Comfort Food = Home Dinner delivered a miracle: stewed chicken with potatoes and mushrooms. One bite and—boom—mummy’s cooking. After days on the road, I finally found food in China that tasted like home. Tail wagging resumed. Care Beyond the Call Mr Hong returned with a portable heater, pointed out city landmarks, and even taught me how to take a non-reflective photo (yes, this dog learns fast). His easy friendliness softened the edges of dirty window panes and mostly Mandarin-only staff. I even showed him the ink-black towel after wiping the window—evidence, not barking. Menu Meltdown & A Win At the restaurant, I was handed a Chinese-only menu after saying I don’t speak Mandarin. I hit the roof. To their credit, reception listened: I received a call from the lady boss, and the issue was acknowledged. Then a hero appeared—the restaurant lady, who patiently translated dish names so I could choose lunch and dinner without guesswork. Gold bone earned. City Interlude: Jilin Catholic Church Between meals and meetings, I visited Jilin Catholic Church (吉林耶稣圣心堂)—a quiet pause from hotel hiccups. The church offered a moment of stillness, a reminder that even on a bumpy stay, the city holds pockets of grace. Logistics That Worked Back at the desk, the reception lady manager efficiently arranged my transport to Wusong Island—quick, competent, and reassuring. Breakfast & The Fine Print Breakfast surprised me in the best way: healthy, balanced, a thoughtful mix of local and Western dishes. One final bone to chew—early booking didn’t pay off as prices dropped later. A truly Winning Hotel would honour the lower rate at check-in. Verdict Despite communication bumps, this is a solid winter hideout: good Songhua River views, comforting food, and fast service when it counts. 商務出行選的這家商務雙床房，體驗感很不錯。房間佈局簡約大氣，空間寬敞，桌面很適合臨時辦公處理工作。兩張床鋪乾淨舒適，床品親膚，隔音效果很好，忙完一天可以安心休息。衞生間乾濕分離，熱水充足。前台辦理入住高效，服務有禮，整體安靜不嘈雜，非常適合出差人士，下次出差還會優先選擇。

房間有些老舊了，房間衞生情況一般，手機在充電時，不小心掉到地毯上，拿起來時發現手機粘了一層灰，環境位置好在臨江，晚風吹拂很舒適，睡覺也比較安靜，早餐一般般，可選擇性不多，8點以後不再續食物，有點尷尬. 空調老舊，開起來嗡嗡響，這個賓館如果是做會議還可以考慮，個人或者家庭旅遊就不推薦了.

The hotel beautifully reflects traditional Wula heritage while offering modern comfort. The room was spacious, spotless, and perfect for our family. The beds were very comfortable, and the peaceful environment made it easy for everyone to relax. The facilities are very family-friendly and convenient for those traveling with children. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. It was a perfect way to start each day and something our whole family really enjoyed. A special thank you to Xiao Rui for the exceptional service. Xiao Rui was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for families looking for comfort, culture, and warm hospitality. We would definitely stay here again!
