Tui Blue Tropea

Nice not too big hotel...nice location but a bit remote. If you want to see something of Calabria then renting a car is a must. Breakfast by Italian standards extensive and very tasty. Dinner is also always neat and tasty. Warm welcome by the lovely tui lady. Staff all very friendly. Rooms neat and the jacuzzi makes it complete.

This hotel provides a really disgusting level of service and doesn’t deserve 4 stars. In my opinion, it is not even up to 3 stars. The most disgusting feature of this resort is the non-WLAN: Though advertised as readily available, it is either unavailable at all or too slow for any meaningful online activity. I’m writing this in my Hotel room on my iPhone using a mobile network! Next, the food is extremely biased towards seafood and fish and meat eaters will have a hard time here. Further, the restaurant service is unenthusiastic to say the least. On two evenings, there was a set menu which took several hours to finish. I just don’t have that much time for dinner! Live music was playing in such a noisy way that I needed to wear hearing protection in order to save what is left of my hearing. There is a strict regime at the pool and moving deck chairs into the garden is frowned upon on. The architecture of the resort is poor and looks like a concrete brutalist 70s design. I could go on and on. Of course the view on the sea is great, and the weather is fantastic. I guess it’s the only things the management was unable to mess up.

We stayed at this hotel for 10 nights as part of a greater trip through the south of Italy. Hotel: The hotel location is great with a direct view to the sea, the coast line and the Stromboli island. The access to the beach is possible directly from the hotel within a 15 min walk or thanks to the regular shuttle service provided by the hotel. The service at the beach is also great offering drinks, snacks as well as a safe and private access to the sea. Food and Beverages: The hotel offers a main restaurant serving mainly as a buffet which is well diversified and tasty. A second à la carte restaurant is available for customer once per stay. The bar offers a wide range of drinks including wine and cocktails at reasonable prices. Room: The room is spacious and comfortable. It is however lacking storage room, furnitures and lights. E.g. a double bedroom only has one chair to sit on. Alternatively, if both guests wish to sit at the same time, they either can sit on the toilets or on the bed. Room is furnished with very basic (and obviously cheap) equipment. Service: The overall level of service at the restaurants and bars is very good with friendly and available staff. The same goes with the pool and beach. A special thank to Francesca who's caring about each customer and making sure everyone's satisfied When it comes to other services like maintenance and housekeeping, it did not come to our satisfaction. In the first days of our stay, we highlighted a defective cloth drying rack and ask for it to be changed as it could not be used. 3 days later and after 3 reminders, the rack was still not changed. Similar lack of response to get the bedsheets changed. We requested it to be done through their app but had to claim it at the reception 2 days later as the request remained opened in the app. The concept of having an app to book services is good on the principle but remains useless in this hotel. Our requests were only taken care of after having repetitively complained directly at the reception. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel but wish that the few issues we encountered would have been taken care of in a smooth way.

Wir waren uns bewusst das es in Süditalien etwas Abstriche geben wird. Als wir dann noch die vielen negativen Bewertungen gelesen haben, war uns schon etwas mulmig. Umso angenehmer sind wir überrascht worden. Die wunderschön gelegene Anlage ist gepflegt, der Poolbereich sauber und ruhig. Das Zimmer entsprach zu 100% unseren Erwartungen. Das angeblich so schlechte Essen war gut, wir haben jeden Tag etwas für uns gefunden, hervorheben möchte ich die frisch gekochte Pasta oder den gegrillten Tintenfisch. Die angebotenen regionalen Weine waren köstlich. Wenn man dann noch die Möglichkeit hat Joga, Pilates, funktional Fitness und mehr mit Meerblick zu machen braucht man nicht mehr. Dank an Jule für die tollen Kurse, man merkt sofort das du ein Profi bist. Anika steht dem in nichts nach bei ihren Aktivitäten wie Dart, Fotospaziergang etc. Der Chef Enzo hat sich täglich bei uns erkundigt und bei unserer Abreise herzlich verabschiedet Der Strand ist traumhaft und in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Cocktails an der Hotelbar waren Weltklasse Das einzige Manko, der über 5 Tage nicht funktionierende Whirlpool wurde von der Reiseleiterin Uschi elegant gelöst, daher bewerte ich das nicht negativ Das war mit Sicherheit nicht unser letzter Aufenthalt im TUI Blue Tropea

