Hotel Ca'l Bisbe

Absolutely loved this hotel. One of our most favourite places we’ve stayed. The small hotel is an old bishops residence and has been tastefully renovated and had a lovely feel about it. We had a ground floor room which we liked as the patio doors opened out to the pool area. Our room had tv with English channels and a free safety deposit box and a small fridge . The staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was a good choice , didn’t dine here for lunch or dinner so can’t comment on those. The pool and garden area is what makes this hotel special though. So relaxing and never an issue getting a sun lounger. The pool was clean and the gardens well maintained . Will definitely return.
Finca Ca´s Curial

Was keen to stay at a finca (traditional country house) while in Mallorca, and Ca’s Curial surpassed all my expectations! Beautiful estate perfect for an idyllic, relaxing holiday, and such a refreshing contrast to the crowded resort hotels in other parts of the island. Lovely large pool area with views of the mountains around Soller, honesty bar with easy access to drinks/snacks, and an expansive lemon/orange grove providing plenty of greenery. Breakfast each morning was superb, with a nicely varied buffet spread, delicious egg/crepe entrees on request, and some unique treats generally not found in other lodgings – including an industrial-strength orange juicer! We were in room 9, a stand-alone suite separate from the other buildings on the property. With its private garden/terrace and huge living room, it felt more like a holiday villa than a hotel room. Though situated towards one corner of the estate, we did not at all mind the 2-minute walk from the suite to breakfast each morning (remember: lemon/orange grove). Traditional but tasteful room furnishings, comfortable bed, two air conditioners, and a modern walk-in shower made for a very enjoyable stay. Also, special shout-out to Victoria who was so warm and informative, and completely on point with all of her restaurant recommendations. I do think it is best to arrive here with a car. Although the walk to central Soller is only 10-15 minutes, it can feel a bit much in the midsummer heat – especially if going to town twice in one day. Plus a car makes it easier to explore the other cute towns (Deia, Valldemossa, etc.) and fantastic mountain views in the area. But no one would blame you for spending most of your time just relaxing at the finca!
Finca Can Quatre

Finca Can quatre is an oasis of calm. We had room 7 at the top of the building. Magnificent, with its own private terrace. The pool area was peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast was a laid back affair sipping on never ending coffee and fresh orange juice. The staff were incredibly professional, whilst maintaining a personal service. All in all a great experience. Just a couple of tips. We arrived late with empty tummies, we should have phoned ahead and asked for something small to be left in the room. We ended up walking into the square (about 15mins), but prepare yourself to be overwhelmed, madly busy, most resteraunts were taking last food orders at around 10pm. so we slunk back hangry. Also make sure you take usb phone chargers and 3 pin plug adapters with you, we were travelling light and had to charge our phone's via the TV usb socket. Not ideal. There is absolutely no doubt that we will return and I would recommend can quatre to anyone who needs to fully unwind and receive majorcan hospitality at its best. Oh..... and give the beach at deia a miss overbooked resteraunts, overcrowded boulder beach and one hell of a hike or jam packed car park. Wretched.

What a wonderful remote hotel, the views and setting are very beautiful and the staff are exceptional. We loved our stay here and would stay again, my only complaint (and unfortunately a big one for us) is that we specifically stated we needed a quiet room, we were told since it was remote all the rooms were quiet. However we were given room 1, which is in the main building. Each night we could hear everything in the lobby (guests, staff, people slamming doors) as if it was in the room. I actually think we could have ended up with the nosiest room on the estate. In hindsight we probably should have said something at the start of our trip and asked to change rooms. We would stay here again, but I would not want to stay in the main building, I would prefer one of the outer buildings on the estate. The rooms are very different and you can either bag a really lovely peaceful room or a very dated, or in our case noisy room. However overall don’t let this deter you, it’s a great estate and I have attached a map of the buildings they provide. I would recommend staying Son Sales or Binidorm but I cannot comment on what the rooms are like inside other than the outside looked beautiful and they seemed quieter with better views. Soller and the Port are both about 25 mins walk from the estate, however the real star was the free lifts to either and back the hotel offers for guests on evenings.

Great rooms! Very comfortable, clean and fresh! we especially loved the idea that they had locker rooms. We were able to leave our bags after checkout and spend some more time in Soller before heading back to the airport ... Rooms were very quiet, still very close to the center. Great instructions and helpful tips were received one day before arriving.

Grande hotel!
