Serenity resort Amazing hotel - would highly recommend staying here. We stayed at serenity resort for 2 nights on arriving at Koh Chang from Bangkok. The location is so so idyllic and relaxing, absolutely beautiful. We also stayed on the west side of the island for a couple of nights and while it is quieter on the east side of the island (ie, there is no point in leaving the resort in the evening as there is nothing really to do on the east side after dark) this is exactly what we were after. The staff could not be more helpful and accommodating. Food and drinks at the restaurant were great and reasonably priced. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Lovely view. As other reviews have said, if you are staying here you will likely want your own transport so you can explore. We rented a moped from the resort at a very reasonable price. If you want to rent a car make sure you have an intl driving permit (takes a few mins to obtain but must do whilst in the UK). There’s barely any traffic on this side of the island so the drive down to long beach at the south of the island felt very safe on a moped despite the hills (and would be the same in a car). The resort staff recommended us to do this and then get kayaks over to Koh ngam, which we did and was a great experience! The other option is to rent a taxi for a day (we were quoted c2500 baht for 6 hours) and they can drop you wherever you like and wait for you. Thanks again for a lovely stay at serenity resort!!

I don't understand why this hotel has so many good reviews, but I want to write honestly, as someone who has worked in tourism for 20 years and seen a lot. The hotel definitely doesn't live up to its category. The biggest downsides are: there's no sea, the tide is very low every day, so you definitely can't swim here, and the knee-deep water that comes in in the afternoon smells like fish, and even while you're sitting at breakfast, there's a very unpleasant fish smell. But if you want, there's a shuttle that takes you to a good beach several times a day. The pool is dirty with green water; I was snorkeling, and there were tons of hair and sand at the bottom. The water doesn't circulate. In the morning, they pour two buckets of chlorine to disinfect the pool, and then it turns blue for a short while. The hotel rooms are large and comfortable, but tired. The tiles and plumbing need replacing. There were a lot of ants and cockroaches in the room. When we reported them, a worker came to exterminate them and treat them with ant repellent. On the plus side, the room has a large TV with YouTube access, a refrigerator, a tea station, a comfortable bed, and daily cleaning and towel changes. Peacocks roam the grounds (but that's not the main reason to come here). Breakfast is modest; there's a coffee machine with real coffee, pancakes, omelets like everywhere else, sausages and ham, and fruit. There were no yogurts or cheeses, and the juices were watered down. A lot of the equipment in the gym is broken. It depends on your preference, but for me, the sea and pool are key features in a place like this, so I wouldn't go back. There are plenty of cheaper and better options on the coast.

Room with pool view - BOF + : Jolie vue, grande, calme (pas de voisin pour tester isolation des murs), propre. Matelas pas absolument agreables mais corrects. Réceptionnistes très agréables.⁹ - : Fortes odeurs d'écoulement dans la salle de bain qui se répandent dans la chambre, pas de lampes pour lire au lit (seulement dans des niches sur les côtés, ça n'est pas assez efficace) Pas de prise électrique à la salle de bain pour Brosses à dents ou rasoir. On nous à prêté une vieille prise multiple qui du coup occupe la seule prise près du lit dont nous avons besoin pour un respirateur. Les rideaux laissent passer lumière dès 7h00 Pas de coussin sur les fauteuils de terrasse qui font super mal aux fesses. Ecran télé minuscule et rideaux défraîchis. Nous avons eu la chambre pour 55,42€ sur Trip.comais quand on demande les prix pour rester 3 nuits de plus, on est a plus 90% du prix payé. On est partis ailleurs. En tout cas pas un 4 etoiles donc, OK à 2200 baht la deluxe pool view, si plus cher, allez visiter des établissements concurrents.

Mi novia y yo estamos viajando de mochileros y terminamos alojándonos aquí durante 3 noches porque se ajustaba a nuestro presupuesto. El único inconveniente es que no hay muchos restaurantes cerca, ya que la mayoría de los alojamientos son resorts a poca distancia. Aun así, la estancia fue increíble, las instalaciones excelentes, ojalá hubiéramos tenido más tiempo.

