At check-in, we were upgraded to a room with a larger bathroom featuring a bathtub 🛀 and a basin for foot soaking. We enjoyed several perks during our stay: • Complimentary fruit (pears and apples in November) available at the entrance. • Free tea in both the lobby and the room; the room is stocked with Pu’er red tea, two instant coffees, and plenty of free bottled water (at least 4 bottles). • Free admission to the China Pu’er Tea Expo Garden, located 30 km south of Pu’er – just present your hotel card, saving about 50 RMB per person. • Complimentary simple dinner served from 5 PM to 9 PM on the top floor (usually breakfast area) offering a homemade Chinese noodle dish, typically in broth. • Special promotion for free laundry service (limited items, likely a seasonal offer). Clothes are cleaned, folded, and returned within about 3 hours or half a day, left hanging on the door handle of your room—very quick service. Pros: • Central location on a main street with all necessary amenities nearby. • Numerous benefits as detailed above. Only downside: • No fridge in the room, which is typical in many Chinese hotels.

Oh my goodness I have never stayed in a place like this! We live in a noisy city and come here felt like being in heaven. So peaceful and quiet. Our kids loved trying to catch fireflies in the night. We took a walk quite a distance from our cabin towards the hills and came back whrn it was pretty dark. We were able to see the milky way galaxy across the sky and so many stars that the only other place we ever saw tjat many stars was back in my country in the village with no light pollution. Words cannot describe the tranquility of this placed the magnificence of nature and the peace and quite. The nights are so dark and quiet, felt like being somewhere in wild savanna. I heard some sounds of animals I had never heard before. We will seriously make this place our frequent holiday detination for peace and quiet, nature and mental healing. There were quite a number of activities for the kids but our kids were too young to participate. We were just quite happy going for walks and watching the stars at night. The grass looked so inviting and we wanted to roll down the hills hahaha but it was all fenced, which makes sense for safety. We heard there was a heard of elephants nearby. We also loved in when it rained, the sound of raindrops on the leaves outside and on our leaves. It’s definitely a place for poets and writers, artists and creative people. I was truly inspired and I mostly sat outside when the babies were napping, and read my Lord of the rings book that I took with me, as that place reminded me of hobbit-land and magic. Coffee lovers must go, we had as many cups of coffee as we liked. They also offered us hotpot for dinner and lunch.

This was probably the best hotel I stayed in Yunnan so far. To start, the room was incredibly clean, new, spacious, and most importantly comfortable, the bed was comfortable and clean when I got there. On top of this, the amenities within the room are amazing, AI assisted curtain and light activation, strong and fast AC system. The bathroom was huge and had individual rooms for the shower and toilet. The shower area had everything needed and was very spacious. Tons of kits for shaving, vanity, and all that you would need for a hotel stay. Even more, there was an air purifier and majiang table. If you order delivery there is a robot that sends the food to your room. Staff were very friendly and dependable, gifts were given during leaving, there was also a free breakfast and bridge crossing rice noodle kit that you could order anytime, very tasty! Lastly, and also very important for travelers, the location is superb, being situated close to the city center and only a 15 minute drive from the train station and opposite side of town. Very convenient!! The area is also quiet and relatively clean.

Very good stay at Lantingyuan Hotel. The hotel is new and has a modern elegant design, with spacious common areas. The furniture is tasteful and focused on tea style. Also a tea showroom space (open for selling goods) Service and responsiveness: - The staff promptly accommodated requests for two additional pillows. - We requested a quiet room away from the elevator, which was arranged successfully. Room and amenities: - The room features a thoughtful layout, with a separated shower and toilet. - The view is striking in the evenings, especially with the colorful LED lights from the neighboring hotel building. - Clean room Check-in and dining: - Check-in was fast. - We were offered one breakfast for two people for free during our two-night stay. - Free ice cream in the hall was a pleasant surprise. Minor drawback: - The minibar/fridge is not present, which is common in some hotels in China. Overall impression: - A very good stay with attentive staff and a strong design-forward vibe. Would consider returning for future visits.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was spacious and spotless, and the bed was exceptionally large and comfortable. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and I especially appreciated that the shower and toilet were in separate areas.

Siguiendo un itinerario sugerido, me alojé dos noches en Manghong e hice senderismo hasta las aldeas alta y baja de Mangjing, el Árbol de la Abeja Reina, el Árbol Banyan Princesa, la montaña Aileng y el Templo del Ancestro del Té (dejé Wengji para la siguiente parada porque estaba demasiado cansado). Por las noches, el hotel tenía un ambiente maravilloso, con gente reunida alrededor de la chimenea, disfrutando de té con leche, pipas de girasol y escuchando a un cantante que interpretaba canciones folclóricas Dai con guitarra. Al día siguiente, fuimos a Nuogan. El hotel nos regaló seis fotos, y debo decir que el estudio fotográfico que organizaron era increíblemente profesional. De vuelta en el hotel, tomamos té en el vestíbulo, y después de cenar, fuimos a la chimenea a escuchar música, asar maíz y patatas. No importaba dónde nos sentáramos, hicimos nuevos amigos y charlamos. Este hotel crea fácilmente un ambiente acogedor, lo que nos permitió conocernos y relajarnos. El servicio fue excelente; ofrecieron servicio de mayordomo, lo cual fue un detalle muy considerado. Conocimos al Sr. Wu al reservar la habitación. Debido a algunos problemas personales, el Sr. Wu nos ayudó a aliviar nuestras preocupaciones y compartió con nosotros muchas historias interesantes de la zona.