Nous rentrons d'un petit séjour au Tui blue Tropea. Un vrai petit paradis, surplombant une plage et une mer dignes des Caraïbes. Mais c' est l ' accueil, l ' hospitalité, l ' amabilité de tout le personnel de l ' hôtel qui vous réchauffent le cœur. Ne ratez pas la délicieuse pizza du Pizzaiolo Giovanni au bar de de l hôtel ou une expérience au Culinarium restaurant à la carte, servant des mets dignes d ' un étoilé et tout ça dans un superbe cadre. Ne vous méprenez pas, à l ' arrivée, vous serez accueillis par le directeur et son équipe mais ce n ' est que la réception... Les chambres raffinées sont dissimulées dans un agréable jardin non loin de la piscine , du bar et du restaurant . Vous pouvez rejoindre la plage avec une navette (gratuite) ou en vous baladant dans une nature sauvage et surprenante. Des voiturettes déambulent dans le domaine si quelqu'un a des difficultés de se déplacer. Une navette peut également vous amener dans la petite ville de Tropea (payante)ou vous pouvez vous y rendre facilement pieds. Chouette expérience Bw

TUI Blue Tropea ist eine einzige Enttäuschung! Bei Ankunft kein warmes Wasser, Fön defekt, Fernseher defekt. Unser erstes Zimmer “Junior Suite” war so dunkel, dass man es ganztägig elektrisch beleuchten musste. Daraufhin gab man uns ein etwas helleres Zimmer im 1. Stock. Die ganze Anlage ist ungepflegt und in die Jahre gekommen. Die hochgelobte italienische Küche sollte man ganz schnell vergessen! Frühstück und Abendessen miserabel. Abgepackte Billigmarmelade, alle Speisen kalt, Spinat, der wie 3x aufgewärmt aussah, etc. Außer an einem Tag, als TUI-Inspektoren vor Ort waren. Da ging es auf einmal auch besser!! Positiv war das nette, freundliche Personal und der wunderbare Blick auf’s Meer, obwohl der Weg zum Strand teils zugemüllt war und die “Strandgastronomie” geschlossen war. Insgesamt kann man die Anlage wirklich nicht empfehlen auch unter Berücksichtigung des relativ günstigen Preises. Leider!!

Wir schließen uns bedauerlicherweise den zahlreichen negativen Bewertungen an und können dieses Hotel, in dem wir im Mai 2024 waren, nicht empfehlen. Positiv hervorzuheben sind lediglich der Strand und die Aussicht. Unser Zimmer, eine Junior Suite mit Jacuzzi, war dunkel, es roch modrig, und es sah so aus als wurde Schimmel überstrichen. Zudem war der Whirlpool extrem verschmutzt. Hygiene und Sauberkeit waren generell ein großes Problem, sowohl im Zimmer als auch beim Jacuzzi, den wir aufgrund von gravierenden Hygienemängeln nicht nutzen konnten. Unsere Beschwerden wurden ignoriert, eine ordnungsgemäße Reinigung oder der Austausch des vergammelten Filters (wir waren eine der ersten Gäste in 2024 und es wurde tatsächlich der Filter aus 2023 wieder eingebaut) fanden nicht statt. Auch die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht (wurde nicht kalt), was unseren Aufenthalt zusätzlich erschwerte. WLAN ging eigentlich fast nirgends. Beim Essen traten ähnliche Probleme auf: Es war entweder kalt, wenn es warm sein sollte oder nicht gekühlt, wenn es kalt sein sollte. Zudem wurde die Tischdecke nicht gewechselt (sichtbarer Dreck von den Vorgängern) und das Geschirr war schmutzig. Ärgerlich war auch, dass trotz der bereits hohen Kosten für das Hotel, viele Dienstleistungen extra berechnet wurden. So kostete beispielsweise der Shuttle nach Tropea, nur 2,7 km entfernt, 10€ für eine einfache Fahrt. Auch die Nutzung der Sauna kostet extra: €10 für 15 Min Sauna und 25 Min Ruheraum. Zu allem Überfluss funktionierte der Fernseher während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts nicht und die Strandbar war geschlossen, da das Hotel keine Lizenz dafür hatte (laut Information der TUI Reiseleiterin ein Problem was mehrere Hotels in Italien aktuell betrifft aufgrund neuer Gesetze). Als wir nach Kompensation aufgrund der gravierenden Mängel gefragt haben wurde das Personal aggressiv. Erst nach 30 Minuten unangenehmer Diskussion wurde lediglich der Preis für den Jacuzzi erstattet und der Rest blieb offen. Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel eine große Enttäuschung.

