I am a very frequent traveller, and a very demanding one. This hotel is outstanding: Great physical plant Huge, amazing spa/pool complex— steam, sauna, swimming pool Friendly, helpful staff Excellent food I stayed here for four nights in March, 2022. Shuttle to skiing was easy and prompt . Staff seems happy to be there Highly highly recommended!!

The Grand Tirolia is truly in a class by itself in Kitzbuhel. The resort is beautifully designed and furnished in chic tyrolean style set in a perfect location at the base of the mountains. The rooms are spacious, modern, clean and very well layed out. We travelled with lots of luggage for a ski vacation and the closet space was amazing (in addition to the ski storage room). The bathroom is very large and has a super nice rain shower and soaking tub with separate powder room. The deck is also quite spacious and views were amazing. The service in the hotel is top notch; warm, friendly, helpful and professional. A special thank you to the hotel manager, Johannes Lehberger, who really welcomed us after a particularly trying travel day from Spain. Thank you! The front desk staff was also great including Natayolia from Bulgaria, she's wonderful! Two off the chart aspects of the resort; breakfast and the Spa. The breakfast spread is incredible and has among other things an egg/omelete station, amazing Austrian cheeses, fresh juice made to order (e.g., my wife had a freshly blended carot, ginger, orange), fabulous coffee and teas. Literally the best breakfast spread we have ever had; beats Paris/London grand hotels. The spa has three different types of saunas, steam rooms, whirlpool, outdoor/indoor pool and is really outfitted well. All in all, this is the best place to stay in Kitzbuhel, enjoy!

5/5 Great new hotel just outside Kitzbühel. Excellent service with enthusiastic staff, beautiful interior and finishes. Attention to all detail with a great restaurant! Shuttle takes you into town. Views of the snow covered mountains. Will definitely be back!

Had the pleasure of staying at this excellent hotel for part of a birthday treat. We were upgraded to a fantastic room with balcony and Mountain View. The spa & gym areas were very good, service was excellent, as too was breakfast and dinner. I can thoroughly recommend this lovely hotel and a place I will undoubtedly return to.

We spent there 2 nights. We booked superior double room with forest view. Room was Ok, nice size, comfy bed. But the view from the balcony was on the construction site..so it was not a pleasure to sit outside. Another downside was lack of AC in the room. Hotel is surrounded by a golf court. All the employees were super friendly. Food in the restaurant was good. Generally hotel was Ok but not for the money I paid for it.

Be aware that there is a very large construction site, as they are expanding the hotel. If you are looking for a picturesque stay, this is not the time and place. The Grand Tirolia is well-known in Kitzbühl for the large size of their rooms. Comfortable beds and well-appointed. This is the best aspect of the hotel. The spa area is far from perfect. While the sauna/steambath area is pretty, the pool area has more the feeling of a public swimmingpool. Many deckchairs in a large open space, not really an exclusive ambience. With the expansion of the hotel, the spa area needs an update or expansion too. I am pretty sure that is not the case. Furthermore, the (only..) steambath was defect, disappointing in this price range and after a long day of skiing. No "Sorry, out of order" sign on the door, pretty much a "tough luck but what the hell" feeling from the staff. This matches the general feeling of the hotel staff (with exception of the great breakfast staff) who generally exude an air of slight disinterested. In conclusion, there are better choices in Kitzbühl at this price range. If you can snatch a room under €250, it is fine. For more, this place is not luxurious enough.

Pluses: Peaceful setting, lovely rooms, friendly staff who want to help and a good team in the kitchen Minuses: Invisible management who have failed to train staff and have no real understanding that it takes much more than good rooms and decor to make a hotel 5 star. Experiences: First night’s sleep ruined by loud banging noises from electrical equipment cabinet, impression given that this was not a new problem. Moved room, but no in-person apology from the general manager as would happen in a true 5-star hotel. Cracks in hand basin of new room and housekeeping very inconsistent. No turn-down service, only provided for suites. Roland, Richard and the kitchen team all on form and a credit to the hotel, very helpful in meeting our needs to a high standard. Helpful, friendly service in main restaurant. But, if you eat in the alternative restaurant in the hotel, you pay full price even if you are on half-board – not like the normal arrangement whereby half-board guests have an allowance and only pay the balance. Drivers providing the shuttle service to the ski lift / village helpful. Above experiences with hotel at low occupancy level. Now building very large extension, so service likely to be worse when that opens.

What an amazing new resort - great rooms, outstanding Restaurants and Bar, superb SPA. Kitzbühel is a wonderful Winter destination with incredible Ski facilities. The hotel was the place of tranquility, away from parties and nightlife downtown. We will be back!

Das Grand Tirolia ist sehr schön gelegen und bietet alles, was das Ski-Fahrer-Herz begehrt. Schöne große Zimmer, einen 1-A Ski Locker, Verleih im Haus, Shuttle-Service zum Hahnenkamm etc. Der Spa ist schön & das Essen ist sehr gut. Der Service und das Personal sind ebenfalls sehr gut. Absolut empfehlenswert!
