Vangelis Hotel & Suites

Lovely hotel, in the centre of Protaras. Adult pool area beautifully maintained and new loungers in the individual pagodas, making it peaceful place away from the family and childrens area. Caters for both adults and families. The buffet choices for breakfast was spoilt for choice and any alleges.

Lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service throughout our whole holiday. Staff went above and beyond, nothing was ever too much trouble. There was a huge variety of food and drinks available on the all inclusive package - I'd say better than most places we have been to. Unfortunately I can't really comment on the alcoholic drinks as we are not huge drinkers. Room itself was well equipped and had plenty of room for a family of 3. The beds are super comfortable, we had great night sleep daily. The air conditioning is also great, the room was cleaned daily by lovely ladies and everything was always stocked up such as tea, coffee & toiletries and fresh towels provided. However, the pool towels can only be replaced every Monday, Wednesday & Friday which wasn't a huge issue as we did bring spare. Also if you require a late checkout make sure to arrange this beforehand, perhaps via email or telephone. Unfortunately we had issue with this due to miscommunication but the duty manager was very helpful and sorted this out for us very quickly and we were able to enjoy our last day. Overall we are very pleased with our stay and we hope to come back in the future. Thank you to everyone at the hotel!

We had a great 11 night stay recently at the Vangelis Hotel. Pros -Amazing Staff -Great food and Ice cold Air con. -Brilliant location just off the main ***** -Food was Brilliant. Cons -People reserving sunbeds and not using them all day. Not really the hotel's fault but very annoying! Special thanks to Serkan (Manager) for sorting us out a last minute late checkout for my Autistic son who does not cope well out of the room all day. Serkan saved us! Thanks to Jordan the lifeguard who is very friendly and a great guy. I would 100 percent stay again at this hotel. Thanks again! James Deakin

We have had the best stay here at vangelis hotel, the food has been amazing. Their staff can not do enough to help you and make your stay most enjoyable. The entertainment team have been outstanding so friendly and always go above and beyond to help make sure we make as many memories as possible thank you Valentino and Judit for all games and laughs. Thank you for helping to be enjoyment and to the kids.

This hotel is very well located on the main ***** in Protaras. Just a short walk from the beautiful, sandy beach. The hotel is clean with a modern feel. We booked a deluxe family room for 4 paying extra for this with pool view. It was quite small and my 9yr old slept on a camp bed with a very thin mattress- he wouldn’t manage this in another 12months and I found it disappointing. It was basically a double room with a tiny camp bed and single sofa bed. I’m not sure what we had paid for extra for. The room was kept very clean with daily housekeeping. The balcony was extremely small, only 2 chairs and there was nowhere to hang our towels or swimwear to dry. Located at the far side of the pool we still found it noisy until at least midnight. The rooms next to lobby must have been extremely noisy at night due to the entertainers and unsuitable for children who may wish to sleep before 12. The restaurant is clean and the waiting staff were all excellent and very efficient. Breakfast was great. Lunch and dinner choices were both quite limited. I think they are trying very hard to cater for Brits but honestly Greek/ Cypriot food would be so much better than joints of meat with gravy and roast potatoes. We would’ve preferred to see kebabs, seafood and moussaka! Loved the salads, fruit and dessert selection but we ended up eating out on several occasions despite being on an all-inclusive package. Communal areas like the lobby and bathrooms were always very clean and tidy. Our children enjoyed the snack bar and pool bar. They did visit the kids club on the first day but the lady there wasn’t particularly inviting and they didn’t go in. It was very basic- this could be improved significantly but we got the impression they didn’t really want it to be used. None of the animation staff approached our children to engage with them when they were playing around the pool. They tried to join in a game of volleyball one day but couldn’t get involved as it was mainly competitive adults playing! A kids-only game would’ve been a good idea. The beach is beautiful with cheap sunbed and parasol hire (2.50 per bed for the day). The sea is beautiful and clear. Our children played for hours in the sea. The water sports on offer are brilliant and of high quality. We loved having fresh corn on the cob for lunch on the beach from the street sellers. Overall, good value for money in a clean, well-located hotel. Only go for all-inclusive if you will really benefit from the alcohol- otherwise I would say the selection of local restaurants are worth a visit for dinner.

Great hotel, very clean and stylish. Selection of food and drinks is great, location is fantastic and staff are very friendly and welcoming. Only downside, no hot dogs or peanuts at the bars :( Would 100% return if I were to visit Cyprus again!

Our stay at this hotel was excellent! The staff are so kind and helpful, and go the extra mile to assure customer satisfaction. The food was the best we had and we have travelled to many hotels around the world. I would like to particularly mention Viktoria, the children’s entertainer who was just brilliant and my youngest daughter absolutely loved her and keeps asking about her even now we are back home. The location is fantastic, in the midst of all the shops and restaurants. Supermarket and pharmacy right there and also a hospital which was only a 15 minute walk which was so great when we had to visit due to my eldest daughter getting a sun cream rash and needed to be checked over by a doctor. A reminder to always get travel insurance! Thank you to the whole Vangelis team for a brilliant stay! We felt so at home and we hope to come back. -Family travel diaries

Just returned after amazing 11 night stay and wow what a great hotel with great and attentive friendly staff all round. The all round high standards are very good with a very clean environment throughout. The staff work hard to make your stay one to remember. The entertainment team Valentino and Judit were excellent and very friendly, the magic from Valentino was very good. The food was excellent (probably the best we have had abroad anywhere) with an excellent selection every day, you can see the chefs and the waitering satff take great pride in the service they provide. The bar staff were excelllent and very friendly all round a very good experinence in a very nice hotel with great staff thank you
