kandy 傑特威畫廊酒店 安靜舒適的休憩之地，服務細節有待提升 入住了Kandy的傑特威畫廊酒店，總體來説是一段令人放鬆的體驗。 酒店的房間寬敞明亮，配有陽台，我很幸運地住到了正對泳池的房間，視野極佳。房間的舒適度很好，每天早上醒來，推開陽台門，眼前就是泳池和遠處的大自然，十分愜意。酒店靠着斯里蘭卡著名的馬哈維利河（Mahaweli River），周圍的生態環境非常好，空氣也非常好。經常能看到各種鳥類和鷹，非常適合喜歡安靜和親近自然的人。 泳池是我最喜歡的部分。幾乎全天候開放，清晨或傍晚游泳時，感覺整個泳池和天地都屬於我，讓人倍感放鬆。餐廳也正對泳池，用餐時既能享受美景，又能感受到自然的靜謐。每天早餐後，我都會坐在平台上看書或處理工作，氣氛安靜，温度適宜，回想在整個斯里蘭卡20多天的旅程中，這裡是為數不多讓我能安心讀書的地方之一。 酒店距離市區較遠，可能對希望探索Kandy市區的遊客來説有二三十分鐘的開車時間。其次，服務細節的專業度還有提升空間。例如，入住時有服務人員表演當地舞蹈，但明顯有些敷衍。之後，酒店安排了一位專屬服務員，並遞給我一個手機供隨時聯繫，但她的服務顯得比較生疏。例如在房間時，我問窗簾是手動還是電動的，她回答是手動後，演示了一下又拉開了窗簾，而當時已是晚上6、7點，天色完全黑了，完全沒有打開的必要。同樣一位服務員，每天早上吃早餐時，都會問我要吃什麼。我説吃麥片時，總會問是加椰糖漿還是蜂蜜，而我連續四天都選擇了椰糖漿，但每天還是會被重複詢問。都是小事，但也可以看出服務更多是一個形式。 總的來説，Kandy的傑特威畫廊酒店是一個適合放鬆和親近自然的地方。它的房間、泳池和周圍環境都很好，性價比也高。如果能在服務細節上進一步完善，主動、貼心地去服務，整體體驗會更加令人滿意。 A Peaceful and Comfortable Retreat, but with Room for Service Improvement I stayed at the Jetwing Kandy Gallery during my visit to Kandy, and overall, it was a relaxing experience. The rooms are spacious and bright, with balconies. I was fortunate to have a room overlooking the pool, which offered a fantastic view. The room was very comfortable, and every morning, I enjoyed waking up, stepping onto the balcony, and soaking in the tranquility of the surroundings. The hotel is located by the famous Mahaweli River, and the natural environment around it is excellent, with frequent sightings of various birds and eagles. It’s a great place for those who love peace and nature. The pool was my favorite part of the hotel. It’s open almost all day, and swimming in the morning or evening felt like having the entire pool and sky to myself, a truly serene experience. The restaurant also overlooks the pool, and dining there offers both visual and sensory enjoyment. After breakfast each day, I would sit on the terrace, read a book, or work. It was quiet, and the temperature was perfect—not too hot. This hotel was one of the few places during my 20-day trip in Sri Lanka where I could truly relax and enjoy some peaceful reading time. However, the hotel has some shortcomings in its service. First, it’s located quite far from the city center, which might not be convenient for those looking to explore Kandy. Second, the quality of service felt unrefined. For example, upon check-in, staff members performed a traditional song and dance, but it felt half-hearted. Later, I was assigned a personal service staff member and given a phone for direct contact. However, the staff member seemed inexperienced. For instance, when I asked if the curtains were manual or electric, they demonstrated how to close them but then reopened them, even though it was already 6-7 p.m. and completely dark outside. These small details reflected a lack of polish in the service. Another minor issue was at breakfast. Every morning, I chose cereal and was asked if I preferred coconut syrup or honey. I answered “coconut syrup” every time, but the staff still asked me the same question every day. While it’s a small matter, it suggests room for improvement in their service process. Overall, the Jetwing Kandy Gallery is a great place to relax and connect with nature. The rooms, pool, and surrounding environment are excellent. If the hotel could enhance its service details, such as being more attentive to guests’ habits and preferences, the experience would be even better.

