Kalemi's Beachside Hotel

Great place, amazing family running the hotel, felt like home. Delicious breakfast, rooms cleaned daily. We loved the terrace overlooking the sea. Private secure parking (really rare in Saranda). Great experience overall ! We will definitely be back

Everything started when we checked in, and the son of the family, Konstantinos, greeted us and checked us into our rooms. The family running this hotel works tirelessly all day, never losing their smile for any guest. The breakfast was delicious, prepared by the owner for each guest, and varied every day. The rooms were cleaned daily, and our towels were changed daily. The hotel is a short walk from the city center. The property does not have a private beach, but it is literally on the sea and near many private beaches. What we really enjoyed was the wonderful rooftop terrace of the hotel, overlooking the sea, where we could sit for hours, dine, drink, and read our books. Thank you for everything.

The owners who run this hotel are lovely people and so hospitable, among the most hospitable I met. The hotel is not luxurious but it is foul of soul and warmth. It has the necessary amenities everyone needs, most of the time we were not even inside the room. We only used the room for sleeping and showering. The hotel has private car park which is a must (especially in Sarande where everyone drives in a chaotic manner). The rooms are very clean and comfortable for what they are. The breakfast is different everyday. It is only a short walk to the centre. Our favourite spot was the terrace overlooking the sea where you could enjoy your coffee or food.

Great place, ideal for families as it has really big outdoor spaces where your kids can run and enjoy their time. The owners are really friendly and considerate, they assisted us with anything that we needed. The rooms are not luxurious but have all the necessary amenities that one needs. Besides we barely spent any time at the room, we spent most of our time on the lovely terrace overlooking the sea and enjoying fine delicacies. The rooms are cleaned daily and our towels were changed daily. The breakfast was great and we also had private secure car park for our van included in the price (mind you it is really difficult to find parking spots in sarande. Also 10 min walk to the centre. Overall a great hotel and great owners, we would definitely come back.

I have travelled to the UK, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan and many other places but I have not faced such a situation. We parked our car in this hotel’s open parking are (which was completely empty) and was infront of another hotel (not knowing to which hotel did this parking space belonged). We checked in to the other hotel and came back for the car and were stopped and asked for money (5€) for parking as we did not checked into their hotel. Money is not a problem but the owners of the hotel were abusive and threatened to call the police. I paid the money to avoid any issues and left the place without checking in to any hotel in that area. The owners were an aged man and his son. The owners wife was trying to stop them but they didnt care and pushed her. I sincerely advise not to book this place!

The location of the hotel is great. It is located in a quiet part of town, just a 15-minute walk from the center of Saranda. There are several grocery stores and several restaurants in the area. This is a family hotel. It has 24 rooms. The staff is very kind and wants help. The hotel manager Mr. Konstatinos speaks excellent English, a and you can communicate with other members of the service without any problems. The hotel rooms are clean daily. We had an economical room. The room was not large, but neither was it cramped. It had a balcony, a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. The bathroom had a window. There is also a refrigerator in the room. The air conditioning was ok and free. The mattresses are new and anatomical (very comfortable). We did not have a direct view of the sea. The hotel applies measures related to COVID-19. Everything is clean and fragrant. Breakfast is plentiful and varied. Natural juice (not from vending machines) and European cuisine are served every morning. The hotel does not serve pork. If you want to order lunch you can get fish or some other grilled meat. The beach is private and sun loungers and parasols are free for hotel guests. The beach is thoroughly cleaned every night. Some of the servants constantly monitor the beach during the day, so the beggars can't disturb you. From the beach to the hotel is 20 steps. All kinds of drinks, ice cream, etc. are served on the beach. The hotel has private parking. Thank you very much Hotel Kalemi's Beach for your hospitality and kindness. All recommendations. Il soggiorno nel complesso è stato tranquillo. I proprietari sono disponibili. La colazione varia di giorno in giorno ed è servita. Le camere non troppo grandi. Ottima vista mare. Pulizia buona, unica pecca manca il box doccia, e non devi mai dimenticarti il cartello da lasciare alla porta per farti pulire la camera. Senza di quello non te la puliscono. Nel complesso comunque lo consiglio.

Pessimo hotel, sporco, fuori mano,camere inguardabili, bagni rotti, docce senza tenda e otturato. I titolari scorbutici e senza nessuna educazione verso i clienti. La colazione misera è di qualità scadente.

Un hotel senza ascensore. In camera un bagno microscopico con doccia senza tenda, un lavandino con tappo bloccato e quindi inutilizzabile. Era presente mezzo flacone di shampoo comprato al supermercato. La stanza piccolissima con tre letti singoli appiccicati senza comodini né lampade. Il balcone che si affacciava su una specie di corridoio esterno con gli altri balconi a una distanza di poco più di due metri. Semplicemente allucinante.