Ottima l’esperienza sia riguardo la location( silenziosa anche per la positiva assenza di bambini e ricca di verde) sia per il Servizio reception, in camera e al Ristorante e in piscina) Pietanze locali molto buone e personale super gentile Camera basic ( era l’ultima) un pochino datata ma pulita spaziosa e accogliente Molto bella la spiaggia e super confortevoli gli ombrelloni ben distanziati e il chioschetto ben fornito( bevande davvero ghiacciate) Piscina davvero grande e pulita se non fosse che , equi arrivano le uniche sue noti dolenti , le docce nn funzionavano bene ed erano ghiacciate ( pur essendo presente la possibilità di scaldare l’acqua) ma sopratutto quasi nessuno le usava prima di immergersi , sia che venissero dalla spiaggia sia durante la Permanenza in piscina dopo l’uso di solari ( abbiamo visto gente con i piedi NERI) il bagnino molto disponibile doveva quando poteva redarguire continuamente ( basterebbe sottolineare l’obbligo dell’uso della doccia all’arrivo in reception o sistemare molti più avvisi in tutta l’area piscina data l’ignoranza di parecchi ospiti circa la conoscenza delle più elementari norme igieniche Tranne questo, che per noi è fondamentale, sarebbe da ritornarci assolutamente anche per lo strepitoso tramonto

Nous avons passé un séjour de 10 jours dans cet hôtel de Tropea. Hôtel sans enfants et très calme 👍, ce sont principalement des couples qui y séjournent. Nous sommes habitués de séjourner dans des hôtels Tui Blue et rien n’est comparable…Grande déception pour celui-ci. Mal entretenu et niveau de propreté médiocre 😡😡😡 Nous avons été très surpris car le personnel ne parle pas français 😡 sauf 2 personnes à la réception. Personnel peu souriant 😡sauf quelques exceptions. Les petits déjeuners et dîners sont sous forme de buffet et sont d’une qualité ordinaire, voir médiocre 😡 seul le restaurant le Culinarium en vaut la peine 👍 Toutes les boissons sont payantes même l’eau 😡. Dans un pays aussi chaud, l’eau pourrait être offerte, c’est un minimum. Certains serveurs vous facturent le café après le repas, d’autres pas…😡 Les chambres ne sont pas très grandes mais suffisantes. Par contre, peu de place pour ranger son linge 😡. Matelas confortables et choix d’oreillers 👍 Nous logions au rez-de-chaussée, petite terrasse mais pas d’intimité 😡 vu qu’il n’y a rien qui sépare celle du voisin. La propreté laisse à désirer 😡😡😡, que ce soit dans les chambres ou au restaurant principal. La piscine est agréable, la mer se trouve à 5 minutes de marche ( possibilité d’une navette gratuite), la plage dispose d’un endroit privatif 👍 pour les clients d l’hôtel. Plage propre mais toilettes de chantier 😡😡😡…. À la fin du séjour, il faut rendre la clé pour 11h, possibilité de consommer sur place et d’aller dans la piscine…par contre, pour se changer, une seule douche pour 8 personnes 😡 Conseil à donner aux voyageurs : conserver bien tous vos tickets reçus lors de vos consommations et comparerez-les avec votre facture finale. Après vérification de la notre, erreur de 68€ 😡😡😡😡😡, heureusement que nous avions une amie qui nous a servi d’interprète afin de clarifier la situation.