El hotel de villas está situado en la montaña, el cuarto tiene piscinas propias, el entorno del hotel en su conjunto es grandioso! Especialmente la cena del restaurante es muy recomendada, 9 Doucesri Lanka comida local, con cocineros especializados y música, el precio es ligeramente precario.

One of the most amazing properties i have stayed at. Both Bandhara and Madu, the butler and chef, were amazing. They were attentive, responsive and spot on..great work guys..very impressed. The property does full justice to the $. The location, the chants from the Buddhist temple in the valley create the utmost serene atmosphere. Every amenity is top end and every detail looked after. Will visit again for sure and will highly recommend..cheers

Este hotel tiene muchos problemas de gestión: (1) discriminar a los huéspedes chinos, pagamos el pago completo de la reserva de la habitación de Navidad en agosto, no permitimos reembolsos ni apoyamos cambios; pero los dos días anteriores a su ingreso de repente nos dijo que no había habitación y nos arreglamos a media hora del Pavillón real; (2) No hay tiempo para que se coma a las once y media, para que se coma a las doce; El entorno del hotel es muy bueno, el alcohol es gratuito, tres paquetes de comida completos, es el servicio es demasiado malo.

We had a wonderful stay at Mirage, it was such a peaceful oasis outside the city, it was very relaxing to sit on the terrace and listen to the birdsong. We ate at the hotel every evening of our stay, the meals were delicious with plenty of choice. Breakfast was equally as good. The staff were kind and friendly. The pool was magnificent, kept spotlessly clean and a pleasure to use. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Excellent view of the Kandy Lake, great English style breakfast, top class accommodation with friendly hosting by the manager. If you come to Kandy, you must choose this hotel, no cap~

El hotel es hermoso y moderno. Nos quedamos sólo una noche, pero la experiencia fue muy agradable. La habitación era limpia y moderna. La piscina era grande, estaba caliente y también tenían un gimnasio bien equipado. El desayuno buffet también fue muy bueno.

El hotel es un hotel agradable con una gran vista al río. Algunos de los muebles de las habitaciones están un poco fechados y podrían hacerlo con algunos DIY. La iluminación de la habitación podría mejorarse y el olor dentro del lavabo debería ser mejor gestionado. La habitación era muy confortable, las habitaciones eran muy espaciosas y las instalaciones del hotel eran buenas.

¡Un complejo enorme e impresionante con una historia fascinante! Incluso ofrecen un recorrido histórico a pie, pero lamentablemente no hubo suficientes inscritos para realizarlo. Si buscas una estancia con ambiente colonial, este es un lugar ideal. Recomiendo simplemente pasear para descubrirlo por ti mismo. Además, está justo a orillas del lago Kandy, así que es un paseo muy agradable (y no está lejos del Centro Cultural de Kandy ni del Templo del Diente Sagrado). La comida estaba buena, pero el servicio a veces dejaba un poco que desear. En el bufé faltaban cosas como pinzas o un paño para cubrir las asas de las bandejas (que estaban calientes al tacto), pero hay muchos camareros, así que seguro que lo revisarán.

I absolutely loved this hotel! The location was great, and the views were nice. I only wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy more of the peaceful atmosphere. My room was cozy and relaxing, and I especially loved the bathtub which was perfect for unwinding after a long day. The infinity pool was another highlight with gorgeous ocean views, though it was a bit on the cool side. I do wish it had been heated, but it was still a beautiful spot to relax. Room service was great too! Good selection and reasonably priced for a hotel. Cons: On my last day, I treated myself to a 90-minute aromatherapy massage at the spa. Unfortunately, I’d rate the spa a 5/10. Living in Thailand has definitely spoiled me with incredible massages, so I admit my standards are high! Still, I think the spa could use a bit of a refresh. The rooms smelled a bit old and weren’t very visually appealing. It was also quite cold during the body scrub and massage, which made it hard to fully relax. Breakfast was okay, but I wish there were more Western-style options available. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again. Everything about the hotel itself was lovely, I’d just skip the spa next time!
