pick you up from the island’s dock and drive you to the hotel - which is great if it is super hot or if you get seasick on the ferry ride (1 hour from Shanghai, 3.5 hours from Ningbo) from the China mainland. The hotel has impressive rooms with large bathrooms / a tub, showy / “baller” furniture, and thrilling views of the sea. Our room had a 270 degrees view - we received a free room upgrade from the generous hotel. The hotel has a solid morning breakfast (not buffet) included in the room rate. Soft drinks and beers can also be bought. The hotel has an outdoor pool and it is next to a seaside road that can serve as a running route (there is a running path part of the way). One length of the island, from the hotel to the East Cliff, is about 5.25 km one-way. The run is more undulating (hilly) than you might expect, but it is not too bad. Bring suntan lotion if you go in the summer. I’d say 2-3 nights is enough to get the full experience. This is a really strong hotel considering that it is in a small market and that the whole island is a bit isolated. I am glad I went and am happy to recommend if you decide to give it a try.

An excellent stay on Shengshan Island. Before we even arrived, the owner already contacted us on WeChat with information about our stay and gave us very comprehensive tips for our stay. The hotel is very conveniently located, next to the boat port, the main entry onto Shengshan, and it is just across it. The owner was waiting for us when we arrived off the boat and helped us get our luggage. They have a very convenient luggage lift which means that you don't have to lug anything up the stairs. The hotel feels clean, luxurious, comfy and homely at the same time. It is a family run hotel and the reception is very warm. Our room was very clean and everything that was needed was provided. The view was spectacular from our room (image provided). The bed was very comfy and the lounger was perfect for watching the sea within the comfort of your room. The pool downstairs is great to cool off after a day out exploring. The breakfast provided was very nice and simple, some youtiao (Chinese fried dough, similar to churros), soy milk and sweet and savoury buns. All in all an excellent experience, and we thank the hosts for everything.

Todo el camino sin ángulo muerto es limpio, las instalaciones de hardware son muy buenas, el precio es muy alto, el servicio es entusiasta y intimidad, vale la pena recomendar, ¡todos rápidos en las vacaciones de fin de semana!

想念了蠻久的枸杞島，有朋友極力推薦這家民宿，果然如朋友所説，有家的味道。一到碼頭，老闆娘就安排了司機來接，午餐時間，問我們想吃啥，因為有點暈船，就説先緩緩，喝點茶，推薦了比較清淡的菜餚，非常貼心。每個房間都能看到海景，每天可以聽着海浪聲醒來。房間設施齊全，整潔乾淨，一樓的大堂很寬敞，吃飯或下午茶客人之間相互不影響。做的菜餚也是每頓不重樣，海鮮很新鮮，非常好吃，還一直溝通問大家有什麼需求，儘量來滿足。特別是頂樓有一個大天台，一覽無餘，能俯瞰整片海。到各個景區叫車也都方便，這次的入住體驗非常棒，以後有機會還會選擇“我取”。房間忘記拍照了。

Nos quedamos en el atractivo con luces de mar, para la vista del mar, pone la cabeza fuera de la ventana y mira a la izquierda y vea un poco. La habitación está muy bien diseñada, haciendo el mayor de los espacios inusuales, y aunque soy alto, no he podido golpear mi cabeza en las luces. La habitación es muy confortable y está bien ventilada, con las ventanas abiertas no hay necesidad de aire acondicionado aunque el tiempo era frío y brisa. El hotel dispone de un amplio aparcamiento cerca del hotel, y el propietario amistoso estaba disponible en video para guiarnos al hotel, de lo contrario muy difícil de encontrar. Nos quedaríamos sin duda otra vez.

We had a lovely stay at Sea Cliff Hotel for May 1st break. This is what I liked: - buying ship ticket for May holiday was mission impossible, starting with Tickets App not accepting foreign passports. Hotel helped me with arranging the tickets both ways, even after there were no tickets online (sold out in 20 min) - they arranged a pick us up on arrival and brought us back to the pier on departure - hotel has an excellent sea view location, very silent and sea centric rooms, same for restaurant - everything is modern, I specifically liked ability to share Apple screens on TV in the room, great way to review photos and watch own movies in the evening - good breakfast 8 to 9AM, you can come 8:45 and enjoy a late breakfast as well; we also had late lunch in hotel restaurant on arrival, great food, great to seat outside, flexible working hours (not closed 14-17!), actually I liked their meals more than what we had on the main beach top restaurant, finally reception can brew you a coffee though bit hot - there is 20 min walk from the hotel for a great bay and coffee place to watch sunset, excellent experience and no need to wake up early - hotel was always online on WeChat to address any issues or questions, including how to organize a day, fantastic services! - hotel has own beach area, looks like good to swim, I will consider for summer, water is clean on the island, and this is just couple of hours from Shanghai - small drawback: fishing boats pass by from early morning, this may disturb your morning sleep ;) - other thing the bed is a bit too hard for my back, but where did you see soft beds in China? Overall: highly recommended!

Una casa de 150 planas, con tres habitaciones para los otros seis personas, lo suficientemente grande como para un apartamento. No está lejos del borde de la arena de Dong, caminar por la playa por cinco minutos. El entorno de la zona está bien, la verdezización es muy buena, el agua de las montañas está bien. Las instalaciones son un poco viejas, un poco húmedas, el 5o está bien, se calcula que hay muchos copos de verano, y la habitación del patio es en realidad un balcón, y es muy sencillo, no puede hablar del patio. No hay nada que merezca ser mencionado.