Esta es la segunda vez que elegimos este hotel. Habitaciones enormes, camas cómodas con sábanas de primera calidad, desayunos excelentes, amplios jardines y una playa magnífica. Sin embargo, el servicio fue decepcionante esta vez: no nos ayudaron con el equipaje al registrarnos, y lo más extraño es que cobran por una almohada extra. Una almohada por persona es gratis, pero por la segunda hay que pagar 50 baht por noche. ¡En veinte años viajando y cientos de hoteles, nunca me había encontrado con algo así! ¡Qué tacaños! Por lo demás, todo estuvo genial. Es recomendable alquilar una moto de inmediato; será aún más cómodo.

Бронировал два этажа в двух разных виллах, со мной заблаговременно связались, и предупредили что по одной будет замена, так как предыдущие гости захотели продлиться. Поменяли мне номер на большие апартаменты с видом на море, которые не могут не понравиться. На ko Chang был впервые, поэтому оцениваю произошедшее на 5++. Персональный, здоровенный КХРАПП дяде Сереже, и его сыну Владиславу, на месте отличный отзывчивый сервис. Второй номер тоже оправдал все ожидания и по расположению и по сервису. Поначалу скептически отнеслись к завтракам по 500 бат за человека, но по итогу поняли, что они определенно точно стоят того. Хороший шведский стол, натуральный кофе, выпечка. Неподалеку так же работает небольшое кафе, пробовали -еда хорошая, но со слов администратора о том что часто зарезервированы все столы (при их очевидной неполной посадке, сложилось впечатление, что либо в приоретете обслуживания соседние с кафе виллы, либо не очень хотят работать) Территория гигантская, судя по всему, включает несколько разных резортов, без мопеда будет тяжеловато преодолевать эти чудесно облагороженные территории. С чем нам опять же помогли работники сервиса, и после чекина нам подогнали технику прям к номерам. Пляжи и бичбары (в частности Shambala) с бассейнами вызвали полный восторг, объездив остров, могу сказать, что один из лучших пляжей оказался как раз под моим номером. Скидываю виды с пляжа напротив апартаментов 1128, фото жилья нет, только видео, поэтому попробую нарезать и закинуть сюда позже.

Очень уютный гостеприимный отель, питание очень хорошее, находится в удачном месте, не далеко от дороги, в отеле есть работник который везде и на завтраке встретит улыбкой и на пляже улыбкой от таких людей поднимается с утра настроение на весь день. Немного забывают положить полотенце в номере, но всегда ходят рядом и можно взять самим. Рецепшен для тех кто заезжает в ночь, ночью не работает, но так как паром ходит только до семи вечера, то для гостей с материка это не проблема. Спасибо за уютный отдых в вашем отеле.

Отдыхали в начале сентября. Приехали на 3 дня что бы отметить день рождения. Нам все очень понравилось. Все как мы и хотели: комфортно, красиво, уединенно. Наше бунгало выходило на море, у нас были свои шезлонги. Большой общий бассейн при отеле, с удовольствием там плавали. В море мы не плаваем, но гуляли по берегу утром и вечером. Завтраки отличные. Рядом находятся виллы разного размера, которые можно арендовать. Отель находится недалеко от пирса, что тоже плюс, не нужно ездить по серпантину

Although some areas of the resort are currently under renovation, the remaining facilities still function well and are able to support guests’ needs. The staff communicate well and are helpful for foreign visitors. In particular, Mr. Peter is very kind and shows a high level of responsibility in his service. Overall, the dinner was fair.

El hotel no incluía el desayuno, el hotel se veía muy elegante, la habitación estaba bien, la ubicación era buena, había mucha comida alrededor, pero la habitación del hotel tenía moho y olor, y había un olor a moho grave cuando entramos la habitación. Es lo mismo para ambas habitaciones, y luego solicitar otra habitación es lo mismo. El pedido no se puede cancelar, por lo que solo se puede enviar por una noche.
