Fantástico

Me hospede en Homewood Suites by Hilton en Durango, Colorado, para la celebración de fin de año. Lamentablemente, nuestra experiencia en el comedor del hotel durante la cena de fin de año fue profundamente decepcionante y nos dejó preocupados por la posibilidad de un trato discriminatorio. Durante nuestra cena, fuimos abruptamente interrumpidos por el personal del hotel, quienes nos informaron que no podíamos permanecer en el comedor después de las 10 p.m., citando las ”leyes de Colorado”. Al solicitar ver la política escrita del hotel que justificara esta acción, el personal fue incapaz de presentarla. La manera en que fuimos tratados y expulsados del comedor nos hizo sentir discriminados, y nos llevó a preguntarnos si el trato habría sido diferente bajo otras circunstancias personales. La situación empeoró cuando el personal de recepción llamó a la policía. Aunque los oficiales nos informaron que solo estaban respondiendo a un llamado del hotel y que se trataba de una regla del hotel, en ningún momento durante nuestra estancia se nos informó sobre dicha regla. Reconocemos la necesidad de políticas de seguridad y operativas en un hotel, pero esperamos que estas se apliquen de manera justa y se comuniquen de forma clara. La falta de transparencia y la manera en que se manejó esta situación no solo arruinó nuestra velada, sino que también nos dejó preocupados por la posibilidad de un trato discriminatorio. Esperamos que Homewood Suites by Hilton en Durango tome este incidente seriamente y realice una investigación adecuada. Es esencial que el hotel aborde estas preocupaciones para asegurar que todos los huéspedes reciban un trato equitativo y respetuoso, independientemente de su origen o identidad. Apreciaríamos una respuesta del hotel sobre cómo planean manejar este incidente y qué medidas implementarán para prevenir situaciones similares en el futuro.

KKennedy McManus¡Encantador lugar! En el centro de toda la vida en Durango! ¡Grande estacionamiento! El hotel mismo fue parte de las divertidas visitas. Nos pasamos por una noche buscando algo que hacer, pero alrededor 8PM las cosas tienden a cerrar en Durango, pero se da cuenta de que el hotel tenía que divertirnos que buscamos. En el hotel, nos dimos cuenta de que el piano de los hoteles vino de la sala de estar conectada, y nos dimos cuenta de que había una silla, y nos alegramos con el resto de la multitud que disfrutaba de la música y las historias de Adam Swanson.

This is a very nice hotel. It is very clean. The rooms are large. Excellent breakfast with many options. Dining area is very nice. Desk staff is very friendly and helpful. When asked for restaurant recommendations, put us on a waitlist at popular spot. About 40 minutes from Mesa Verde national Park.

JJulie PWe highly recommend the General Palmer Hotel in Durango, Colorado! We have stayed at the General Palmer Hotel on many occasions and our most recent trip was fantastic! We planned to trailer our motorcycle for this trip and prior to making reservations, we contacted management to ensure we would be able to park our truck, trailer, and motorcycle in the hotel’s parking lot. We were ensured that we would be able to do so. Upon arrival, when checking in, we met with Oksana and Amy at the front desk. While speaking with Oksana and mentioning the parking situation, Amy immediately went outside to help with the parking of our vehicles. She didn’t hesitate for a moment to ensure we would be able to park the vehicles with no problem. Soon after, Oksana was outside helping us bring our luggage into our room. The hotel, as always, was clean – from our room to the lobby to the stairwell! It is an old hotel, built in the late 1800s, so if you enjoy history, you will enjoy staying here! We enjoyed the simple FREE breakfast – juice, coffee, Danish, egg/sausage casserole, etc. If you are looking for a more hearty breakfast, we recommend the Durango Diner. But the light FREE breakfast offered near the lobby was fine for us and we enjoyed talking to other guests over coffee. We took the Durango-Silverton Train Ride, so this is the perfect place to stay! If you do not enjoy an occasional train horn, then you may want to look elsewhere – but we enjoy hearing the train! We had the pleasure of staying in the Presidential Suite and the additional living area was perfect for us as we needed to work a bit while on vacation for 8 days. It was clean, comfortable, and roomy! (Note there is another building with additional rooms and there is no elevator in that building. So, if you need an elevator, be sure to ask about staying in the main building.) The hotel is located right in the heart of downtown Durango, making it so easy and convenient to walk to restaurants, shops, art galleries and more! We cannot say enough about the hotel’s 2nd floor and 3rd floor patio – the decks overlook the train station, the town of Durango, and you don’t want to miss having a beverage while watching the sunset!

PPam SWe had our 50th Anniversary party here. Could not have been better. The staff, Lucas Hess, anticipated our every need. Never had so many people complimenting on how great the food was. They kept the food hot and excellent. The event room was beautiful. Highly recommend this for your event or just a night away. Really made our 50th a special day!

ZzonghuahuahuahuaLocated just south of town, the hotel is convenient to all areas of Durango. It is on an access road adjacent to a limited-access highway, but it is very easy to get around. The interior corridors on the three-stories are served by an elevator and rooms are comfortable. Every afternoon, there is popcorn and cookies, and in the morning a hot breakfast. Front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Durango itself is rather congested to drive through, so it is best to go there after 6 pm for free parking, or after 5 pm in municipal lots. If you are going to Mesa Verde, it is a 40 minute drive to the visitors center and 1 hour, 15 minutes to the first historic site. It is in an ideal situation for the park and for Silverton, Delores, and points east. Durango can be expensive to stay in, but I found the prices here more reasonable for all that you get.

Muy bueno

Everyone was super nice......especially Kara.....sweet lady who loved to offer her advice on the town and what to do. She was also so patient with everyone during breakfast. Some guests came in after 9 and she didn't rush them to eat and just said, if u need anything just let me know and I'll get for u or help urself thru the door. That was soooooooo nice.

Highly recommend. We were completely happy with our stay. The pm and am desk clerks were both very polite and helpful, the room was very clean and was much larger than we expected. Everything seemed fairly new, and the room even included a small sofa! The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the towels were nice and fluffy. There was a grassy area just outside the motel that was perfect for walking my pup, and the area even included doggie waste bags and a convenient trash can. Breakfast offered the usuals, plus pancakes! We would definitely stay here again.

This OVER-PRICED Motel advertises a HOT BREAKFAST and it does NOT deliver, unless you consider one Belgium Waffle maker a hot breakfast. This is a $80 caliber Motel charging $130 only because they can. But for the Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge RR, this place would go bust. The train trip is well worth the visit, but suggest you stay elsewhere for the price. The Young man on the Desk during the day and afternoon was a true delight and is eager to be helpful. Im sure if he treid, he could get a better paying job with real advancement opportunity. The room was marginally clean. The bath tube was not. We were there two nights. It was cleaner after we showred! There is NO nightstand on the left side of the bed. The A/C is an old window unit place high onto a wall over the bath vanity. A bit noisy but it worked. The location is two mile from downtown and the train station. An easy commute.

Budget Inn had everything we needed to enjoy 2 nights in Durango and ride the Durango-Silverton Train. Convenient location, basic and functional amenities, and an extremely knowledgeable and helpful front desk clerk. There is no pool and parking is tight especially if large trucks are parked close to the entrance. We had no issues with cleanliness and got exactly what we expected for the price.
