UUsuario invitadoThis rural hotel has some good points and some areas that need improvements.
Pros:
1) location
2) beautiful view from some rooms.
3) warm welcome.
Cons:
1) they provide disposable towels. It is not as luxurious as real towels. On top of that, due to the fact disposable towels are not as absorbent, that means you cannot reuse them if you shower or bathe twice.
2) kettle and cups are provided but no tea bags. They only give those out if you ask.
3) If only half a roll of toilet paper is left in the toilet, it is best to provide an additional roll for the convenience of guests
4) the shower head should always face the wall rather than away from the wall so that guests will not be sprayed with cold water before the water reaches its desired temperature.
I understand running a hospitality is not easy, but the guests need to feel that they are being treated generously.

HHailingshuEl B&B está ubicado en la ciudad de Shuolong, cerca del puerto de Shuolong, y está a solo 10 minutos en auto del centro de visitantes de la cascada de Detian. Es muy conveniente para los turistas en casa. Puedes ver Vietnam al otro lado del río desde la ventana. Llegué tarde el primer día y no pude ver nada. Al día siguiente descubrimos que nuestro lugar estaba lleno de alambre de púas. El río Guichun todavía era el río límite aquí, pero si caminábamos un poco más arriba, parecía pertenecer al río dentro del territorio.

Este hotel en el mar es muy sorprendente! UUsuario invitadoNo se evalúa en general, pero me siento bien. La nueva gente abierto, hemos establecido dos habitaciones para vivir dos noches. El paisaje fuera de la ventana es muy bueno. Las habitaciones dobles del segundo piso y del tercer piso son todas ventanas de tierra. La habitación de cuarto piso tiene balcón muy agradable y el precio es adecuado. Los dueños de la población son muy buenos. Hay una solución a tiempo. Abrieron una tienda de bebidas abajo y nos enviaron un poco de fruta y bebida. Ya se han presentado amigos, la puerta es un baúl de pescado, y abajo es una tienda de noche. Conveniente.

UUsuario anónimoReally lovely guesthouse in the Mingshi scenic area with very warm and welcoming owners. The area is quite peaceful and rural. They make delicious home-style cooking using rice and vegetables grown in their own fields, which you can see at the back of the building.
We stayed here during our visit to Detian Waterfall, and also explored the Mingshi landscapes. The bus to Detian Waterfall passes through the village every morning at 8:30, so you can save some money on transportation to get there.
Our hosts got us free entry to the Mingshi Tian Yuan park in the evening to watch the Zhuang ethnic minority performances. Usually it costs ¥80 entry. They lent us bicycles and it was an easy 5-10 min cycle there.
Overall, highly recommend this place to other travellers!

EE. Ch.Great experience at the Pubu Qing hotel. The hotel exceeded my expectations for sure.
The location is great as mentioned by other reviewers. My room was on the 6th floor on the back of the building. It had a window overlooking another building (in a ”development” stage ;-). It was surprisingly quiet. The air conditioning was efficient and silent. The bed was comfortable and the room was large enough and had even a small table as well as a desk. No fridge. Enough power outlets to plug my devices. The toilet/bathroom is small but not tiny. There was a bit of a smell but that happens and it did not bother me. Closing the bathroom door was enough not to get the smell in the room.
The owner helped me recharge the electric motorbike and that was a great plus. Also he purchased the entry ticket to the price for me (as mentioned by other reviewers). Friendly, efficient and very helpful.
There are quite a few shops around and even if there is not a lot of food variety there are plenty of eating places to choose from. Prices are reasonable and I personally found the quality to be fine.
Should I be back to the Detian falls I will stay at the Pubuqing for sure. Simple. Wallet friendly and so convenient with great service.

EEatPrayTravelLocation of hotel is very convenient for travelers who take the tourist bus from either Chungzuo, Nanning or from Detian waterfalls scenic area. The room we booked had a nice view of the fields and karst mountains. What a beautiful sight to behold indeed. During the day, it can get noisy with all the comings and goings in the village and all around but at night, it was very quiet. The rooftop terrace was very nice and not busy when we were there. Breakfast was enjoyable with steamed buns, corn, soup noodles and boiled sweet potatoes- a healthy start for a very busy day. The very nice lady in charge of breakfast offered us breakfast on our check in day (we arrived at 10:30) and made sure we had enough to eat before sending us off to explore! We had never met a B&B operator who was so caring and generous. On our check out day, even though she was still busy with guests, she rushed out to bid us a fond farewell and a safe onward trip. Front desk and cleaning team were all very friendly, always smiling and helpful. All in all, a very warm and pleasant stay at Mingshi Scenic Area.

- the room cleanliness could be much better. There were dirty marks all over the bathroom floor, windows and TV
- poor sound insulation (you can hear your neighbours)
- the village is currently undergoing a lot of construction work - it's clear that the homestay can't change it, however, it would be great if guests could be warned about it in advance. The area is quite dusty
Overall, taking into consideration hygiene and the state of the area around (construction sites), the price was a bit too high for the stay. The views of the nature are unbeatable thought.
