A very characterful hotel situated in the moat of a castle. Splendidly enjoyable rooms and a kind, attentive staff I can't praise enough.

If you are coming to Saaremaa Island and want to stay in a place with charm, look no further. The hotel is in an attractive building from around 1900 that overlooks the Bishop’s Castle. It is decorated in an old-world style that fits the building’s elegance. Our room was a little on the small side by modern standards, but that was a function of it being an historic hotel. On that note, the hotel has been visited at least twice by Estonian presidents. The hotel is only a few feet from the Bishop’s castle, but also an easy walk to the town center or to the beach. The areas around the hotel are picturesque and fun to walk around. The buffet breakfast is a very nice spread, and they also will cook what you want to order. It was a great start to our day. Our stay here was very pleasant and perfectly suited the picturesque setting.

From the moment you walk into Ekesparre Boutique Hotel you know you’ve found something special. Situated in the heart of Kuressaare this boutique hotel combines luxury with culture. We were greeted by a lovely receptionist (sadly I didn't catch her name, but I have attached an image of her which was displayed on their wall - hope this helps so she can see this review!). She was impeccably dressed, oozed class and had a warm personality. She gave us a tour of the hotel, whilst passionately sharing with us the history of the site. Her presence instantly put us in a calm, present state, I’ve never experienced such excellent people skills / customer service. She was pure class and an excellent representative for this beautiful hotel. We decided to book four nights (instead of one), as we felt so relaxed and inspired by the energy of this place. Our room was incredible, beautiful views overlooking the castle - so magical! The breakfast on site is such a lovely experience too, with stunning plates and saucers, great food options and of course bubbly champagne offered too - how fun! :) I cannot recommend this hotel enough, it is the best option to book a place on this island. Thank you for creating such a lovely experience for us at Kursessaare! We'll be back next Summer! Britt & Martin

I've wrote about this place at least 2 times before, because everytime we are in Kuressaare, we are staying here. Perfect location, just stone throw away from beautiful Castle and few minutes walk from Old Town's Main Road. Free parking outside, friendly and professional service, cozy and stylish interior and our room with balcony and view to the Castle was comfy. Complimentaru breakfast was amazing, they bring home made smoothies and fruit bowls to the table, then they made omelettes etc. just how you want it and don't forget that sparkling wine :) We had a great package, that included also tickets to Spa, Dinner, complimentary wines, tickets to the Castle etc. so overall once again, we were more than satisfied!

In diesem Hotel fühlt man sich auf Anhieb wohl, alles ist mit "Gold" überzogen und versprüht einen mittelalterlichen Charme, was gut zur ausgezeichneten Lage direkt neben dem Burgschloss von Kuressaare passt. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich, sauber und ruhig, den Balkon teilt man sich mit dem Zimmernachbarn, was aber nicht gestört hat. Das Frühstück im ruhigen Aussenbereich war grandios, das beste auf unserer ganzen Baltikum-Reise! Frisch zubereitete Eierspeisen, Smoothies und Früchte uvm., einfach toll.

Abbiamo soggiornato qualche notte in questo hotel. Il suo punto di forza è sicuramente la posizione, in quanto è ubicato proprio a ridosso del castello. Dalla nostra camera sembrava quasi di toccarlo. La struttura è una vecchia casa padronale ristrutturata in maniera perfetta. La camera non è molto grande, ma è comunque carina e confortevole (arredata in stile liberty). Il personale gentile e accogliente. La colazione veramente variegata ed abbondante. Parcheggio gratuito presso la struttura.
