Hotel-Restaurant Bike&Snow Lederer

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Lederer while skiing Hochkonig. The owners were helpful and approachable, the food divine and the rooms very comfortable and clean. Easy access to the Gondola ...no vehicle needed. We are already planning our return in 2025! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

We booked this hotel for a ski trip for ‘Ladies Week’ at the end of March. It was exactly as we’d hoped, very friendly, clean, family-run and well situated for the slopes. Andy was very welcoming and had everything prepared for us. Lovely bright and well equipped bedroom with all amenities, and the ski slope to the main lift was just a short walk across the road. The heated ski room is conveniently located by the main door. The food was delicious and the breakfast choice was also very good. Very friendly hotel and staff. Although the village is quiet there is an excellent ski hut a short uphill walk from the hotel. Most of the apres-ski action happens on the slopes!

I feel compelled to write a review for the Bike and Snow Lederer biker hotel. We have just spent 7 days and 8 nights there and both Vera and I were very impressed. We arrived about 5pm and were welcomed by Andy (the owner) and Marik (the head waiter) They both stopped what they were doing and took time to help us unload the bike and ensure we were settled into our room (room number 😎 The rooms were quite spacious and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. They were very clean as was the linen. The bathroom was bright and cleaned to a high standard. There were plenty of towels. Importantly the water for both the shower and sink was piping hot and there was as much as you needed. I thank the lady who cleaned the rooms on a daily basis. She did an outstanding job. The hotel is situated next to quite a busy road but when you closed the windows in the bedroom you could not hear the road at all. The decor in the hotel is bright and modern. The carpets throughout are very plush. The dining area is bright and there is plenty of room for everyone. Even when full you did not feel that you were squeezed in. The food was amazing. Starting with breakfast there was everything you could want really. Personally I would have liked a toaster to go with the eggs, bacon and beans or even with the boiled eggs but that was just a minor thing and not a criticism. It was self service with coffee and tea and you could help yourself during breakfast. I have to say that I liked to finish breakfast prepare the bike and then sit and enjoy a coffee out on the decked terrace. From here you had fantastic view of the surrounding mountains and it was possible to judge the weather for the day. There were plenty of comfortable chairs on the terrace and after or even before a full day it was a treat to sit here and enjoy a long cold beer. The evening meal offered a salad bar which was self service and had everything you could want and more. In fact the salads I enjoyed very much and i am not normally a salad guy. They were replenished constantly so there was always your favourite available. There were some great oil dressings and I particularly enjoyed the spicy chilli, delicious. There was always 3 courses (4 if you count the salad) The food was well presented and tasted great. Top marks. Merik and Andy's mum were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. The time between each course was timed to perfection. I loved the fact that breakfast and evening meal was spread over 2 or 3 hours. There was no need to rush back or get up early. The timing was very flexible and i thank you for that. The garage area for the bikes was clean and well stocked. there was everything you needed for minor maintenance and cleaning your baby. The garage was secure and we had total confidence in the bikes security. Andy has designed some great routes of the area and took the trouble to download them into my sat nav overnight. Das Bike & Snow Lederer liegt direkt an der Piste, das war uns sehr wichtig. Es ist ein familiär geführtes Hotel, in einer sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, Die Zimmer sind sauber und ausreichend groß. Das Bad sehr hübsch aber klein und es gab ausgezeichnetes Essen. Es hat alles voll super gepasst.

Wir kommen schon seit Jahren und sind immer wieder sehr zufrieden. Die Gastfreundlichkeit, die Hilfsbereitschaft, das tolle Essen - einfach nur Top. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend, alles sehr sauber und die Reinigung erfolgt täglich. Sonderwünsche werden gerne erfüllt. Top Unterkunft!!!

Tolles Zimmer, tolles Frühstück, sehr sehr gutes Abendessen! Freundliches Personal, und die Lage des Hotels ist toll. Über die Straße, über die Brücke und man steht auf der Skipiste. Werde dieses Hotel sicher wieder besuchen

Das Hotel macht schon von außen einen guten Eindruck, von innen ist zu erkennen, dass das Hotel mit viel Liebe und Herz renoviert wurde. Übrigens: Mit viel Liebe und Herz wird man auch von den Mitarbeitern empfangen, hier spürt man von jedem einzelnen die Liebe zum Beruf. Ich hatte Halbpension gebucht, das abendliche Menü war ein wahrer Gaumenschmaus! Die Zimmer sind groß und Tip Top, das Badezimmer ist sehr modern gemacht. Ein kleines aber sehr feines Hotel, unbedingt empfehlenswert.
