En general, tuve una buena estancia, como lo hago habitualmente en este hotel. Las habitaciones son siempre limpias, cómodas y muy bien mantenidas. La mayoría de los miembros del personal estaban calientes, profesionales y se fueron de su manera para hacer que mi estancia sea agradable. El hotel está en una zona de la ciudad de Vijay, donde se encuentran los mejores lugares de visita y se encuentran en una zona de la ciudad de Vijay. La habitación de la habitación era muy buena, pero no se podía hacer nada. El personal resuelve el problema cada vez, pero todavía no era conveniente volver al escritorio delantero después de un largo día de salida. La mejor manera de hacerlo es encargarse de la comida y de la restauración de la habitación. El día siguiente, desarrollé envenenamiento alimentario y estaba violentamente enfermo para la semana que viene. Aunque no puedo decir que ciertamente estaba relacionado, el tiempo después del accidente de vuelo me dejó un poco preocupado por las normas de higiene alimentaria. Espero que se hayan producido incidentes aislados, ya que en general he tenido una estancia muy positiva aquí y todavía considero volver la próxima vez que estoy en India.

The location is good, the amenities, welcoming check in, the bell boy service, room service are all good, it did not impose at all. Breakfast was good too. The pros is that it's a really good hotel to stay in. The cons, I didn't catch any. The room facilities seem new and modern with a vintage aesthetic, it didn't hit me that this might be an old hotel till I went to the pool. The concierge that manages your rides and food deliveries are great too

To be honest, everything was awesome. I liked how brightly lit the room is and it just makes it even cleaner and comfy. The staff are attentive and responsive, always ready to assist and serve. The only misfortune was that insects gathered all over my closet wall on the 2nd day. However, the housekeeping team was swift to come over and clean the closet at 9pm when I reported it, changing my bedsheet as well and even offered me a change of room. Overall, I would still choose this hotel the next time that I’m back in Chennai. They have the comfort and service nailed down and handles problem professionally with satisfactory response.

The food is good for a 3 star hotel but it is not at all at the level of a 5 star hotel. The staff was excellent - especially Sneha M. who helps guests at the lobby and offers quick and effective solutions and also another Sneha who works at the restaurant. The music 🎶 in the restaurant is the worst I heard in any hotel in India. It is two types of music (classical Indian and also western) which are played at the same time! It is ridiculous and annoying and it is also too loud which is why some of the staff look miserable. The chef was walking around the dining room exchanging pleasantries with guests but he should be on the kitchen controlling what goes on there. The ”chai masala” had no taste of ginger and the milk was so burned that it kept steaming for a whole hour (it was undrinkable so I returned it). . The rooms are what you expect to find in a hotel that was considered luxurious in the 1990's. Unfortunately, the air conditioning system is still the original one and it can no longer be set (it can only be switched on or off).

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, room with excellent service in which we had dinner. Food was good, and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. The room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Had a wonderful stay at GRT Chennai! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. The location is very convenient, making it easy to get around the city. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. Overall, a very pleasant and relaxing experience—highly recommended for anyone visiting Chennai!

Returning to this location after eight years, I was hoping for the same 5star experience I once enjoyed. Unfortunately, it’s not quite what it used to be, and the property is beginning to show its age. On a positive note, the staff were warm and courteous throughout—from the reception to the restaurant team. Their professionalism and friendliness was a highlight of the stay. The restaurant manager Nazim was helpful. However, the room was disappointing. Upon entering, there was a strong musty odor. When I mentioned this to the front desk, I was told all the rooms have this smell and that it would dissipate in about 10 minutes—but unfortunately, it lingered. It seems guests may simply become accustomed to it over time. Not me.. lol. The Colony restaurant offered a decent breakfast, though dinner not that much. It felt overcrowded and cramped, and the buffet menu was not the greatest, with food quality was just average. The key strengths of this location remain its convenient setting, friendly staff, and ample parking. With some updates and improvements, it could once again live up to its former reputation.

El hotel puede ser convenientemente equipado con un premio, pero se siente menos como un servicio de premio y más como un intento de aprovechar a los huéspedes. El desayuno de la habitación, sin embargo, ofrece una amplia variedad de opciones y probablemente fue la parte más reemplazante de la estancia.

The room is a total disappointment. Check in on 3-June-2026 for room 2066 (not to sure), change to 1004 and on 5th night, change again to 1020 due to beeping noise as the door is unable to close properly. My colleagues, Rasal PM and Muhamed Ali (2064 to 2020) either have only hot water and disappointing room.

Service good 👍🏾. As it should be, campared to the other Ramada by Wyndham. Im just very curious about the taxing system here in India. Compulsary tax, service tax and there's an option for ”optional tax”. Anyways, the hotel smells good. 😌
