«I had a very pleasant stay at Mantra 2 Bond Street Sydney. The hotel is located in a prime spot in the heart of Sydney CBD, making it easy to walk to Circular Quay, the Opera House, and The Rocks. Public transport is also readily accessible, which made getting around the city very convenient.
The apartment-style room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and laundry facilities — perfect for both short and long stays. The bed was comfortable, and the room had everything I needed for a relaxing stay.
One small detail to note is that slippers were not provided in the room, so I had to request them from the front desk. It wasn’t a big issue, but it would be more convenient if they were placed in the room by default.
The staff were friendly, professional, and quick to respond to any requests. I also appreciated the on-site restaurant and rooftop pool, which added extra convenience and enjoyment to my stay.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for travelers who want comfort, space, and a central location in Sydney.»

UUsuario invitadoMy first review on Trip and I don't usually bother to write reviews - shows you how much the hotel impressed me. We stayed for 1 night in Capella Sydney as a family of 3.
The hotel facilities were absolutely amazing, decor was gorgeous and food options at Aperture and Brasserie were awesome. However, I won't dwell on these too much as I'm sure when you booked into a Capella brand hotel, you will already assume this as a given right? One highlight in terms of facilities though, was The Living Room, which is assessible to all guests staying in the hotel. It had beverages, snacks, comfy sofas and 6 star service. We spent so much time there chilling with our son and in the end it really became ”our living room”.
Enough of that, let me move on to the service which blew our minds. I'll give you a few examples and hopefully you can see why I feel it would be criminal for me not to write a review.
1. On arrival when we got out of our car and the porters were helping us with our luggage, somehow they addressed me by name. Maybe it's because they saw I had a 2 year old and I was the only guest checking in that day with a small child. Still, I was super impressed. I've only experienced this previously at Aman hotels.
2. Upon checking in, Sophie (I hope I got your name right!) was super helpful and cheerful. When she saw my young son, she also proactively asked if we needed a later check out and if our son needed to nap. She immediately offered to give us 2pm late check out. However, having told her our son actually takes his nap at 2pm, she told us to come back and check with the front desk the next day and they can extend it till 4pm. Remember, I didn't request this, she did this completely out of her own initiative.
3. We didn't book dinner and Sophie referred us to Madiha of the Cultural team. Madiha took note of all our requirements, including the need for the restaurant to be 2 year old friendly, and within 15 mins emailed me a full list of restaurants and their menus for me to choose from while she also served us drinks and snacks at the living room. We eventually picked an Italian restaurant and she made the reservation for us. Fyi, it was scrumptious.
4. After breakfast, we were walking around the lobby and my son walked past the cakeshop and saw a raspberry tart. He really wanted it but I told him we just had breakfast. Ton (?)(I hope I got your name right, the Thai gentleman with a love for cars), the manager came up and said ”you can have the tart for free! It's on the house!”. I was stunned. He also spent so much time talking to my son and showing him pictures of cars, unbelievable.
Shout out also to Matthew (uncle Hao Jun) for being so warm and hospitable to us. Honestly we were feeling so sad leaving the hotel as everyone felt like friends and family to us. One thing is for sure though, we will be back. Absolutely flawless service, kudos to the Capella Sydney team!

MMiki CKBeautiful hotel located in Sydney CBD, opposite Hyde Park, around 2 mins walk to St James station and 7 mins walk to town hall station!
Customer service is 10 out of 10, eveyone I met are so thoughtful and helpful, including concierge, front desk and F&B staff.
We also tried their Easter themed dessert at the Gallery (lobby lounge) and breakfast buffet at Level 1, both are amazing experience, pretty good food, nice park view and friendly staff :)

MManatsuWe booked this room type specifically for access to the 35F Club Millesime lounge — something we discovered only exists for select room categories during a previous stay.
Check-in took around 15 minutes as the room wasn’t ready on time, but the staff made up for it with attentive service, personally escorting us up to the 35th floor. We lucked out with a corner table during afternoon tea and enjoyed a stunning 270° panoramic view — a definite highlight.
The evening session (17:30–19:30) was a letdown. When we arrived around 6pm, we were told the lounge was full and offered in-room delivery instead. We waited over an hour and a half, received very little food, and the champagne we had already ordered upstairs was forgotten — we had to ask again before it was brought to us.
As for breakfast, Level 3 offers a wider spread; the 35F lounge wins on ambience and views but not variety.
Overall, the 35F lounge simply cannot accommodate all eligible guests. If the experience is the main draw of your stay, be prepared for the possibility of being turned away — which is genuinely disappointing given the room premium.

Food choices are plenty during breakfast and can order different eggs style and cooking preparation during breakfast and can order different hot or cooled selection of drinks as well. Hotel is clean and location is near china town ,paddys market , and harbour easily accessible to townhall in a walkable distance of 7-10 mins away. There is a fireworks show on saturday night that lasted 5-7minutes.. There are lots of restaurants around the area and ice cream shops as well . There is even a park at the back of the hotel and a playground for kids. I highly recommend this hotel. There is 2 pool in the hotel at 22nd floor and 29th floor . The hotel is beside Imax cinema .

DDaria GeoffrionVery spacious suites that have everything you need, small but nice gym. There is a construction going on just opposite Tower 2 where I stayed, so it was a little noisy. Bathroom needed better cleaning and some furniture in the kitchen was run-down but all in all a very decent place to stay in close proximity to Bondi beach, shops and restaurant. Good value for money.

Situación fácil y conveniente fuera del CBD. Este es el único hotel grande en la zona y hay algunos restaurantes grandes cerca - Carmela, Margaret, Bill’s etc. útilmente cerca de Chemist Warehouse para los esenciales que has olvidado.
En el negativo: Se debe clasificar como 4* - bastante barato construido y mantenido. No lo que usted podría considerar ser de lujo. Las habitaciones son oscuras, con mal pensado exhibición; el techo rara vez vacío (si en absoluto) durante nuestra estancia de cinco noches. Las pulverizaciones de la cabeza de la ducha se bloquearon, el agua de baño también se bloqueó. Las pulverizaciones no eran muy limpias. Windows en la habitación y la sala de cenas muy sucia. Gran sitio de construcción adyacente, así que nos movimos habitaciones para alejarnos del ruido y la vista de las cranes. El hotel es un hotel muy caro y que, cuando usted piensa, podría haber reservado la Capella en CBD a casi el mismo precio que nuestra suite, pero muy agradable estar lejos de la ciudad.

PpornphunWe had a brilliant experience at the Langham for our wedding anniversary! I forgot how much I like the Langham brand. From the pink ribbon around the toilet paper to the sleep ammenities (we asked for the sleep pillow mist and the room diffuser) to the suggested third eye massage technique and the chamomile tea before bedtime, we felt totally pampered and taken care of. Reservation was made for our celebratory dinner with fine steak dinner over the fantastic view of the Opera House. In room breakfast was delivered on time and the quantity copious. The Spanish bell boy was helpful and friendly. We were also upgraded to a harbour view room to our delight. Location was convenient to walk either to Barangaroo or the Rocks, for ferry ride or metro. Very pleased to have chosen The Langham, it was absolutely the right decision for us!
