FFrequent Traveller2A great location. Unfortunately it is pretty run down. At the pool there are floor boards broken, Some bits of board missing. The glass wall has a very sharp piece of jagged metal running underneath its whole length. It has corroded out and not been replaced. A real danger to anyone who swims across to take a look through if they sim across and slam or even put their hands on to the top of the wall. The deck chairs are also missing a heap of slats and have mouldy foam as the vinyl covers have long gone. The gym was also really run down. The floor foam is so old it covered you in blue bits of perished ”dust” as it disintegrated on contact.
The wifi is unreliable, with only one of to bring able to use it at a time. Half the time 1 of us was locked out. Amen I reported it the girl unhelpfully repeated I have to log back in every time we are kicked out. At times that was about 30 seconds of access then it dropped out and we had no wifi. We had our set to automatically log us back in, which made little difference because it would then just kick us out again.
We got down to breakfast at 8 one mooring and were told half of the got food was finished a they had run out. That was a bit poor.
But otherwise most of the staff were really friendly and helpful, and our room was clean. And it was a great location to go and view the lake, museum and ducks.
AAmin-SHThe light was quite dark for me and it's not comfortable for working in long hours. The location is a bit far to the main road so it's better to stay somewhere on the main road if you have no car to drive. In my case, I just layovered in this city so if I wanted to go out I had to call a ride healing provide like Grab, Bolt, and Maxim.
DDirk HerrmannStayed many times but now it is slipping in cleaningness and it needs to renew its bedding and towels. Our towels, had on two days (of a 5 day stay) holes in them. The last bedding change also had a bed sheet with holes. Sad to see that things are slipping, because we liked comming to The Thanburi Hotel
Me encantó. La habitación era limpia, la matrícula era suave. Me quedaría definitivamente aquí otra vez.
